This was the worst experience in Italy and I urge all to find another tour operator! We booked a Rome golf cart tour by night during our travels in Italy, and it was not as advertised. My family felt very uncomfortable and unsafe with our driver. I have reached out to Luxurbe multiple times through all the avenues suggested on their website, with details of our experience in hopes that they would offer a resolution. I have received no response. In addition, there was no communication regarding the tour in the days leading up to the tour, as there had been with other agencies we had booked with. This leads me to believe the business is a scam and all positive reviews were generated by bots.
In my opinion, Italian culture and businesses are known for professionalism and passion; Luxurbe is the opposite.
Because of the lack of communication and a last ditch effort for consolation, I have requested a refund through Viator, the third party we booked through, and I have disputed the charge through my credit card. Although we cannot erase the memory, I am hopeful we at least get our 800 euro back.
I do not typically leave negative reviews but I do so now to prevent other travelers from being scammed as we were.

Not sure how this company has a good rating at google unless they bought the reviews. BELIEVE those who said the tour was not what was promised. We were over charged and then brought on a very poor 2 hour (supposed to be 3) Golf cart tour that skipped half the listed stops. We were charged an outrageous $90 to be picked up a few blocks from the meeting site (to accommodate a guest with physical issues) and then they overcharged that! $586 for a 2 hour tour. When we complained to the company they basically said "too bad"...complain to Viator. DO NOT BOOK!

It's unfortunate to have to report a service provider for misrepresenting their services, especially when the person who charged you and is looking for ways to avoid refunding you.
On September 18, 2025, we embarked on a trip to Italy.
For this trip, we booked a guided golf cart tour of Rome online through GetYourGuide, called Golf Cart Tour: Express Highlights of Rome. The guided tour is organized by the Luxurbe agency and will take place on September 17, 2025.
The description on GetYourGuide's website includes a description of the events and places we will see, which was provided by the Luxurbe agency.
The Collosseum is also mentioned. In the golf cart, I asked the driver when we'd see the Collosseum, the main excursion in Rome, and the reason for our reservation. To my surprise, he replied, "I don't think we have time to go see it." I told him that's why we took the tour, because it's listed and because we want to see it. He replied the same thing.

Upon our return, we filed a complaint with the agency, no response. Two days later, another one, no response. Four days later, we wrote directly (in chat) to GetYourGuide, who took our complaint and forwarded it to the agency responsible for the tour: Luxurbe.

Response after 3 days:
The Luxurbe agency won't accept our complaints because the event took place over a month ago.

It's incredible how they can avoid their mistake by not even mentioning that we didn't see the Colloseum, even though it was clearly stated in the description.

What's more, they're false; the online reservation indicated that we should book early to secure a spot.
Then the confirmation was only made 24 hours before the event, on September 16th, so here, the one-month delay since the event took place doesn't apply.
Even today, it hasn't been a month since the reservation was paid.

Courtesy of GetYourGuide. They gave us a refund, but not through the Luxurbe agency, which we consider somewhat dishonest in attracting customers with false claims, lies, and descriptions of what we'll see on the website, and in using other lies to avoid refunding the customer.

It's a shame that customers who pay to get what's described won't get their money back.
