The poorest customer service

I was told I would be reimbursed for a rental car by the customer service agent. She and the dealership were never able to connect to each other, which I had to coordinate. The service manager got involved and said I would receive the refund multiple times. I was told 2-3 days. Then after that they denied the claim. This is over a month after I was told multiple times I would be reimbursed and now they can’t do a thing. Poor communication, poor follow up, really poor problem solving, and they can’t tell me how they’re going to fix their service in the future to avoid this problem for others. After purchasing 2 Lincoln’s from them you would have thought loyalty would mean something, but it clearly doesn’t.

I worked with Lincoln Customer Care…

I worked with Lincoln Customer Care regarding a repair issue with my vehicle, and while I appreciate their involvement, the outcome was mixed.

After multiple unsuccessful repair attempts by a dealership, my vehicle still had an incorrect color match. An independent shop confirmed that proper correction required repainting and blending additional panels to restore the vehicle correctly.

Lincoln Customer Care was responsive and did stay engaged throughout the process, which I appreciated. They also contributed financially toward the repair, which helped move things forward.

However, the level of support ultimately did not fully address the situation. The additional repair work was necessary as a direct result of prior unsuccessful attempts, and I was still left coordinating between parties and relying on a third-party shop to step in and help resolve the issue.

In the end, the vehicle was repaired correctly, but it required significant effort on my part to reach that outcome.

I do appreciate Lincoln’s communication and partial support, but I would have expected a more complete resolution given the circumstances.

Thinking of getting a Lincoln, think again!

Lets talk car. Calling Lincoln a luxury car is like calling a Vespa a Harley. The fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired, the dealer prep was wanting and the quality of the material is best illustrated by their cheesy floor mats. and other plastic material. I made the mistake of ordering an accessory afterwards and it was pure junk and I sent it back immediately. I had the car five months and there were already four recalls, some of which they do not have fixes for and some were known or should have been know before the car was leased. They should not be allowed to sell or lease a car when recalls are in place or at a minimum inform the customer beforehand! I recently rode in a friends Ram pick up truck and it was quieter and rode smoother than my Aviator. The features and instruments worked better and easier!

Calling Lincoln's Customer Service is like saying Charlie Manson was a family man, it is a joke! For one thing Lincoln seems to be run by a lot of women or foreigners and perhaps Woke is at play, may explain why they put mud flaps in the front of the wheel wells. I wrote to the President of Lincoln, Ford and Lincoln Financial Services and never received a response. The employee customer people in mom's basement playing solitaire and pretending to take notes to escalate it up the chain which never happens. I did receive two perfunctory responses where they disavow having anything to do with Lincoln. Do not provide a surname, telephone number or email and their firsts are probably made up anyway. Perhaps it is an indication of how many complaints they get. If you want to spend hundred grand or more for a "black label", their pretend real luxury car, which is a dressed up Explorer maybe you get better service.
They don't provide an owner's manual, you have to download their 580 page manual from their website. The manual was obviously written by geeks and lawyers for idiots, guess they know who buys their cars. It could be done in a hundred, nice glossy pages by any normal person or car guy and given out with the car and would be useful.
I suggest that if you are looking for real customer service, go with any foreign auto manufacturer like Lexus, Toyota, Honda (got better service with our CRV) Mazda or even Hyundai or Kia. I think Ford is one of only two domestic auto manufactures left and soon there may just be one !

I bought the 2023 Lincoln Navigator…

I bought the 2023 Lincoln Navigator Reserve L two months ago at Highland Park Ford thinking it’s a premium car but unfortunately I have been going back to the dealership every week. This Car has become my worst nightmare. Every week it breaks down and there’s some new problem.
The first day I bought the car the wheels were shaking, within two weeks the screen stopped working. On top of that, the check engine light and power train light came on. The dealership was the least helpful, they make you wait for the part and don’t even give you the loaner. I didn’t know this is what you get when you spend 100k on a car, you get this trashy Car and worst customer service.
