I have used Luxury Wood Company for several months now and the first few deliveries of wood pellets were great, good price and burnt well. However the last load of Flame Plus have left large deposits of clinker on the fire plate which has caused the boiler to cut out several times a day. We had to call-out our heating engineer to reset the boiler and the constant fault has no stopped but I now have to remove this clinker build every other day to keep the boiler working. This is really annoying and disappointing as Flame Plus have been fine before this. The engineering has spoken to his go to expert who said that in his experience (considerable) clinker build up in always due to too much bark in the pellets. I realise that wood pellets are are variable, natural product but this is not good. I just can’t afford to use Flame Plus again. Not sure how much this is Luxury Wood Company’s fault, more down to Flame Plus’ manufacturing process but I bought from LWC so this review has to be for them. Now on the search for another reasonably priced alternative pellet.

We bought from Luxury Wood after a recommendation from a neighbour. We placed the order and the wood arrived as described, very packed in a pallet with some good weather proofing on top and the side. Just as well as it arrived in time for all the wet weather we have just had.

The beech logs are of excellent consistent quality and are providing great heat output as fuel for our log burner.

We previously bought logs locally (at a slightly lower cost) which were just 'dumped' on our drive - they were less uniform in size and didn't burn as well - the pallet was a lot easier to stack in our wood store as well.

We will definitely use Luxury Wood again next time!

I changed my opinion of these pellets after a few days of using them,yes the soot is pretty black but my glass screen, where we see the flame has been much clearer than with other pellets so we can enjoy looking at that for a much longer time than we usually have with other pellets.
So actually we will purchase again and sorry for the earlier review, I should have given the item more time before to see how it performed over a longer time period

I have been purchassing crates of kiln dried logs from them since 2017 and have always been pleased with the whole experience, even down to their local transport company who phone in advance to book in the delivery.

Easy ordering and free delivery makes the process and cost easy to understand. Luxurywood have been the cheapest site on line since the beginning of 2024

Very clear instructions and efficient wesite. Everything straight forward and not confusing to an eighty year old lady!

Beware of this company if you are buying wood pellets. As my delivery was moved from lane side pallet to shed it was noticed that many bags had holes and leaked pellets as they were moved and several had water damage, the pellets had dissolved to a paste. Luxury wood insisted that I show them pictures tell them the extent of the damage in Kilos. This I did but they failed to give me an adequate credit. Eventually I decided that since the goods were not fit for purpose they could take the lot back and give me a full refund. In order to refund me they said
…we kindly ask that all the bags be re-stacked on the pallet and securely prepared for collection. This includes ensuring that the pallet is well wrapped and all bags are packed and stacked safely.
Once the pallet is ready, we will arrange for collection through Pallet Force. As soon as we receive the goods back at our warehouse we will issue a refund ……
As if I could.
I will not buy from this company again.

We have a retail business with a wood burning pizza oven and the struggle to find good wood is ongoing. Thankfully we found this company. Really dry wood, quick to ignite, lots of flames, leaves lots of hot embers too. Has now become our regular supplier.

Quick Delivery of good quality pellets, would use again

Just a brilliant company. I had to order a crate of oak at short notice and could only be at home to receive on one day the following week as I am looking after a friend with cancer and he had to have chemotherapy. It was delivered promptly and even the driver knew about my friend and was so helpful with getting it up the path and stored into the garage. I've tried other companies but although they say it's kiln dried, judging by the smoke coming out of my chimney it wasn't. That's not the case with wood from Luxury Wood company. Crates are packed tightly and this company gives good value for money.

This company is excellent,i would recommend any one to go for this company the logs are nice a dry.but its a shame that they don’t do giant crates which was ideal for myself
