This dealer does not offer the best prices. I brought in around 40 silver bullion coins and was offered £9 BELOW spot price - no thanks. Another dealer on Baker Street (London) offered spot price and even paid slightly more for some of the more interesting coins. Shopping around made a difference of a couple of hundred pounds, so I’m glad I did.

I also tried to sell some scrap silver jewellery, but it wasn’t accepted. Not because they don’t buy scrap, but because there was a queue and they didn’t want to deal with it. That’s poor service, especially after waiting my turn. I’m also not sure why they only have one person serving.

Overall, Hatton Garden is overrated. There are better dealers elsewhere offering more competitive prices. My advice: shop around.

I had a gold bracelet I wanted to sell. After some searching around, I settled on the London Gold Centre. Using the website is so easy and liked that you get a quote straight away. I specifically wanted to use them, because they had various testing methods and the latest technology. I also looked through other reviews, which were glowing. And I can now see why. I sent my bracelet off next day 1pm delivery, the next day they received it, and straight away, tested it and called me to confirm what I would receive. They were very polite, professional and straightforward on the call, very good customer service, I felt valued. They confirmed what I would receive, which was around the quoted amount, and the transaction was that easy. I know I’ve received good value, because I’ve sold some gold items in the past elsewhere and in comparison, London Gold Centre offered a realistic and reasonable amount. I would not go anywhere else from now on with my gold and silver, and will be recommending them.

Contacted them to sell scrap gold on a Monday morning and had the money by Wednesday afternoon. Very straightforward process and a good price. Would recommend them very highly.

Highly recommended. Paid a good honest price and responded the same day they received the item. Based on my experience, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I could tell they were not offering me the right price for my mother's items from India. They did not even bother to weigh the bracelet before offering a laughable price. I went to another jeweller around the corner and received ten times more; they weighed and inspected it properly. They also said it was higher-Karat than what the Gold Centre staff told me.

What a load of bulldozers these are i sold them my necklace and bracelet. I'd already bought another and told them this , so I said I needed the money. Next my offer went down from 1835 to 1735. Then the banks were on holiday when I challenged this was a normal business day they said no there accountants were on holiday. I challenged the 1735 they said oh we got it wrong it's 1835. When I checked there price on line it was 1850. So I rang and said just send my stuff bk they said do you want 1850. In the end I got the money but I had to ring them 4-5 times tell them to send my stuff bk. I won't deal with them again unfortunately. If you do make sure u stand your ground. Reminded me alittle bit of only fools and horses..... without the good old British humour. Well only on my side. Kcuf u very much london gold company...... not very lovely juberlery.

Amazing service despite postal of mine being lost for months at other stores due to my own mistake they eventually found it and rang me up and sent me my money by bank transfer very fast, going by their online calculators they have some of the best and fairest prices in the UK compared to others who tried to scam just to “make money”.Also the person complaining about them giving them a better price in cash needs to educate themselves on business before slandering because companies who do that are called high value dealers like jewellers who make or deal cash payments equivalent to €10,000 or more.

A polite service and a fair price. I was surprised to be offered cash because the bank will not allow more than 10k transactions per day. The prices paid for a gram at each level could be clearly posted and not just the spot prices.

I would recommend LGC,this is not my first time of using them.I sold some gold some years ago and again today.Prompt courteous service.

This outfit is bent. I phoned ahead as I specifically required a bank transfer not a cash payment (I had come from overseas to sell gold bullion and was limited in how much cash I could take through customs).

Once my bullion had been assessed, I was given a fair price (£16,500) but told that they could not make an electronic payment because they’ll had a backlog of transfers to do. I explained my predicament and they maintained that they could only pay in cash.

I asked for my gold back to take elsewhere. Although the next place I went to offered very slightly lower prices it was very professional compared to London Gold Company. I was asked to produce ID and had to open an account. A bank transfer was no problem. I wasn’t asked to provide ID at London Gold Company.

On researching it later, I discovered that the maximum permissible amount of cash settlements per annum is £8,000. My bullion was valued at £16,500 and LGC didn’t bat an eyelid about paying me cash. The chap in the queue ahead of me walked out with considerably more than that.

These guys are totally unprofessional. If you want a slightly better price and you’re happy to commit a criminal offence by dealing with them in cash, these are the guys for you

Yesterday at 5 Hatton garden, I got a fair price for my gold.
It was fast and efficient.

It would have been 5 stars had I been told the weight of my gold and how much per gramm they were offering.
Of course I weighed it at home, but their scales would be more efficient I think.
I would advice them to be a little friendly. A smile would have helped also.

A very fast and easy transaction. LGC offered a very fair price for my gold, posted to them special delivery, and it appeared in my bank account within 24 hours.

I went once before and I felt that this company gave very fair, honest and trustworthy prices at that time… So I took a friend with me a second time and individually we were offered prices for our items and then when we accepted these, the buyer appeared to be trying to reduce the amounts he had just offered, relooking for anything he could to bring the amounts we had agreed on down. He had had plenty of time and opportunity to review the items before offering us a buying price, but once we had accepted his offer he reduced our overall joint figure by nearly £200. On the strength of this I would definitely go elsewhere next time, because we came away feeling cheated.

Excellent service, and really good price paid. Posted my gold Wednesday and was paid Thursday.

Walked in and waited just 5 minutes to have my scrap gold checked over, I’d worked out what to expect based on the current metal prices. The offer was very fair and within the range I’d calculated myself before my visit. Would definitely recommend.

Posted out my items Monday afternoon, was called Tuesaday lunchtime with a far better price than anticipated, to which I agreed, money in my account this morning (Wed).
Was a bit nervous as I'd never posted out gold before but followed all given instructions and it worked well.
100% recommended this company

Very easy to deal with when selling items and I always use there gold chart as very accurate and up to date for prices. Would use again and highly recommended.
