I can’t write enough good things about MV Luxury Travel. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with every step of the way. (Honestly, I was a little worried that they were too good to be real at first.) My first contact was with Struan, but as the trip came closer dealt primarily with Ophelie. Their responses were invariably timely and informative.

Except for flights they arranged everything; hotels, chauffeur, itinerary, tickets to attractions and even dinner reservations. They were extremely accommodating to changes we wanted and made sure that all of our must do’s were included and within our limited one week travel time.

The hotels were all beautiful, but I especially want to note Lough Eske as being one of the most luxurious hotels we’ve ever stayed at and Donegal being a real highlight of our trip. Bring a bathing suit for the spas!

The chauffeur they arranged was also extraordinary. We love Paul! He was knowledgeable, punctual, charming, and just an all-around pleasure. His comfortable vehicle was also always stocked with water and phone chargers, and he had all sorts of tips and tricks to make our touring more enjoyable.

Finally, the company provides a complete bound itinerary of your trip with pictures that was useful to refer to while traveling and will be a treasured souvenir.

I first reached out to Luxury Ireland in mid-February of 2023 for a summer trip to Ireland. Michelle promptly answered my inquiry and began asking the appropriate questions to begin planning our trip. Once the dates had been finalized, Michelle called me to answer any questions and “sealed the deal” with her enthusiasm.

When the dates were locked in, I began working with Florence on the details. Florence took care of our hotel (castle) accommodations, restaurant reservations, exhibit reservations, shows (Killarney – Gaelic Roots and Celtic Steps) and walking tour guides (Derry – David Douglas & Dublin - Eamon). I was extremely impressed with both Michelle and Florence in terms of their professionalism, kindness, responsiveness, and project management.

Based on my interaction with Michelle and Florence, I expected a wonderful trip but it exceeded our expectations. The driver picked us up in Skibbereen (we had spent the first 4 days of our trip with a genealogy company) and we spent the next 8 days with Luxury Ireland traveling up the west coast of Ireland into Northern Ireland – Derry, Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills, etc. and then back to Dublin. We covered a lot of ground and saw tons of wonderful things!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary during our trip and every hotel/castle and restaurant congratulated us and provided us something extra special whether it be sweets in the room or champagne and a lovely dessert in the restaurants. Florence did an incredible job listening (via email) and capturing things I mentioned. The accommodations were spectacular and the restaurants were wonderful with a great combination of formal fine dining and some more relaxed choices. Everything was executed flawlessly!

I asked Florence to find us a “fun driver” and she certainly delivered. Dan McKevitt was the perfect driver for us. Dan did a great job reading us and figured out very quickly that we like to joke around and have a good time so there were many stories and much laughter during our time with him. He also picked up that we prefer the “off the beaten path” and suggested a few things like Kerry Cliffs, the Joyce Country Sheepdog demonstration and less populated beaches as stops. Speaking of stops, Dan was very considerate in pacing our stops so that we could get out and stretch our legs. He bought me coffee multiple mornings and shared his Walker’s Liquorice Toffee candies (he was a bit bummed when we told him we could get them on Amazon 😂). To top things off, Dan bought us a bottle of champaign for our anniversary!

I was somewhat concerned that we might get bored during some of the longer drive times but Dan kept us entertained educating us on the scenery and Irish culture including:
• Civics lesson on Ireland government structure
• Catholic school experiences
• Mother and baby homes
• Taking the soup
• Flight of the Earls
• Burning of Derry
• Queen Maebh & The Brown Bull
• The Hound of Culann
• Finn McCool, Benandonner and the Giant’s Causeway

I would recommend Luxury Ireland without reservation and plan on using them again in 2025 for a trip to Scotland. Thank you, Michelle, Florence and Dan, for a trip of a lifetime!

We spent an amazing 14 days touring around Ireland and Northern Ireland because Luxury Ireland Tours! They made sure we had the most excellent private chauffeur and tour guide. Our visit coincided with an unseasonably rainy period but our guide made sure that despite the weather challenges, we still had a blast!
Our itinerary was tailored to our personal preferences plus our accommodations and suggested options for dining were stellar. Any decisions we made for last minute changes were happily accommodated with immediate support from Luxury Tours - which was so much appreciated when we were on the road.
The service we received from their Operations Manager was more than we could have hoped for and we couldn't recommend Luxury Ireland Tours any higher.

Luxury Ireland Tours did a great job for us. We wanted to see Ireland and throw in a few rounds of golf so we structured an itinerary that did just that. The private chauffer that they provided was excellent in all regards and we learned a great deal about the Irish culture and how proud they are of that culture. Luxury Ireland picked the very best hotels and restaurants for us throughout the 12 day trip. There were very few issues but when there was they were available 24/7 to handle and resolve them. We would not think twice about using them again or recommending them to close friends.

Our tour of Ireland was fantastic. Service provided by Luxury Ireland tours was 5 star. Our driver and tour guide Maeve was wonderful, so easy to get along with. Wish we could have spent more time in Ireland, it is a beautiful country and the people are lovely. Would highly recommend Luxury Ireland Tours.

My husband and I spent 8 days touring Ireland in September. Annie and Amy set up a wonderful itinerary for us. They were both easy to work with and very attentive. The hotels were wonderful; all beautiful with excellent service. The highlight was Tom, our driver/guide, who was able to make the most of each day, while providing insight into all of the areas we visited. We would recommend Luxury Ireland Tours.

We had an amazing week touring all of Ireland. The hotels were very classy, accommodating, with extremely professional staff and our tours really let us taste the country of Ireland. The company handled such a large group (seven of us total) perfectly and from the moment we landed until we left everything was provided for us.
Of note, our driver/tour guide Terry performed an amazing job. He normally escorted us through the week but provided us with such a unique feel for the local areas, lore, and history. He truly turned the trip from a wonderful experience to a memorable one. He remembered all of our names, knew what subjects we were interested in, and after a few days he had a great feel for the food we like to eat and the sites that we truly wanted to see. Also, he was an amazing performer who made us laugh at every opportunity and made us feel completely welcome in his country. We will never forget him and are still talking about him everyday.
Thank you for such an amazing experience in Ireland and we have told all of our friends and family how it has been our best vacation in the world to date.

First off the most important thing regarding our tour was our driver Terry Haughian. One day he asked how long we thought he had been a tour driver. I thought 12 years but in reality 2023 was his first year! He knew all the roads and destinations and was a great driver. There were 7 in our family ranging from 25 to 75. Terry had the Mercedes Sprinter Van so plenty of room for everyone.

Our tour of Ireland included sites in Dublin, Cork (2 nites), Killarney, Galway, Donegal and Hollywood UK. Near the end of the week Terry asked everyone what was their favorite part of the tour. I said seeing the different countrysides. Others said the town of Killarney and the castles. My grandson said he especially liked the St Mary's Cathedral in Killarney. But it was hard to pick out any one thing as we saw among others we toured the Jameson Distillery, The Dark Hedges, history cruise from Lisloughrey Pier, the Giant's Causeway, the Cliffs of Moher, and we watched people kissing the Blarney Stone :)

Terry got us everywhere on time and was there to pick us up on time daily. He especially helped my wife with her walker/transporter which broke on the first day and many days Terry arranged with the hotels and sites to let us borrow one for the day.

Terry is now our friend and we have communicated with him after the tour asking him different questions. He also recommended a few movies that he thought we would like. Last night we watched the 1959 Disney movie Darby O'Gill and the Little People which we liked.

We highly recommend Luxury Ireland Tours and if you're lucky you'll get Terry (5+ stars) as your driver and tour guide!

We took a tour with Luxury Ireland Tours during the last week of June 2023. It was my wife’s 70th birthday and I planned a surprise trip for her. I invited two other couples, her sister and her sister’s husband and two of our good friends. My wife did not know about the trip until the week before we left. I decided to give her at least a week to plan and get used to the idea. I did not, however let her know that the other two couples were coming along. She was not aware of that until they joined us on the plane in Minneapolis. It was a terrific surprise an a great start to what turned out to be a most memorable trip.

I worked with Florence for several months before the trip to make sure that everything was just right. She was a joy to work with and took extra care to make sure we included things that would be of interest to my wife. The trip was planned to be a 10 day event, starting and ending in Dublin, circling in a clockwise direction through the republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Florence arranged that we drive through the city in which her third great grandmother was born. We were able to stop there and visit the old church, now a ruin. She also lined up a horticulturalist to walk us through the flora of an ancient area of meadow and stone. He was a published author and an expert on the local plants and environment. We spent two nights in castles and other nights in marvelous hotels with exquisite landscaping. All of the dinners we planned ahead of time were wonderful.

Our transportation was a customized Mercedes Sprinter Van with comfortable seating for 9 people and accommodated all of our luggage easily. Our driver, Tomas, made the trip even more special. He was constantly on the lookout for places along the way that we might want to see, local restaurants where we might have fun eating and ensuring that in every way we were comfortable. We had great fun talking to him about the country and its people.

I have traveled all over the world, but must say this is the most fun that I have ever had away from home. All of us were blown away by the beauty of the country and the hospitality of its people. Ireland Luxury Tours made the trip a breeze. Once we got on that bus with Tomas, we knew that everything was taken care of. All we had to do was enjoy the trip. If you are planning a trip to Ireland, this is the way to do it!

From the moment we (my husband, my mum and me) embarked on our 8 day journey to the very end, our experience was nothing short of exceptional.

First and foremost, Paul was an outstanding driver who ensured our safety and comfort throughout the trip. He was always punctual, reliable, and courteous, making sure that we arrived at each destination on time and without any hassle. His driving skills were impeccable, and we felt secure on the road, even on the narrow and winding roads that are characteristic of Ireland.

Beyond his driving prowess, Paul was an absolute pleasure to be around. He was very polite, fun, and knowledgeable, which made the trip all the more enjoyable. His passion for Ireland's culture, history, and landscape shone through in his storytelling and anecdotes, and he shared his wealth of knowledge with us in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. We learned so much about Ireland's rich heritage and traditions, and it was all thanks to Paul's expertise.

Furthermore, the tour company (specifically Helen) was excellent in all aspects. The itinerary was well-planned, and we were able to see all the highlights of Ireland, from the rugged coastline to the picturesque towns. The accommodations were comfortable, and the meals were delicious and authentic, giving us a true taste of Irish cuisine.

Overall, our experience with MV Luxury Travel Company was outstanding, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to explore Ireland. Thank you for providing such a memorable and enjoyable trip, and we look forward to traveling with you again in the future!!

Our family trip to Ireland and Scotland was as magical as the countries themselves. We were a diverse group of ages, experiences and expectations and our adventures did not disappoint. What made this trip so memorable was the outstanding level of service provided by Luxury Ireland Tours. From customizing the itinerary and the vehicle we had to helping select restaurants and making sure we had feather pillows - everything was exceptional. The service from Luxury Ireland Tours was very prompt and friendly. From original planning to the end of the tour, we received dedicated personal service. We changed some visits on the fly and we were able to rebook or rearrange items as necessary. The hotels and restaurants they booked for us were all excellent choices showing us a variety of foods and places in Ireland. Our driver guide was great as were the guides at specific sites, museums, and city tours. We highly recommend them and will use them again to visit other parts of Ireland.

Wonderful August trip to Ireland with Luxury Ireland Tours. The Wild Atlantic Way had stunning views and our guide Robbie provided flawless driving, fantastic dining recommendations, and impromptu history lessons. The food and accommodations were top notch. Highly recommend the group and already looking at their offerings for Scotland.

We loved our trip! Florence did a great job setting everything up and everything was perfect. There was a lot of driving involved and our driver, Gerard, was almost the highlight of the trip! We are avid hikers and all our hikes were planned perfectly (including a guide on Carrauntoohil - highly recommended). Staying at Ashford Castle is a must. We had a great trip and it was planned very well!

Luxury Ireland tours organized a two-week tour of Ireland for my husband and 17 yr old son. The trip went flawlessly and was an overall smashing success. All the staff of luxury Ireland tours we worked with were evidently highly experienced professionals. They designed an itinerary that included beautiful accommodations (which nicely balanced spas, stately manors with city/town elegance and style), quality restaurant suggestions ( with life-saving reservations made for us ), stunning scenery, top-notch tour guides, and attractions well suited to our needs and interests. All our correspondence with our tour coordinator ( Florence) was prompt, courteous, and remained truly engaged and attentive at all times. Our driver ( Frank) was the epitome of an authentic Irish gentleman who drove us in comfort and put us at ease with his expert driving skills, dependability, and warm demeanor. He shared insider knowledge and Irish history that made us gain far more from this trip than any other.
Overall, we truly had no complaints, the only comment may be that perhaps on some days the itinerary was rather ambitious but, in retrospect, all of the destinations were so impressive that I'm not sure I would want to give any up. In short, I would use luxury Ireland tours again in a heartbeat. It was a true pleasure to not have to worry about the stress and hassles of planning and researching a trip to an unfamiliar destination AND it gave my husband a chance to actually relax and enjoy the scenery rather than the stress of driving.
