Website was very clearly explained, re gradings. I suspect most people go wrong here and are not honest with themselves.

Emails communications was very smooth.

Delivery simple.

I had a grade b product and got the price quoted on the website.

It was a very effieicent, smooth, timely process.

Complete con. I engaged with this company based on their majority of good reviews here, but was surprised to find that once they received the iMac they reduced their original quote by well over 50%. They thought I was going to be stupid enough to accept that? The risk is then they send it back to you via DPD and it can be damaged, or with parts exchanged or removed for inferior ones. Not only a waste of my precious time and resources also but also a breach of consumer trust and an absolute con. Don't sent quotes in advance if you are going to reduce them by over half.. and if you want to clap back about the condition - this has been the most disused iMac of all time, no question. It is pristine. Furious.

To add - reading other reviews here saying that macback provide a bag and box for sending, they do not do that for your iMac.. you are expected to find your own packaging.

Why on earth would I come and review wasting further time if I was not a customer... trying to discredit my review only shows how suss you are as a company. The condition had better be how it was sent when it arrives back - be advised that I took thorough pictures. It is the end of the working day and it still has not even been dispatched back to me. My iMac sells for roughly £800.00 elsewhere in its pristine condition - hence the annoyance of your company wasting my time.

RE the packaging, I have an email before collection where you request that I package the item for collection, worded as follows -

'I ask that you make sure the item is securely packaged in its original packaging ready for the DPD driver to label it and send it out to us.

My quote was honoured in full and they were very simple, quick and easy to deal with :)

The procedure was easy, honest and straightward. I was very pleased that Macback honoured their initial quotation.

Sent my macbook in at what i thought was an honest grading as it was 5 years old. They came back and said it was a better grade than i stated so offered me more money!
Fair play for the honesty and transparency from this company, will 100% use again. Whole process was very easy with DPD picking it up and providing a box etc. Communication great throughout and as i say, hats off to them for being so honest about the quality.

What a fantastic service, slick, speedy, excellent comms and deliver on what they say they will (rare nowadays!). The courier collected and provided a bag and box as stated, which was then zip tied sealed. 48 hours later I had an email confirmation that my item had been received and they were reviewing it. Half an hour later I had another email saying that my item exceeded their initial expectations and offered me a higher value and that I would receive the money into my account by the following morning, which I did! Seriously, do not hesitate to use this company, they are excellent! Thank you MacBack UK.

Working with Macback is superb. From entering the details of the I mac i wished to sell to communicating with the company by e mail everything thing was seamless and simple. The quote from Macback was acceptable to me. The collection process was perfect and subsequent contact was excellent.
It is important to be tottaly truthful about the condition of the mac you wish to sell and not inflate your view of the machine, in that way you will get a realistic buy back price. if you have the original packaging use it and protect the machines well for transport.
Overall my experience with Mac back was brilliant unlike some companies i have previously worked with.
I will use Macback in the future if I need to dispose of any other Mac machines.

Trading in my used Macbook Pro with Macback was a seamless experience. I got a quote online, quickly saw that it actually matched what I might have received by selling it myself on Ebay and realised it would be easier to use Macback.
They picked up my used machine using DPD's secure delivery service and within three days I had not only received confirmation of receipt, but that it was graded as I expected and I received my quote in full in my bank account.
A very pleasant, stress-free experience all-round by a competent, professional company. Good to know, too, that my used Macbook will have another life elsewhere.

Collection of my Mac was quick and hassle-free, with confirmation just a few days later. A small difference in the condition assessment was swiftly resolved over the phone, and I received a very fair price. Excellent service — I’d happily use them again.

The process is very easy and effortless. We did get graded downwards, but as soon as MacBack explained why, it made sense. And frankly, recycling instead of going into a landfill can only be a good thing. Can thoroughly recommend.

What started as a bad experience, was turned around into a great experience. The owner of the business is quick to identify and rectify mistakes and the process was put back on track.

I believe my iMac 27 was in fantastic condition but there was a small scratch on the front so I put in down as grade B. I was very happy with quote given so accepted it. From that point everything flowed quickly and smoothly with very easy to follow instructions. When Macback received my iMac they checked its' condition and gave me more than the original quote which arrived in my bank account that same day. I give them 5 stars not just for the original great price and the total speed of the transaction but for their honesty, they could have just given me the original price quoted but gave me a little more.
