Nick Carter was very helpful with ordering a kids motor bike for my grandsons. He explained the time delays and difficulties in obtaining the bike and kept me informed all the way through AND the bike arrived on time!!

Great customer service during sale and after purchase of motorcycle

From the Tiger 900 GT Pro test drive to the collection of my new bike, it was all in the safe hands of Jessica at Lings and I was kept informed. Even got a video of the bike ready for collection (sweet) which caused me to drop everything and head off to the store earlier than expected. All finance options were covered with just a few clicks on a few screens to get it all moving. Follow up calls also made the difference in answering a few important questions. The bike is amazing but just too nice to use in the rain (haha). Well done Jess and Lings. A big Thank You.

I've been a customer at Lings since the late 70s when they had a small shop in Lowestoft. I have bought several motorcycles from them over the years, brand new and second hand, I have even purchased one brand new and one second hand motorcycle from them last season 2020 spending over 13,000, this week I contacted their dealership in Ipswich re a down trade: My Harley Davidson price last year 7.5k, against a Triumph Tiger they had on sale for £5995, the asked for £995 towards the Tiger!! I read it twice I thought they were offering me 995! No they want my bike which retails second hand for 7.5 to 8k and sometimes beyond, and for me to stump up a further 1k!!

So they hope to make 2 to 2.5k on a single transaction? That is thievery! Arfur Daly would be proud, you must take into consideration they are making on the Tiger from the previous transaction.

Lings you would be hard pushed to find a Sportster for 5k, let lone a big twin!

So, my 40+ year customer relationship has been kicked into touch by the greed at Lings. Avoid!

Only reason i've not given 5 stars is the slight time lapse in buying the bike and actually being able to pick it up. Apart from that a good smooth transaction. Peter and Tom were excellent - not pushy - which I liked.

Third bike from Suffolk Triumph, worst experience of all three. Disinterested staff, from reception to sales team and Sales Manager. Would NOT buy again from this location, used to be a really friendly and welcoming dealer, now just a transaction, nothing more.
