We take feedback seriously, but several statements in this review are factually incorrect and need to be clarified.

First, our refund policy is very clear and has remained unchanged for over 8 years. It is publicly posted on our website and applies equally to all customers. The policy specifies that refunds are available for a first-time purchase when the return instructions are followed. It does not provide unlimited repeat refund eligibility.

In this case, our records show that both transactions were placed using the exact same name, exact same email address, and exact same billing information. That means the purchases were processed under the same customer identity in our system. The claim that one purchase was made by a different person does not align with the transaction records.

It is also important to clarify that our policy does not state “one per household,” because that is not the rule. The rule is based on customer purchase history, not household location. All customers are responsible for reviewing and understanding the posted policy before completing a purchase.

These policies exist for a reason. Unfortunately, refund abuse and fraud are extremely common in the supplement industry, particularly for products that are widely used and in high demand. Our policy is designed to protect legitimate customers while also protecting the business from repeat refund misuse.

For the sake of accuracy and transparency for anyone reading this review thread, several important facts should be clarified.

First, despite the claims being made here, the reviewer purchased the product on two separate occasions.

That means the product was purchased again after already having experience with it, which does not align with the claim that the company is “sketchy,” “garbage,” or that the product should be avoided.

Second, the original review simply stated that the product was “very expensive.” In response, we provided context about the pricing so the reviewer — and anyone reading the review — could understand how it compares within the supplement category.

GRIND is $39.99 for 60 servings. If taken once per day, that is a two-month supply, which equals about $0.66 per day.

For comparison, most supplements in the energy / nootropic category:

• Cost $50–$80 per month
• Often require 2–4 capsules per day
• Frequently cost $2–$4 per day or more

From a market standpoint, GRIND is already priced significantly lower than most comparable formulations.

There are also several additional facts about the pricing that are important:

• The price has not been raised in over 8 years, despite major inflation in ingredients, manufacturing, packaging, and shipping.
• We absorb sales tax ourselves rather than adding it to customer orders. That means customers effectively pay less than they normally would if tax were passed through at checkout.
• The current price already reflects roughly a 50% reduction from the typical retail markup structure used in the supplement industry relative to manufacturing cost.

In other words, the price customers see today is already heavily discounted compared to standard industry pricing models.

Another point raised in the review is that the product is only sold on our own website. That is intentional.

Selling through large retail marketplaces like Amazon or through physical retail stores would require major additional markups. Those platforms typically take 20–40% or more of the sale price, and retail stores require their own margin as well.

If GRIND were sold through those channels, the price would have to be significantly higher to cover those fees.

By selling directly through our own website, we eliminate those middlemen and keep the price much lower than it would otherwise be.

After receiving a straightforward explanation of the pricing and market comparison, the reviewer responded with profanity and personal insults directed at customer service, including statements such as:

“I CAN F***ING DO MATH” and other abusive language.

The reviewer later edited their public review to add statements claiming:

• the company is “garbage”
• the company is “sketchy”
• the company has the “worst humans”
• customer service is “condescending” and “ignorant”


We fully understand that every product may not fit every person's budget, and that is completely reasonable.

However:

• A product cannot be manufactured below cost
• A company cannot operate at a loss
• And pricing cannot be dictated by hostile demands or public accusations

As discussed in our emails, the return policy is widely available in 3 places on our website, including on the payment page. It has remained unchanged for over 8 years, and gives all information up front.

If customers are not 100% satisfied with the product, they may return it for a refund of the purchase price in accordance with the posted policy. That is what a 100% satisfaction guarantee means.

Hi Leeanne,

We want to clarify the situation regarding your refund, as there appears to be some confusion.

We have attempted multiple times to issue a refund to your PayPal account. Each attempt has failed because PayPal is returning a notification that the payment method used for the original transaction is closed. You have also confirmed that the card associated with that PayPal account was closed.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to issue a refund to a closed card or inactive funding source. This is a PayPal limitation and not something we can override on our end.

Because of this, we provided you with PayPal resources and recommended opening a case or claim directly with PayPal so they can assist in locating or redirecting the funds using their internal resolution process.

Hi Kelley!

This information is not correct. Your contact with us never involved the request of a refund. We acknowledged that your email regarding usage came during the peak hours of Halloween. This was after business hours and a time in which parents spend time with their children. If that qualifies as being rude, we stand by our commitment to families and their children.

Hi Linda! We initiated the refund as soon as we received the return. After we do that, the refund depends solely on the customer's financial intuition. This can be anywhere from 5-10 business days.
