Few times we went to The Longwall…
Few times we went to The Longwall Beefeater in Oxford near to Mini Cooper car factory. There are many dining spaces and the arrangement of tables and chairs are very surprisingly good and beautiful and thats a new and good experience. There's upstairs and downstairs for dining and the light arrangements are very nice. Everything looks very nice and beautiful. The washroom are very clean. And for car parking we have to register our car details for free parking. The staffs are very helpful.
We ordered gammon and beef roast dinner on a Sunday. We have to wait some time. Sundays are huge rush and lots of people for dining there. But the roast dinner is hot and fresh. We enjoyed the food very much but it is little expensive.
But for Blue Light Card holders Beefeater will gives 25% discount. For getting code we will able to access a new code via Blue Light Card app. We show that QR code in the counter then they will give you discount. We already got discount from Beefeater. Anyway we enjoyed the food by going there.
Thanking Jen for an extra special Mother's Day dinner at Beefeater Redditch North …
My family and I had a wonderful time celebrating Mother's Day at our local Beefeater last night. The food is always very good at Beefeater Redditch North and last night was no exception. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and everything came out of the kitchen at the same time and hot. What made this already excellent experience even more wonderful was our server; Jennifer (Jen).
All of the staff at Beefeater Redditch North are very efficient, very friendly, very helpful and very attentive but Jen goes further by not only taking our order but by pre-empting our wants and needs. For example, Jen brought out Horseradish Sauces to go with the Steaks we'd ordered before we asked, she brought us a Vinegar bottle because some people were having chips and Ketchup and Mayonnaise for the same reason. Jen kept an eye on our table whilst taking orders, bringing food and clearing plates at other tables, bringing more refills before they were finished and offering me another Cider when I still had 2 inches of Inch's in my glass.
Jen's partner and two adorable girls were in the restaurant and Jen introduced us to them as "her friends", which made us feel super special. Thank you Jen.
I hope Jen serves our table on our next visit to Beefeater.

FOOD CANNOT FAULT IT EVEN UPGRADEING THE MIX GRILL RUMP TO SIRLOIN,BUT HIS TIME GOING WITH A VOUCHER OF 40% OFF HAD TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR TWO OF US AS THE VOUCHER WAS SENT WITH THE SAME CODE AS MY PREVIUS WEEKS VOUCHER ONLY IT CAME TWO DAYS AFTER I SPENT ON THAT PREVIOUS ONE .SO THIS FEELS LIKE A CON .YOU CANNOT CHECK THE VOUCHERS BEFOR HAND SO YOUR STUCK WITH A HIGHER BILL CUS YOUV ATE THE FOOD, WHAT THE VOUCHERS,DATES WERE INDATE TO USE ,BUT SAME CODES SENT. The wait time usually is reasonable unless there are too many offers on and understaffed. Food can be good but sometimes, albeit less often it is very poor.
Big complaint , which I found after the event was that the points, despite giving my reward card in were often missing when I checked my account. I lost a lot of points before I started checking up. Now I do it religiously and generally it has improved. However, it has happened a few times especially when the meals were below par or returned and an alternative ordered.
The system for dealing with dealing with complaints for the points is awful and despite promises from staff nothing was resolved. So back to chasing things again going round in circles. SImply do it right first time and stop referring everyone to FAQ section, after which you have to wait 8 working days for an answer again.

Forcibly turned Away at Haywain Beefeater. No compromise.
We travelled to The Haywain Beefeater, Stanford-Le-Hope on Sunday 22nd February after checking the website, which stated breakfast was served until 11am. We arrived 35 minutes before 11am and asked for a table for two, but were told that because of our presence, breakfast would overrun and therefore we could not be seated.
We were then advised to go to The Watermill in Basildon instead. Considering we had travelled over an hour specifically to visit this restaurant, being told to drive elsewhere was extremely frustrating. When we explained how far we had come, there was no attempt to accommodate us.
We were not offered a continental breakfast as an alternative, nor any compromise. Instead, we were made to feel as though it was somehow our fault for arriving within the advertised serving time.
We’ve visited this branch 4–5 times previously, as well as other Beefeaters around Thurrock and Lakeside, and have never experienced anything like this. Sadly, this visit left a very poor impression.
We ended up going to Wetherspoons in Redhill instead, where we had a cheaper and far more accommodating breakfast.
Very disappointing from a restaurant we’ve previously supported.

Arrived at 1130 waited at the bar for more than 5 mins before a member of staff even noticed us. Ordered a vanilla latte and a latte - was told “it will be a while as we’ve not turned on the coffee machine yet!” ….. I asked how the breakfast customers got their coffee. “We used the machine in the other room for breakfast but we’ve turned that off now as breakfast is over!” ….. he delivered the coffees to our table, my first taste and I marched it back to the bar! Told him he’d used sugar free syrup. He replied saying it was all he had! Well you should have told me, I replied; which was met with nothing more than a black look from him!! He made me another latte but no apology was offered. From start to finish it was poor customer service and a member of staff with dreadful attitude. Won’t be going back. Beefeater first opened the doors in 1974 ….. disappointing to see how far their staff have let the brand fall.

Pre booked for my birthday. Went home hungry and took uneaten steak home for dog. Cannot fault the servers. However, that person who calls himself a chef !! 3 ordered sirloin, 2 medium, 1 medium rare. 2 were fat and 1 wafer thin. All chewy. Mine was cold including chips, mushroom and sauce. I was told chef would replace but a 40 minute wait! My husbands mixed grill was lovely.
Any proper chef would have came out and apologised. Never again.

Took our elderly parent out for lunch. The sister beefeater Watermill, Basildon, was close because of problem. Customers transferred to Haywain beefeater Basildon. The manager Tom, & staff, was absolutely rushed off their feet. Praise were praise is due. Staff coped amazingly under so much pressure. Well done.

19th Feb went for lunch didn't get served until 40 mins after we had been seated food was cold and the steak was burnt when I asked for medium rare the chicken was burnt the ribs were overcooked would not recommend never going there again tw went at 1 pm didn't get food until 1.45 got the bill at 2.35 when asked for bill at 2.10
Beefeater Woolwich - Manager Marlon and Chef Jason are truly exceptional
Manager Marlon is truly exceptional. On only our second visit, he already remembered us as returning guests and even recalled that we love having napkins placed on the table — such a thoughtful detail that made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued.
Chef Jason was equally outstanding. We ordered the chicken and pork ribs, and both were absolutely delicious. Chicken can often turn out dry, but the chicken Chef Jason prepared was perfect — incredibly juicy, with a wonderfully bouncy texture. The pork ribs were excellent as always: tender, flavorful, and the meat fell right off the bone.
A fantastic dining experience all around. Thank you, Marlon and Jason, for your amazing service and cooking!
