Unimpressed. Quality just not good enough for price.

Quality of the product was poor for the price. Unfinished stitching needed cutting. Not a great fit at all. Returns policy complicated. Have to send an e-mail first and they have to receive the return in 14 days. Also postage and packaging expensive. Overall, I won't be buying anything from them again. Very unimpressed. Clearly a big mark-up on the clothes, but the quality just isn't there.

Awful quality overpriced clothes

Awful quality overpriced clothes. Straight from China,see through although I could return I had to receive a credit note. Unfortunately the clothes I ordered with the credit note were also awful quality. Better off using Shein

We would like to clarify that Lola Rae is a small, family-run UK brand. We design our collections in-house and manufacture in the UK, sourcing our fabrics ourselves and working closely with our production partners to maintain quality standards. We do not dropship or sell mass-produced items :(

We understand that personal preference plays a big part in fashion, and not every style will suit everyone. However, we take pride in the quality and finish of our garments, and this feedback does not reflect the experience of the vast majority of our customers.

Regarding returns, sale items are eligible for credit note in line with our terms and conditions at the time of purchase, which are clearly stated on our website. We apply this policy consistently and transparently.

We’re always open to constructive feedback and are more than happy to review any specific concerns directly via email.

I bought the fur coat with a hood looks lovely but omg the fur coming off it so annoying caked everyone around me in it car etc don’t want to wear it again is this normal ? Delivery ok

Some light shedding can occasionally happen with faux fur, particularly when first worn, but this definitely isn’t something we’d want to leave unresolved. I received no response for my feedback…

I received no response for my feedback and my concerns regarding the item I returned. Do not buy sale items as despite this being an online vendor and not being able to see the items prior to paying, you only get a credit note back! Appalling customer service.

Bad communication and service

I placed an order with Lola Rae Fashion.
The tracking status has been stuck on “Data Received” since January 16.

I have contacted the company multiple times by email but have received no response. At this point, the order has still not been delivered.

Based on my experience, communication is very poor and delivery promises are not being met. I would advise others to be cautious when ordering

Hey, I have just had a little look into your order, We can confirm that the order was dispatched correctly from our end and handed over to the courier as expected. Unfortunately, the courier in the Netherlands failed to progress the delivery and the parcel became stuck in transit. As soon as this was confirmed, we processed a full refund for you last week and also emailed to let you know this had been done.
We always aim to support our customers as fairly and quickly as possible, especially in rare cases like this. While we ship worldwide daily without issue, we appreciate how frustrating it is when a courier lets a delivery down, and we’re very sorry this happened with your order :(

Stay well clear

Based on my experience - stay well clear! I received faulty items from Lola Rae in November. Communication was extremely poor from the outset. It took weeks to receive replies, and I had to repeatedly chase for updates just to get basic responses.

I was explicitly told that if the items were confirmed as faulty, postage costs would be refunded. After approximately eight weeks, I eventually received a refund for the items themselves, but the postage costs were not refunded.

I emailed again regarding the missing postage refund, referencing what had already been stated to me, and received no reply. Despite multiple follow-ups, the issue remains unresolved.

The lack of responsiveness, failure to honour what was confirmed in writing, and the amount of time and effort required to obtain even a partial resolution were unacceptable.

Oversized Knit Jumper Sand

I ordered the oversized knit jumper in colour sand. The quality is awful. The jumper shown in the picture advertised is not the jumper that is sold. For example, the neckline in the picture compared to real life are two completely different jumpers. The jumper looks really thick and heavy on the picture and its as thin as a piece of paper in real life. Would not recommend to buy and its false advertising. Not worth £40 at all.
To make matters worse, I emailed regarding a refund as there is no details about how to refund on the website, apart from emailing. I havent recieved a response and its now past the 14 day return window.

We do want to reassure you that this style has been one of our best-selling knitwear pieces, with hundreds sold, and we haven’t previously received feedback suggesting the quality or fit differed significantly from the product imagery. That said, we completely understand that everyone’s expectations can be different, and we’re genuinely sorry that it wasn’t what you hoped for.

In terms of returns, we’re also really sorry if you felt unclear on the process. Our returns are handled via email so we can assist customers personally, and we’d never intentionally ignore a return request. If your email hasn’t been responded to yet, that’s absolutely not the experience we want for our customers, and we apologise for any delay or frustration caused.

Great quality

Great quality! Love both my items that I ordered and sizing is perfect too. So cosy and warm just wish I had them in every colour!

Extremely bad quality for the price.

Extremely bad quality, almost like shein. I will be returning immediately. The dress was extremely short for someone my height - 5’9. For the price of the product I am utterly appalled. Paying £70 for a dress you expect a well-made product. The material was like parchment paper. I am furious.

The Sloan is a style we carefully sourced and developed ourselves, including selecting the fabric specifically for this design. It’s a dress we’ve sold hundreds of times and restocked five times this season due to demand, so we’re really surprised and saddened to hear this wasn’t your experience.

We completely understand that fit and fabric preference can feel very personal, especially with height differences, and we never want anyone to feel unhappy with something they’ve ordered from us. We’re a small, family-run business and we take a lot of pride in the quality of everything we design and manufacture, so feedback like this is taken seriously.

Your order was placed on 18th December using standard delivery and it was delivered on 20th December at 13:21.
If there’s been an issue locating the parcel at the delivery address, we’d be more than happy to help you investigate this further with the courier however tracking also includes a delivery photo showing the parcel at the recipient address.
