Customer Service What Customer Service

I had a sizing issue with my order and trying to get help from Lu-Ciee was an absolute nightmare. Their customer service is seriously poor. It took forever to even get a response and when I did it was just some canned reply that didn't help at all. It felt like they just don't care about their customers.

A brand that listens and evolves for good things

It’s rare to come across a brand that truly evolves. I’ve seen some of the criticism here about the return policy, and it’s worth noting they’ve made real changes—EU customers can now get refunds, which wasn’t the case before. That kind of shift speaks volumes. My own experience was excellent: the clothing was beautiful, well-crafted, and arrived in careful, minimal packaging. When I reached out with a question, the team responded with care and clarity. Not every brand listens and improves—this one does, and that matters to me.

Beautiful clothes

I’ve been following this brand for a while and finally placed my first order recently—so glad I did. The pieces are beautifully made and feel like they’ll last forever, which is exactly why I shop slow fashion. I also noticed they’ve updated their returns policy to offer refunds for European customers, which gave me extra confidence when placing my order. Customer service was prompt, friendly, and transparent throughout. It feels good to support a brand that’s evolving and listening to its community.

I first bought the ramie blouse and…

I first bought the ramie blouse and then I was so impressed I got a few more linen items. The fabric is soft and feels alive, and they all just effortlessly goe together.

What really won me over, is how genuinely thoughtful everything feels. Even the dies are natural. This company isn’t just checking boxes—they care, and it shows in the smallest details, even down to how they helped me with my order.

I've washed and worn these pieces over and over, and they’re aging beautifully. No pilling, just slow wear in the best way. They slowly became my favorite pieces to reach for.

It’s rare to find a brand that feels this close to the earth without compromising quality or style. Knowing it's a small woman led company, and not some fast-fashion nonsense, I know I will be back for more.

Totally Bummer Quality

I was pumped for my Lu-Ciee order, but what a letdown. The clothes are just super low quality especially for what they charge. After just one wash it already looked like I don't owned it for years and the seams were starting to go. Seriously overpriced products for these kind of things. Just skip it.

Truthfully quality poor…but worst part…

Truthfully quality poor…but worst part is you have to return to Czechoslovakia at your own expense…and then…you only get store credit…no refund….and it does NOT tell you this unless you look up their return policy. Just awful. I’m keeping as I’m stuck with it and it’s not worth the effort or expense to get a store credit. Good luck to them staying in business.

Prices (€ 225 for a shirt) does not match the bad quality at all. Design is not applicable to the photos.

This is a beautiful little shop with local clothing

This is a beautiful little shop with Bali based owner with clothes made not far from the shop ... staff is very helpful and the owner is very attentive... my wife needed help, and the owner was in the shop within 10 mins and answered all questions we had and helped us to choose the perfect pieces...
My wife had such a great experience with the website and online help l... very helpful costumer service and prompt...

Sizing wrong & exchanging ££££££££

First of all SIZING- bought the green suede loafer in 39 and they were huge. I liked them enough that I wanted an exchange. I contacted CS who gave me an address to return them in the Czech Republic. They said to list the value as a £10 gift. Dodgy! Also, I had to cover the cost of postage from a reputable carrier, which amounted to £45-£50… this is UNACCEPTABLE .The loafers were £187 so adding an extra £50 to the purchase price to exchange is ridiculous AND sadly prevent me from buying from them ever again. Which is shame as the quality of their clothes are quite good. IF they change this policy then I may be coaxed to return as a customer.

Regarding return shipping:
As a small independent brand, our current policy — which is outlined on our website — does require customers to cover the cost of return shipping. This is a common practice among smaller labels that operate internationally, though we fully understand it can be frustrating, especially for customers in the UK returning items to our EU-based warehouse.

As for the customs value declaration request was intended to help avoid unnecessary fees upon arrival which would need to be covered by the sender— but we take your feedback seriously and will review the language used, as it should never come across as unprofessional or “dodgy.”

Stay clear!

I ordered mules from this company and I didn’t check their return policy. They only offer exchange or credit!
They are based in Bali, it costs a lot to post your item, then you pay duty and they don’t pick it up from the post office for weeks so clearly they don’t have a business that can receive goods. The owner did communicate with me and it as a very long process with me chasing up with Aust and Indonesia post as to where the goods were located. Consequently I have a substantial credit with them that I won’t be using as it will cost me so much to buy something else. Their products are very expensive and clearly from other reviews(which unfortunately I didn’t read before ordering) are poor quality. Stay away from this company, total rip off!

For customers in Australia, returns are directed to our studio in Indonesia, which can involve slower processing times due to customs and local delivery logistics. While this is not ideal, it’s currently the most efficient solution available to us to service customers in Australia.

Never received order

Never received order. Used tracking service through their links and they tried to steal $47 from me saying they needed my credit card to pay a refundable $1. Wow. Scam.

Incorrect sizing

Incorrect sizing, misleading information ‘Stating true to European sizing” for shoes, but the sizing is completely out of line with European standards. NO REFUNDS, only credit notes. Costly return. Stay away!

Very poor quality, Fraudulent Company

Very poor quality - items don’t look like the Photos. Poor material, while being very expensive.

The team does not want to comply with Dutch law that mandates to refund the money when an order is returned. They don’t want to return money - which is fraudulent! Luciee simply does not respond to e-mails anymore..

They remove reviews & post on Instagram. so that all looks great. Very dissapointing and unfair.

I will start a legal procedure as it is inacceptabel that they simply don’t respond.

No refunds for returns - credit notes only & a costly process

Just be aware that no refunds are given for returns, only credit notes or exchanges. While this is stated under the Returns section of the website, it is so unusual to not offer a full refund these days, I didn't check - and got caught out. The issue is then compounded because this business is based in the Czech Republic, so when you return the item from the UK, you pay a fair bit for return postage then pay 15€ postage again to order a new item - and run the risk of issues with customs. The customer service is another challenge - it's not very quick so you might have to wait a few days for a response, and even then you don't always get your questions answered. I am waiting for my replacement blouse and am sure the quality will be fine, but it's been frustrating.
