We booked entertainment for my 21st birthday through ListenOut and couldn’t have been happier with the experience.

The whole process was easy from start to finish, and the band they provided was absolutely brilliant. They created such a great atmosphere and kept everyone entertained all night. So many guests commented on how good they were.

We hired Captain Atlantic for our wedding November 2025. I cannot recommend enough great customer service throughout. Absolutely amazing live performance even my 87 year old grandad was up dancing and was raving about these guys for days. Myself and my husband couldn’t recommend these guys enough fantastic service provided. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future so much so I will be booking as a surprise for husbands 40th Party when the time arrives.

We had a brilliant experience working with James and the band (Captain Atlantic) in the run up to our wedding and on the day itself.
Communication was excellent throughout – really responsive via both email and WhatsApp, and we also had a prep call the week before which was really helpful and reassuring. They were always professional but also very friendly and approachable, happily answering all of our questions (even the ones we thought might be silly!).
During the planning process, they were incredibly helpful with logistics and timings. We decided to add an acoustic set, and their advice on when this would work best in the day was spot on. It also made a big difference that they’d worked at our venue before, as they were able to offer really practical, tailored guidance.
On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly from their side. They were already set up and prepared before we arrived, and we didn’t have to think about anything – the music side of things just happened effortlessly, which took a huge amount of stress away.
They also DJ’d the evening party and did such a great job of reading the room and keeping the dance floor full all night. We had so many guests comment on how good they were, which really says it all.
Overall, they were friendly, professional, and clearly very high-quality musicians. We’d recommend them 100% – in fact, some of our friends have already booked them for their own wedding after seeing them at ours.
A special mention as well for performing our first dance song (“Something Changed” by Pulp) – it was absolutely perfect and such a memorable moment for us.

Working with Listen Out Events has been a great experience as a working musician. It’s well-organised, and gigs are booked countrywide with a wide range of repertoire. It’s an excellent way to meet other musicians and put on a great show for clients. Can’t complain at all.
