I should have looked up this company before I called so I blame myself but what an absolute rip off stay away from this company at all cost.

Bunch of scammers. Run a mile and don’t look back.
I made it clear to them that a lock needs to be cut, and they said £65. I told him it’s a simple job and will take 5 mins with a grinder.
Locksmith comes 30 mins later and said it’s £65+VAT PLUS £45 +VAT call out. Call the number again and he told me to F off and hang up when I called him out for his scammy behaviour.
Looked into them. They are not VAT registered and their company has dissolved on company house.
Job took less than 5mins just to put it into context.

If I could give no stars I would! Wish I’d seen Dan’s review before I booked. Should have known as straight after my email explaining the job in detail to avoid confusion I was phoned by a Romanian number which I did not answer. Quickly followed up by a uk number. Was told £49 call out and £35 labour plus materials. When the guy turned up he started making up prices on the spot which was confusing. Took him 5 minutes to get the door open and then said that will be £179 without a new lock. I refused to pay and he got rude and aggressive. Luckily my husband was here. He tried to justify it by saying it was a Sunday even though I’d explained to the guy who booked it that it wasn’t urgent but if there was no extra charge then fine to come today. Total scam and we paid the £85 just to get him out the house. The website is confusing and made to look like a local family locksmith business. Check carefully!

Completely ripped off
Completely ripped off. Charged £810 for 20 minutes work.
- Not an emergency appointment. Booked in advance.
- No damage to the door
- Simple replacement of lock mechanism
The locksmith was clearly making up the price on the spot and got defensive and slightly aggressive when I called him out on the price.
Really mad at myself for not checking this place first and being stronger on refusing to pay. Hopefully I can save someone else from being ripped off the way that I was.
