AVOID AVOID DO NOT BUY A LUMATAB if you want a brick, I'm sure you'll get better use out of a literal brick plus cheaper as well, the tablet has trouble multi tasking constant freezing, constant WiFi dropouts, colours are muddy & dull, the OS is outdated, quality of tablet is extremely cheap matches the price$$, I'm doing a Credit Card charge back as company doesn't want to deal with a refund easy dealing with a bank than these people.

SCAM, DO NOT BUY: Very similar experience to others mentioned here. The laptop arrived looking different to both the photos online and the box, while very common apps such as SkyScanner were not compatible. Attempted to return but the process was very long winded and the company kept offering partial refunds and saying I'd need to pay customs fees to return it to China, which is obviously unacceptable when they've missold a faulty product. I was able to get the money back via my bank (Santander) and sent the following info to the bank as evidence (much of this was in excess of what the bank asked for, but listing here in case it helps anyone else):

- Summary of all the issues with the tablet and my attempts to secure a refund
- Order confirmation email
- All emails with customer service
- WeTransfer email (showing that the video requested by customer service had not been opened/viewed)
- Typed transcript of video sent to customer service, which showed and described issues with the tablet
- Photos of actual tablet + photos of box + photos of tablet shown on website (to show difference)
- Print out of review that led me to buy the tablet (showing the reviewer's headshot was a stock photo, so the review was likely fake)

Despite the "co.uk" domain name, Lumatab is wholly based in China, which is where your device will be sent from. It will have a Chinese language interface and built in Chinese apps.
Because of the battery, and the return address being in China, you will find it impossible to return it unless you pay a carrier more than the device is worth.

Cheap and NOT cheerful, keeps dropping wi-fi and the battery drains quickly, the speakers are weak with the housing crunching as you use the touch screen.
I don't see how any 5 star reviews got verified.

I can only reiterate what other reviews have said. The tablet was totally useless for UK use as it was formatted in chinese and although we changed the language to English we couldn't download or access apps or Google. I purchased it believing it was a UK company. I have since found out this company does not have good reviews. I sent it back to the return address which was on the label. They do not want to refund me and pointing out it will be costly to send back to China!!! I didnt purchase from China. There are companies posing as London UK when infact they are not. Be aware and check to make sure you are infact dealing with a UK company and not a Chinese company.

Do not order from this company! They are Not based in the UK. Their product is absolutely garbage and not worth £139.00. Normally we would check Trust pilot, but as this was for a present and their website appeared to give good feedback we went ahead and placed an order. First Red Flag, it took forever to arrive (from China)😡
Second Red Flag, when it arrived it box it came in only had a picture of the product but nothing else. Third Red Flag, No UK plug, instead a two pin plug, a charging cable, SIM removal tool (cheaply made) User manual made up of three bits of small paper poorly put together and totally useless. The tablet 😲👀😡. Cheap tacky plastic casing which was ready to fall apart. Unable to initially setup as it was all in Chinese 😡. When we did finally managed to set it up in to English we had numerous issues trying to connect to Google or any other apps. Even our security software was Flagging up concerns. So we got back on to LUMATAB by email, and was dealing with someone named Vivian, she initially offered us a 12% Refund 😡😭, but only if we accepted their terms that the product worked, IT'S A LOAD OF GARBAGE! After 9 emails and getting nowhere fast they came back with a 15% offer, of the full price which is about £20+. 😡😭😡.. Totally Scammed. They said that we could return the package to them but we would have to pay Customs 🛃 charges and local Taxes 😭..And if they found that the product didn't meet with their return policy we would get nothing back. So let's put it this way. To send the device back to them in China by Courier would cost £45, plus Customs 🛃 and tax costs which could be up to more than the courier costs, say £50+. That a total estimate of over £200+ that we would have had to pay, with no guarantee of getting our original money back. They have well and truely SCAMMED us. Please, avoid this company at all costs. I hope this review helps others.

Absolute rubbish!
I looked at this as a Christmas gift for a child has learning disabilities and his school offers apps that can help. It said it would be here by the Dec. 23 and it was on a UK site. (Had no clue it was rubbish from china)
It did not arrive until Dec.28th. The first day setting it up, someone attempted to hack in to the Google account. It said it needed a security update and the last update had been in 2018! Thought this was a new product. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!
Now trying to return it, they say I will have to pay to mail to China and all the taxes and fees that will be charged!

They did offer to let me keep it for a 10% refund. Updating the security will cost more than that and what can you do with a tab if it can not connect to the internet?
Also the lumatab.co.uk site has been closed down. Guess they made enough money during Christmas selling rubbish with lies.

Compleat scam, DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY

This is not a very good product. Bluetooth wont work, wifi keeps dropping, apps and Internet slow. Website states 90 day return or refund which is rubbish as customer service disappear off the planet when you mention it. They wil accept returns if you cover return postage costs and taxes and imports associated costs. I would avoid as it seems like a scam.

Tried to cancel order next day only to be informed that shipping was automated so could not stop shipment. No accessories sent. Battery life is appalling - only lasts 1-2 hours, even when not in use. I believe this is a URL Fake Shop who try to steal your personal info and your money. Unable to contact them as emails do not go through. AVOID.

Fake UK company. Tried to cancel the order immediately but the company claimed shipping was automated and could not be stopped.

Nowhere does this website state that this is a Chinese company.

Trying to return the item but they are trying to charge me for shipping and import costs to China.

Avoid at all costs.

Wouldn't give it a star in all honesty, poor product, cheap plastic non durable keyboard and mouse, poor customer satisfaction, cost too much to return to China, kept offering 15% compensation. Be aware and do not purchase.

Amazon are selling these tablets now, so any problems will be hopefully resolved if you purchase directly from them.

I must be honest I have not bought one of these. I left my iPad on a plane and after three weeks have heard nothing from the airline. So I looked online for suitable alternatives. I found this one that got glowing reviews from one reviewer. Fortunately I checked Trustpilot before buying. I am glad I did! I tried emailing the reviewer and it just bounced back. Clearly the whole thing is a scam.

Can't plug it in - because I've been given a Euro plug, in Australia. And doesn't charge with any other charger that I've tried. So does it even work? Who knows.

Contacted support and they told me to buy a plug converter.

Really poor experience, and I suppose I'm likely out my money as well.

The tablet is of poor quality and didn't support many of the basic apps I use.
When I asked for a return address so I could get a refund it took 4 emails,after returning the product at my expense of AU $50 I supplied a tracking number,upon it being delivered i requested my refund that's when the emails stopped being answered.
15 emails have been sent in total the last 5 have gone unanswered.
I now have no tablet and out of pocket $350+.
I would never recommend or do business with this company.

Total rip off operation. Tablets are some hacked old tablets which show android 13 but are really old redundant tablets nicely wrapped up. Managed to get my money back through Barclays chargeback mechanism

I tried to order from this site today, glad payment never went through after reading these comments

I purchased this tablet in January 2025. From the start, my apps were being over-ridden by constant ads, I had to continually close apps I hadn't used and finally it started to lose all battery power after 24 hours or so when it hadn't been used.
I didn't realise it only had a 90 day warranty. There is no way I would have purchased this piece of rubbish otherwise.
And I'm pretty sure their replies are AI.
DO Not Buy

Components from 2016 tablets, broken mouse, dented keyboard not a UK company but China won't refund and you have to pay return postage to China then receive a refund (yeah okay 🤔) also I emailed then every day for a prepaid returns label but received the same automated response everyday about sorry for erratic postage and damage to mouse and keyboard send us your details and will send you a new mouse and keyboard.
I got in touch with my bank declared this transaction as a scam they investigated and I received a full refund.
