Never ever use this company! Absolute scammers. Quoted £49 on the phone. Bloke turned up and tried charging me nearly £200 for a ‘service fee’. I didn’t state on the phone that it was an emergency job and he turned up thinking it was and tried to make me pay all that money.

Wish I looked at reviews before booking! Feel like have been taken advantage of. Charged to service mechanism then to put in a new lock in!

Jammed Doorlock. Locksmith arrived on time and took his callout fee immediately. He then said he would go away and come back 40 mins later (after we had got into the property), as it would be much easier to fix from the inside.

He never returned and I had to call many times before he would answer. He then said he was busy and would return the following day. No show again and after more chasing he said he could return only late at night.

I therefore went to another, local locksmith instead - who was excellent.

Called was quoted £60 inc vat only to be told there would be parts and Labour to added to that.
Promptly told him to f off ended up all I needed to do was to move where the lock goes in.

Called locksmith.co.uk today as was locked out the house. I was told a lock smith would turn up and let us in at a cost of £49 plus VAT, fine. Lock smith turns up and says can’t get in without drilling the lock, then says it’s £185 plus VAT. Please note a previous time we was locked out from this same door a lock smith opened the door, no drilling, and the reason for getting a locksmith was to avoid any damage, I also explained I was quoted £49 on the phone in which he said they are just desk people and don’t know anything. As the day was getting on I didn’t have much choice but to go ahead and have the locked drill, however had I know I was going to be put in this situation by this company in advance I would go just drilled it out myself, as it’s a 10. Anyway he’s drills the lock fits new barrel and then says that £320 plus VAT, I said hold on what’s this for now? and explained again I was quoted £49 over the phone to then £185 from you and now to £320, in which he replied £185 was for just drilling the the lock, it’s now £320 plus VAT as I have fitted a new lock. I said take the lock out with absolute frustration and swallowed the scam of £185, then I went and got a barrel lock at screwfix for £17 and fitted it in 2 minutes.
Disgusting company!

TERRIBLE do not use them. If only no stars were an option. Quoted £25 for lock and £49+VAT for labour. Fitted a new lock and charged us £380 without advising us of the price before changing it. Strongly advise not to use.

We contacted this company after finding their website online. They charged us £838 to change a lock, they damaged our door and door frame in the process. They used intimidation and threatening behaviour to ensure we paid. We where invoiced from a company called general services, so we left a review on trustpilot for general services before releasing that this business has multiple phone numbers and websites, but is in fact the same company carrying out the same scam! So I am also leaving a review here. Please if you have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this business, contact trading standards!

Do not trust they do turn up rip you off, they told me they have a parts on there vehicles however turns up with a screw driver and no parts!!!! What's the point!!

The worst experience ever. They quoted £25 for locks and £49+VAT for labour only for the operative to get there to tell me that the lock he has is £150. When I said I couldn’t pay, he said the cheapest lock is £69, told him that wasn’t what was agreed on the phone and that the agreed price was £25, he then started to threaten me to pay the cancellation fee which I told him was never mentioned to me plus they are the ones trying to fleece me. Called the office to report him, but the person on the phone told me to “f off” and called me a cheap f

I had to call 999 to report for fear of safety.

Zero stars if I could. Dreadful experience. At no point was I informed of any callout fees even despite asking for the fees when calling them. I was told £49 to unlock my door and they stated possibly more if it was not an easy unlock. When the “locksmith” got here he did not appear to be of a professional standard as any time I’ve ever seen a locksmith they are dressed in work clothes. This man just looked like a regular guy pulled up in a new Mercedes and already I got a weird vibe from him upon seeing him. He then looked at my lock and said he will need to take it off and change it and told me £150 when are the queried £150 he said that’s just to take off the lock you then need to replace the lock and there’s other fees like I said I already had weird vibes and the fees kept increasing so I said no don’t worry as he kept pressuring saying he has another client. He then told me I need to pay him £49. I asked for what he said for a callout fee. I stated I was not informed of a callout fee and I was only informed of how much it would be to get into the lock I specifically requested on the phone how much all of this would have been And I asked on two different occasions on two different phone calls and nobody mentioned a callout fee. I told him I will not pay that and he said to call the company so I said I will and when I called them, he very sternly said hang up the phone. He then tried to intimidate me and was stood in the way of my only exit the whole time and try to belittle me and was being very condescending and when he realised I wasn’t going to pay him he told me to call the company back. As a lone female I felt very intimidated by his behaviour and the staff on the phone were also very rude and abrupt but I battled my corner and told them I will not be paying because I specifically asked two times for the fees and you never stated this to which they slammed the phone down after telling me don’t pay him and we will give your number out to all the locksmiths in London so they won’t come to you. The whole experience was horrible and I felt intimidated from the start. Do not trust them.

DO NOT USE!! I called this company to open a simple front door for my tenant (old lady), no drilling or lock changes needed. They quoted me £49 on the phone and arrive around 30mins later and charge my tenant £300. AVOID AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!

DO NOT USE! I wish i could give them no stars. They use fake reviews on their website to lure you in. It's all rubbish. They quoted us £300 then they charged us £1000 for a simple lock, including £300 to open the door which took less than a minute by crowbar. They lie and try to ignore you when you complain. I know locksmiths are not regulated in regards to what they can charge but this is a joke. Nobody in this industry should be charging £600 per hour.

Agreed for 49£ on the phone and charged 230£ at the end

We had an absolutely terrible experience with this locksmith company, and I feel compelled to warn others. What should have been a straightforward callout turned into a distressing and damaging ordeal for both myself and my staff.

We initially agreed on a simple £39 fee to have a lock removed. Instead, the man drilled straight through the front of our electronic touchscreen lock - completely destroying the device. This wasn't a mechanical lock; it was a high-tech unit, and instead of taking the time or care to handle it correctly, he wrecked it within minutes. To make matters worse, he seriously damaged the door itself in the process, which will now require expensive repairs in addition to replacing the lock (quoted at £90 alone).

Despite already being paid £40, the locksmith returned to our premises aggressively demanding an additional £200 in cash, which we simply didn’t have. When we refused, he threatened to destroy our front door entirely, all of this happened in front of our staff, who were understandably shaken by his behaviour. We are fortunate to have CCTV and video/photo evidence of the entire incident.

I had to report the matter to Kent Police as the situation escalated, due to both property damage and threatening behaviour.

I am currently undergoing treatment for cancer and am not on-site regularly, which made this ordeal even more distressing. It's incredibly upsetting to know that rogue traders like this are out there preying on vulnerable people and small businesses with such aggressive and unethical conduct.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
They are not only unskilled and dishonest, but also threatening and completely unprofessional. I strongly advise anyone considering them to look elsewhere for a legitimate and ethical locksmith service.

Asked for pricing. When they arrived they wanted £49 more than agreed, since they added a call out fee which was not mentioned when the price was agreed. They arrived around 30 mins late. The guy who did the job was pleasant and got it done quickly
