We really enjoyed the meals and catered to our busy schedules. Would definitely recommend to anyone on the go or wanting a balance diet.

I’m reading some reviews regarding the packaging but I’ve had no problems! The food has always been fresh, you can just see by the look and smell.

(rather then other meal companies I’ve tried. Feels like they store your food before delivering)

Any issues I have ever had have always been resolved super quick.

Unfortunately all my meals in my recent order the containers had broken and plastic bits fell into the food. Macro Meals did offer me a refund tho. Hopefully this doesn't happen again. I've been a long time customer of Macro Meals before and haven't encountered many problems with the service. I think the new containers they use aren't very good.

PLASTIC IN FOOD! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I just want to say firstly, I do not often write reviews, but I really want to raise some awareness about the issue with this company and the way they’re preparing/packing their food.
If I could have given no stars then I really would have. Where do I begin? Let’s start with the amount of plastic in the food! The last 3 orders that were delivered, there were at least 3 tubs split and leaking food everywhere. The first time this happened, I emailed customer service and explained what had happened, to which I had no reply, so I emailed them a second time and when they eventually got back to me, they showed absolutely zero care for the problem I had, it was almost an inconvenience for them to respond to me. I got a very blunt apology, but the 3 meals were refunded. Second time, same issue, split tubs, food everywhere, but this time there was plastic in the food. I think where the tubs were split, the shards of plastic fell within the food, which I cooked and almost swallowed. Absolutely disgusting! I sent another email with photos showing them how the meals arrived this time, again I received a very blunt apology and the meals refunded. They just did not seem to understand the seriousness of this, there’s a very clear problem and pattern here! The reason I ordered the meals again was because I actually like the food, that’s what’s disappointing, I’ve always enjoyed the meals! The third time was the last and final time, the exact same problem again. Please please be careful with this company! The customer service is actually appalling and the food delivered is dangerous, plain and simple!

Because there’s no option to reply to your response, I shall add a reply on here. My review is a bit harsh? I’d say I was actually quite polite and fair! Like you said, plastic in food is a very serious issue! It’s easy to blame the courier, as you always do, but that doesn’t solve the problem does it? The boxes always arrive intact, no damage whatsoever, which to me suggests that the meals were damaged during the packaging process. If the boxes arrived from DPD battered and split, then I would accept that it’s the couriers, but it is not. And you have not tried to call me.

This company is a shambles! Honestly. I have placed 2 orders and had 4 payments taken from my card. I have been calling since 9am on Monday 12th September to get through to reception which is not part of macro meals it’s a reservation line! They send an email or message as urgent to whoever is in charge of this so called company to get back to me. 9am Tuesday 13th September I call again for the 6th time. Nobody to help me or cancel my subscription and have my money refunded that you have taken! I have sent 2 online messages and an email still with zero response. Actually appalled at the way this company is run. The 2ordered meal plans that I have had have been ok apart from requesting no peppers and having peppers in my meals. I have now cancelled all orders in the hope that they do not send out and refund me the further payments that they have taken without my consent!

Shocked at how poor this experience has been. I place an order on day one for delivery on day 2. No delivery on day 2, so I call their number. THIS IS NOT THEIR PHONE NUMBER, it’s for an external call centre full of agents that only have the power to send them an email. Wouldn’t be an issue if they fulfilled their promises. So it’s now been 5 days since I’ve placed my order, no one has called me back, the same useless call centre are not helping at all. Spent my entire weeks budget on these expensive meals, only to be not delivered. Avoid this company like the plague.

Had used last year and was impressed with service and quality of food. Returned to using them couple of weeks ago. 1st delivery had missing vegetables in one meal and meal lid smashed on another meal. 2nd delivery this week arrived unchilled with only one melted ice cooler in box. There were new cardboard meal boxes used this time and all 4 meal box lids were lose and actually not fitted on each meal box correctly - which had resulted in the food spilling out in into the delivery box. Had to throw food all away as worried it was unsafe to eat. Did get a refund but Macro meals just blamed courier and took no responsibility for missing items in 1st order and not correctly packing the meals in first place with sufficient cooler packs and lids probably put on food. Very disappointing. I would not use them again.

Not only are the meals great, but I’m really impressed by the efforts of Macro Meals to keep the food chilled in transit, during the hot weather.
Salmon with sweet chilli sauce is divine and very good value. Thank you

Absolutely Class!

Meals are great, tasty, balanced and exactly what you need! Have tried alternatives previously which were ok but didn’t quite match up to the quality here.

Website is very easy to use, I Did have a bit of a nightmare whilst ordering one time but after sending an email over Tom was quick to help out!

All in all, very happy customer!
