What a brilliant company!!! We highly recommend them!!! We have gained 2 wonderful bedrooms and a lovely shower room.

Like others we were unsure about who to contact and who to get quotes off of for our loft which is quite a commitment. After receiving a handful of quotes from local companies Loft Plan stood out from them all.

What we loved was there was no pressure at all to commit or sign the contract. Alan attended to quote us and was so professional. He walked us through the build and what potential we had whilst also keeping it realistic.

The office were very professional and Nicola kept us up to speed at every turn. Once we were signed up she was very informative in regards to the start date and material delivery with what we needed to do.

The build itself was carried out to a very high standard. Bob supervised our first fix and Kevin supervised our second fix. Both were very friendly, professional and approachable in regards to any questions and issues (especially out of hours). Any problems or snags were rectified asap and we have no complaints at all with their attention to detail and running of the build.

Now onto the real hero's. The build team themselves. These guys were as professional as they come and really surprised us with their time keeping, professionalism, skills, communication and all round behaviour. At no time during the whole build did we have any issues with the lads. Warren got our dormer frames up in two days followed by Dean and Lee who carried out our first fix which started on time and they were a joy to have around the house. They arrived on time every day, spoke about the works that were being carried out and the scope going forward. They were also very tidy and even kept the neighbours informed and respected their property and happiness. They let us pop up daily and see the build as it progressed and adapted to any little changes we made along the way. Both were very polite around the kids and were more then happy to explain the whole process.

Ricky who did our roofing was very professional and worked hard especially when it came to helping us decide on our tiles etc. One of our main worries was the material drop offs etc and the disruption outside. The delivery team was fantastic, no issues and the front of the house was kept very tidy.

Our second fix was carried out to a high standard with our carpenter Sean doing a brilliant job on the finer details and additional works on the old stairs, as well as sorting the boxing in around the new waste pipe in our old bathroom. he was very tidy and ensured our house was sheeted up for every job no matter how big or small. He was more then happy to answer any questions and explain what was happening each day. The electricians Ron and Graham did a professional job on all the electrics and there was little to no disruption when wiring the loft and new smokes throughout the house. Both of them were very happy to talk you through the work and explain anything that we were unsure about.

The plumbing teams led by Reggie and Sam were also very informative and hard working especially when plumbing onto our old systems. We are loving the look of our new shower room and they went above and beyond to ensure our boiler and radiators coped during and after the works.

There was little to no mess in our house through the whole process. The plasterers did a top job and rectified any cracks in the rooms below without fuss. The staircase team were so tidy especially as we had a bedroom wall taken out. You wouldn't of know either team had been in the house after they had left.

Bearing in mind this all took place during a pandemic it goes to show what a professional company we had on our hands. They were brilliant around our kids and left our downstairs utility room in a clean condition after each day. We loved having them all here. Hard working, polite (no swearing) informative, and tidy.

We have to decorate so only have the one picture for the minute. But thank you Loft Plan. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

Very happy with our recent loft conversion. Finished to a high standard and all tradesmen were friendly and worked hard throughout.

Loft converted to a very high standard! We chose Loftplan due to positive reviews and were not disappointed. The entire team are great from initial appointment to final sign off, special mention to Steve, Sean, Terry, Reggie - all very professional and conscientious throughout the build. Project started in November and finished in March, the team pulled together through two lockdowns to keep the build moving, we are incredibly happy with the end result. We would definitely recommend Loftplan.

I chose LoftPlan as friends and colleagues of mine had also had their lofts converted and were very complimentary, this goes a long way to ensuring your investment will work. Whilst Covid was amongst us the team, Dan & Bill who did the structure in fact all the hard work were lovely, they kept me informed throughout, were punctual and would provide very valuable feedback on questions we needed answering. Bob who looks after the builds well he was great in his advise and would keep the team abreast of any discussions/changes that were required. The electricians, i forget their names were also great and again offered sound advise whilst drinking my tea & coffee.....Big shout out to Martin the chippy, what a nice person and worked like a trojan in building my new wardrobe, stairs, skirting etc etc you did a great job. Kev for keeping me informed along the way and Alan for plumbing in my bathroom.

We were very happy during our contact with all of the Loftplan team, from inception through to final completion, and felt at ease letting them into our home. At all times they were polite and respectful. The works were planned in a way that minimised impact and once the works started there was a continuous presence on site right up to final snagging and completion.
We are extremely pleased with the end result and they have earned this 5* review.

Great company, friendly and professional staff, very happy with the loft conversion and with the service during and after completion of the work

We got several quotes for our planned loft conversion; Loftplan had done the original partial conversion 20 years previously and we could see the owners at the time were happy with their work, so it seemed a ‘no-brainer’ to use them again.
Nick & James devised a great plan taking into account the existing loft staircase.
Despite the pandemic & terrible weather, our project started end October 2020.
The scaffolders (Scottie & team) were great and put up the structure to have minimal impact on our neighbours.
External build team Chris & Dan worked really hard in very rainy conditions to build and make water-tight our side dormers. Bob supervised throughout and if we had any issues, got them sorted efficiently.
Roofers Jason & Bradley were brilliant with their work - looked great and completed in a week. Nothing was too much trouble, fixing a couple of leak issues we had had prior to work and clearing gutters etc. Jason’s tiling work looks fantastic (& again, completed during difficult weather!).
Chris handed over to Dave & Elliot who continued the hard work constructing the internal build. Again, working long hours in difficult conditions & even working a couple of Saturdays to keep everything on track; completed by early Dec!
Sparky Dave & team were excellent too- travelling a long distance and working long hours to sort out lights,alarms & sockets.
Mid Dec, a team of 4 plasterers, Percy & co, turned up and did all the plastering in a day - 2 large double rooms; we were delighted and pleased with the speedy progress.
Last but not least, Dean put the icing on the cake in January, working hard to complete the carpentry under Kevin’s supervision.
All if this underpinned by Nicola in the office team; always up to speed on our project.
Highly recommend using them- maybe in another 20 years, you’ll be back on site!!!

LoftPlan have been professional from start to finish of our loft conversion. We cannot recommend their workmanship and services enough. They worked safely and professionally throughout last year, mid of the pandemic. They stuck to schedules, quickly responded and resolved any issues.
There was smooth transitions through all project managers from Bob to Kevin and site supervisor Chris.
We are so pleased with the results and love our new ensuite bedroom and dressing room.

We are super delighted with our new loft completed in 2020 by Loftplan. We decided to go with Loftplan based on recommendation from our neighbour who had their loft done a couple of years before. We did get a quote from another loft provider and although less expensive, that other company didn’t come across to us as having as much experience.

Our loft comprised of an additional two rooms, bathroom, crowned dorma and a new landing space on the middle floor.

The team at Loftplan clearly are experienced and confident with building lofts! The process took longer than expected but that was primarily due to the pandemic.

We felt we were in very safe hands throughout the whole process from start to finish.

The first phase was done by the highly experienced Iain and his labourer partner Joe who created the actual loft from architectural plans under the experienced supervision of Bob.

The second phase which primarily involved the carpentry, plumbing, electrics and finishing was done by a number of different people under the experienced supervision of Kevin.

The best thing about the process was how Loftplan take care of everything ! The architects plan, building control , scaffolding, deliveries , roofing , plumbing , electrics , joinery work. we didn’t have to project manage anything and just took direction from Loftplan around what to expect and what to do.

They always answered our questions and fixed any issues promptly. We asked for some additional paid work i.e doors , replacement of existing banister, additional lights and integrated cupboard which was done at a fair price and to a very high standard.

We felt that Loftplan are trustworthy and professional and totally committed to delivery!

Here are my tips :
1. Get a local skip provider
2. Get a local outdoor toilet provider if required.
3. Buy in tea , coffee, biscuits and canned drinks !
4. Be prompt with the staged payments schedule provided.
5. Ask questions in person/ communicate with the guys , preferably at the start of the working day.
6. In the initial plan, make sure you factor in all lights and switches and changes to the existing floor which leads up the the new floor space.

I used Loftplan obviously for a loft conversion. My wife and I were apprehensive at first as it’s a lot of money to spend and we were reliant on what we were told by Alan the initial contact. Alan did well to allay our fears and put our minds at ease. Works started when Nicola said it would and was great leading up to the start of works through planning. The whole process was managed flawlessly by the Supervisors Bob and Kevin, but the real heroes were the guys building it. Their efforts and skills again gave reassurance and communication was great with them. Dan and Simon were brilliant on the first fix with attention to detail. The plasters Percy and the team, again were great, but I think the real star was Martin the joiner. His skill was just amazing and so conscientious. Steve and his brother were roofers and nothing was too much trouble, and I think that’s what I learnt most throughout was that nothing was too much trouble. Now there were ups and downs, however the downs were managed very well with great communications. I would recommend using Loftplan to anyone.

We have been very happy with the service from start to finish from LoftPlan.
Throughout the project we were kept up to date and any questions we had were responded to promptly.
The LoftPlan team were always professional and we were happy with the quality of work from all tradesman. We were extremely impressed with the carpentry work from Dean.

We had a loft conversion by Loftplan, starting in July 2020.
We choose them because they offered is what we wanted. We consulted with two other companies who were able to offer a conversion, but not exactly what we wanted. Loftplan listened and were able to resolve our design in what was a difficult space.

The initial consultation with Alan was completed quickly and an initial plan was completed. We were able to offer our views and the plan took account of this.

The architect visited our premises, worked effeciently and created a plan that we received within 2 weeks.

After agreeing the design work started. Mike and Andy were our initial builders. They kept us informed if what was occurring, timescales and offered ample opportunity for us to make reasonable alterations within the scope of the design. They worked hard, despite the 30° + temperatures! They were amendable, polite and courteous.

During the build everything proceeded at a steady pace. There were no major issues.

Once the build was completed we had a few small snags.
All snags were resolved quickly and without issue.

Overall we are very happy with our choice of Loftplan and would recommend them to anyone considering a loft conversion.

I am writing to thank you and all the staff at Loftplan for the wonderful job that has been accomplished on my home. The company slogan 'Put Life in your Loft' completely sums up the way that I feel about the fabulous fourth bedroom and shower room that has been created in an otherwise wasted space.

It has made my house a far more desirable property which has to be taken into consideration in the future.

We would never have believed that such a major alteration to our roof could have been completed with such little disruption. All your workforce conducted themselves in an exemplary manner and were a pleasure to have around.

From Nic the sales designer, who was knowledgeable and very responsive to our questions, Kyle the Architect, and Nicola and the girls in the office who were so polite and helpful.

Special thanks to Warren and Jordan who worked so hard on the first phase of the build , and Mark who crafted our oak and glass stairs so beautifully and whose attention to detail is excellent.

Supervisors Bob and Kevin were always willing to answer questions and sort out any snags as they arose, utilising their many years of knowledge and experience.

We found the whole thing far less stressful than we had expected with the finished results exceeding what we had pictured.

It is clear if you choose the right firm you get the best job!

We are more than happy with the works carried out on our loft conversion. LoftPlan from beginning to end kept us informed with the progress and advised where necessary to make adjustments to the initial drawings. The fitters led by Bob and Kevin are of a very high standard and albeit the whole team were very good, we would like to highlight Craig and Neil as they carried out most of the initial build. We had our loft conversion by Loftplan and were extremely pleased with the whole process. Knowledgeable but not at all pushy sales people, helpful and friendly installation team, and responsive, efficient office staff. We were pleasantly surprised by how the different trades would go out of their way to pick up any extra little bits and pieces that needed doing.

We were originally going to use tradesmen we knew and manage our loft conversion ourselves but after coming up against obstacles -our house is old with a small roof space in a conservation area and the house itself deemed of particular interest. There had been a lot of tutting/shaking of heads and general sense of negativity. We turned to Loft plan who came recommended. (We used them for structural only)
It was clear from the start they were a professional company. The office ladies were extremely helpful and once work began we continued to be impressed. The lads (Grant and Brandon) arrived and the loft room soon started taking shape, they worked quickly, efficiently, neat and tidy, answering all our many questions and full of enthusiasm for their work and the company they work for, we were actually sorry to see them move on! But then Steve and Craig the roofers arrived and along with them Steve and Dave to finish of floor and stairs
Bob was on hand throughout the process and did an amazing job utilising the roof space to give us the maximum area.
The whole experience was completely stressed free and from start to finish we were extremely happy with the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
The only negative was we didn't go to them earlier.

We quickly decided Loft Plan was the perfect fit for us and have ended up with two large rooms and a design that complements our house in a way I hadn’t thought of.

We anticipated the build to be disruptive, but we could not have been more wrong! From our initial meeting with David, to scaffolders, fitters, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and the supervisors who oversaw everything were all professional, unintrusive and everything ran smoothly with great communication. We would like to pay particular credit to the main fitters Dean and Lee, who made the whole experience a pleasure. Their work ethic is outstanding, and nothing was too much trouble.

If you are considering a loft conversion, we would highly recommend Loft Plan.

Recently used loftplan in the conversion of our loft to two bedrooms. The whole project was carried out quickly and efficiently with small changes being allowed during the build if an improvement on the initial plan was found. All trades involved came and completed work efficiently to a high standard. Special mention to Grant and Brandon who were involved in the initial part of the build and helped us make decisions required with their experience. Nicola was always available to help with questions making the whole thing easy for us as customers.

The quality of the workmanship was first class - from first fix & build team through to second fix. Supervisors always responded to questions and were flexible throughout in accommodating slight changes. Where we had minor issues that cropped up - there was always a quick response meaning we didn't need to worry and could trust LoftPlan to help fix. Very pleased with the end result!

Loftplan carried out a large loft extension to our property to a very high quality. We have recently experienced some maintenance issues that Loftplan quickly reacted to when we called them, being very supportive in helping resolves these issues. Big thank you to Steve and David Bernasconi!
