Delivery now 5 days late. No response to calls or emails, searching Twitter it would appear they've done this to lots of people, which leads me to believe it is a scam. Don't order from these people, they take your money and do not fulfil their legal obligations. Also, the telephone number is the same for another dodgy outfit, Rushon, if you check. Scam artists.

UPDATE finally got through on chat, it's allegedly being sent out tomorrow. I'll report back and change review if it shows up. I understand with the Coronavirus everything is a bit mad, but the complete lack of communication isn't helping them.

UPDATE UPDATE. It didn't arrive. Now promised tomorrow. I won't hold my breath.
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE. Unsurprisingly, no delivery. I'm now going to attempt to get a refund off of these charlatans. The review saying it isn't a scam must be a relative or something. I'm just glad I didn't spend a lot of money, because I'm guessing a refund will be as impossible as getting your delivery.

LAST UPDATE (hopefully). After an hour of arguing in chat, they reluctantly agreed to a refund. I won't be holding my breath for that either...

I wish I had seen the reviews below as I also had a similar experience. They have been advertised on TimeOut so you think its a reputable company, but be warned. When my delivery didn't come in the 48-72 hours, I went onto chat. They dont respond to phone calls or emails by the way. Given the circumstances I didn't mind a further delay, but the chat was really dodgy, almost automated. When I questioned this I got some strange responses such as "My motto is to help all humans out in hard times hence and I stick to it. I am sure a wise man like you also has same moral values. A business is made up of humans serving humans." Ok - thats not what I expected as a response but good to know. They said that they would mark my order as urgent and I would receive it in 2 days. 2 days passed and I went onto chat again. Lots of time wasted and same responses as before. They ultimately could not commit to the order in the timeframes advertised on their website. I told them that they need to change it as other companies are honest and realistic about when they can deliver. They offered to cancel the order and give a refund. Lets see if that comes through. I am now on to my credit card comapny now to see what we can do as they seemed very dodgy. Terrible if it's the case that they are exploiting people in these difficult times.

2 weeks on and have tried email, phone and online chat. They are still taking orders stating they are delivering but have not honored next day deliveries.
Avoid this site, it seems a con. Spoken to solicitor already, so will be filing against them soon.

Same as the last few reviews, no contact via chat/email/phone. Took £200 order and have not delivered or advised. No customer service at all. Will take to small claims court.

UPDATE: so since my original review Liqroo finally delivered most of my order, there were some missing items and a couple of substitutions. This was not without an awful lot of chasing. They did finally call me back and apologise, I only wish they were more upfront with their customers about lead times, it simply makes customers more irate and puts additional pressure on them as a company. That being said, this isn’t a scam site as I had feared, they are just under water with orders... They really should update their website

Awful. They took money and ran, no delivery, no refund. Avoid.

Only reason they have 1 star is that there’s no provision to leave no stars.
Ordered 2 weeks ago, no answer to numerous emails and phone calls but money gone from my account.
Complete frauds, avoid at all costs!

Ordered on Sunday paid upfront no idea when delivery is occurring but promised up to 72 hours not heard asked for a refuind which they have already taken avoid like the plague

One hour wasted on a Friday night - whilst a great idea the website does not work always.

Checked would deliver instantly to address inside M25 - ordered wine, to then not have instant delivery come up. Customer service initially said, empty your basket and try again. Eventually said the postcode wouldn’t work with their system - amazon has no problem.

No workaround available, in fact agent said couldn’t change routing of drivers for later in the evening - the website promises 60-90 mins delivery - surely this involves rerouting deliveries.

Fix the website - be more solution and customer focused and you may have a great solution. Right now I would not try again.

I think they may be a new small independent supplier and when my delivery failed to arrive over Christmas, I was a little concerned. However having dropped them an email, Kevin from liqroo rang me to explain that one of my beers was subsequently out of stock due to the Xmas rush and they were having difficulty sourcing the same beer quickly. They found me an alternative which I was extremely pleased with and gave me a free bottle of red wine for the inconvenience . It is worth pointing out the Belgium beers, I was trying to source were out of stock with my usual supplier and that was why I initially gave liqroo a try. I will definitely be using them again.

Wanted to buy from a smaller independent company. I love the branding and the website is easy to use. I had my reservations being a fairly new company with no reviews and offer seemed too good to be true, but they didn't disappoint and would definitely use them again.
