Poor quality

Please look at the actual trust pilot page rather than the new one they created recently. Lynott host a number of false claims. They claim that their jewellery does not tarnish which is false, nearly every single item I have from them has tarnished. They break very very easily with adjustable rings snapping and bangles not closing within days. Stones constantly falling out of jewellery very quickly. I ordered from them online before I heard nothing for 2 weeks about my order and then after emailing them they said it would take 3 days for a response which is ridiculous. After 4 weeks from my initial order the package arrived, no apology and no communication on their part. The way they treat their staff is highly unfair. I have witnessed staff be talked to disgustingly on the counter and a very high turnover of staff. Ultimately, do not go near this place.

Poor quality

I have only received one out of the two items I've ordered. The earrings I received from the Katja Mia range were of extremely poor quality and look very cheap. I will be returning them. I also emailed the company about some false advertising on Instagram. They advertised the range with discount codes that didnt work for that particular range but it was very misleading.

Cheap cheap cheap!

Don’t know what to say about this brand, always had heard great things but then realised it’s from bloggers and influencers who very clearly get the jewellery for free. I bought what I believed was a beautiful bracelet with my daughter’s finger print on it only for it to break a few weeks later, got it fixed in cork only for it to break 2 weeks later. I’ve given up at this point trying to get it sorted. This bracelet was not cheap and as a single mother all I wanted to do was treat myself instead I ended up wasting nearly €100 on a faulty piece of jewellery, not to mention the cheap earrings they charge an arm and a leg for, never get bad reactions from earrings and within an hour of wearing them from this brand my ears are on fire. Cheap cheap cheap.

Poor quality jewelry

I ordered two bracelets at the start of January for my mom as a present one came broken and another just broke after her 2nd wear. Very Poor quality jewelry.

Helpful Staff Gorgeous Jewellery

I went into Arnotts recently and I must say Ciara the Sales Assistant was a pleasure to deal with. I was unsure about what piece to pick and she was patient and attentive and showed me endless options. I could have bought the whole display !! Highly recommend for helpful staff and gorgeous jewellery.

by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I placed an order back in March and never received part of it. I first contacted the company on 21st May through their online form and received very limited communication. Since then, I have sent over 8 emails and only received two replies — one of which was an automated response offering an exchange, despite me clearly requesting a refund multiple times.

I then had to message their Instagram page just to get acknowledgment. It should not take public follow-ups and repeated emails to have a basic issue addressed.

The entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Communication has been poor throughout, and I felt completely ignored.

Eventually, after significant effort on my part, the issue was escalated to senior management. However, it should never have required this level of chasing for something so straightforward.

I would not purchase from this company again based on my experience.

Cowboy brand

Cowboy brand! Read reviews on other trust pilot page that show what the brand is really like. Terrible customer service and poor quality products that just break. Had a braclet “repaired” 3 times after only having it for 6 weeks and then gave up. You’ll find better jewellery from temu and shein. Don’t be fooled just because it’s in Brown Thomas

Ignore the positive reviews on here

Ignore the positive reviews on here! The company has created a new Lynott trust pilot page due to high levels of negative (truthful) reviews. All positive reviews are within the last month or so and aren’t a reflection of the brand, wouldn’t be suprised if these were all friends/family of the owner. The Jewelry is brought from SHEIN/ali express (google image search their products) for 3-5 euro. Terrible brand with terrible service. Only in Brown Thomas as the owners dad is the CEO. If you are thinking of buying from this company please read the other reviews on their other trust pilot account! Avoid!!

Thank you for your reply, but it does little to address the actual concerns raised.
I stand by my original review. I am friends with a girl who previously worked on the counter for Lynott Jewellery, and the consistent understanding from them is that the majority of your jewellery is not designed in house unless it is tied to an influencer collaboration. Outside of those collections, items are sourced in bulk from external wholesale suppliers with the justification from yourself and your buyer. You only have to look at the package the products come in to know that they are not designed in house.
That does not reflect an ethical brand, either in terms of product sourcing or wider business practice.
You reference the 50+ staff you employ across Ireland as though this is automatically a positive, yet fail to acknowledge ongoing concerns around how those staff are treated and the rapid turnover that has reportedly resulted from your approach to management.
If you are genuinely open to transparent customer feedback, it’s also worth addressing why a new review page has been created rather than engaging with the feedback already present on Trustpilot. The existing 1.8 star rating reflects the experience of many real customers. In contrast, a significant number of the recent reviews on the new page appear to be from personal friends or family members, which only further undermines trust in your response as you see just trying to mask over the wider issue.
Stocking in Brown Thomas and Arnotts may demonstrate commercial performance, but it does not invalidate legitimate concerns regarding transparency, ethics, or customer experience.
These are valid issues, and they deserve to be addressed honestly rather than deflected.

We do not purchase or resell products from Shein, AliExpress or any third-party marketplace. Our presence in Brown Thomas and Arnotts is based on commercial performance and brand standards, not personal connections.

Female led Irish company...need more be said???

I have quite a few bits from Lynott. Purchased by myself and received as presents. I have also purchased a few times as presents for others. Great prices. Lovely jewellery that do not tarnish or cause blackness on the skin. Great prices and even better deals. LOVE that it is female led Irish company. A pure incentive for me. Great customer service. Would honestly recommend.
