Extremely disappointed
Sold a tampered bottle for full price
I recently placed my first order with Lochsofwhisky for a premium bottle, but it arrived with the seal already broken. When I reported this, I was told they couldn't replace it because it was out of stock. Their "solution" was to offer a 10% refund.
I find this completely unacceptable. I paid full price for a brand-new, sealed product, and receiving an opened bottle feels like a breach of trust. A small discount doesn't make up for the fact that the integrity of the whisky is now in question. I feel cheated and won't be shopping here again.

Thank you for your review — we’re sorry to hear that your first experience with us has left you disappointed.
When you contacted us, we immediately reviewed the issue and asked for photos so we could assess the condition of the bottle and seal. Once received, we acknowledged that the seal appeared damaged.
As this was a limited stock item and no replacement was available, we offered a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill. You confirmed you were happy to keep the bottle and declined the refund, asking us to leave things as they were.
We understand that your preference would have been a replacement with a sealed item, and in normal circumstances that is what we would provide. Unfortunately, due to stock limitations, this was not possible in this case.
If you would like us to revisit this further, please contact us directly and we will be happy to review it again with you.
