great delivery experience

I got Liffner suede bucket bag as a present for my birthday and honestly I am blown away by the quality, the premium look and usability, also had a great delivery experience. Highly recommended

bought a suede bucket bag from Liffner…and I love it

bought a suede bucket bag from Liffner and have been very happy with it. The suede feels very soft and also looks really nice I was also relieved that the color did not transfer onto my trench coat. Shipping was faster than I expected considering it came from Sweden. One thing to note is the delivery method, since Fedex may leave it without a signature. I chose DHL and had no problems. Very smooth experience overall

My go to for everyday bags and tjänar little extra something! Perfectly made design, high quality at a fair price! I have a collection Liffner bags by now and will keep investing in more of them!

I honestly love my Liffner bags

I honestly love my Liffner bags, both my suede tote and the smaller suede shoulder bag with the macaroni detail. The design feels timeless but still very current, and the suede has held up beautifully even though I use them almost every day. The tote fits all my essentials when commuting to and from work or the gym, and I often use it as a carry-on when travelling too (it’s easily big enough for a weekend).

I’m obsessed with Liffner

I’m obsessed with Liffner. I have two bags from them, the craftsmanship is exceptional and you can truly feel the quality of the material.
Their timeless design and elegance make these bags a forever staple in my wardrobe

I have two Liffner bags and love them

I have two Liffner bags and just love both of them. Wore them a lot and I’m totally satisfied with the quality. I’m always getting compliments, plus they are super comfortable. The quality of leather is very high level. So I just love, love, love them!

Very steep costs for bad quality

Ordered a bag and returned it almost immediately. Had to pay (1) €20 in shipping costs to receive the bag from Liffner; (2) £100 customs duties to receive the bag and (2) a €30 return fee charged by Liffner to return it. Will never order from this company again.

We completely understand how frustrating unexpected costs can feel. For international orders, customs duties and taxes are determined by local authorities and are unfortunately outside of our control. These charges are communicated in our terms and conditions, but we understand they can still come as an unwelcome surprise.

Regarding the return fee, this is in place to help cover part of the costs involved in the return process, such as shipping, handling, and quality control once the item is received back at our warehouse. As a small independent brand, we do our best to keep our policies as fair and transparent as possible while covering these necessary costs and these terms are outlined in our tearms and conditions.

That said, we’re genuinely sorry that your experience didn’t meet expectations, and we appreciate you giving us a try. High end expensive bags - horrible customer service / rip off

High end expensive bags, but if you want to return an item be warned they don't make it easy.
First you have to request a return and then an email get sent through. After filling in several onine forms first to get the email and then the refund label, they force you to return via UPS and there are no drop offs for them local to me and so I had to send via post. They treaten to not give you a refund if you don't use UPS.
They charge you 30 euro's to return / refund when the actual cost of a tracked return from the UK to Sweden is £18.
Its a total rip off - unbelieveable for a 'high end brand' where the bag cost over £500.
UPDATE 03 03 2025
I have now received a Fed Ex Tax and Customs bill for the original delivery for £120 - DO NOT ORDER FROM LIFFNER AS YOU WILL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL £120 IMPORT TAX THAT THEY WILL NOT WORN YOU ABOUT.
Also how can any company think it is reasonable to confirm that when they receive the return in their warehouse, although it ha sbeen delivered to the right address that they will return it because you didn't use their courier??? No doubt resulting in another £120 fedex charge no-doubt!!!!!!!! It just gets worse and worse!!!!

Hi Ben,

We are sorry to hear your experience with our return process wasn’t pleasant.
When you are placing an order on our website you agree to our terms and policies which can be found here https://liffner.co/pages/customer-care.
Additionally, the return policy is also shown in our return form.
As we explained, we are not the ones denying returns if these are not sent via UPS, but the Swedish Customs authorities. It’s critical you use the pre-paid label provided after you fill the return form as it’s the only one way your parcel will make its way back to our warehouse in Sweden. Even in the event the parcel is cleared at customs, it will be delivered to a pick-up point. As it’s the business address you are sending the parcel to, the regular post won’t work as there is no one who can pick your parcel at the post office. Therefore, the parcel will be automatically return to sender after a period of time.

The 30 EUR return fee includes both the pre-paid label and the fee we pay to our warehouse to process your return. Additionally, the return fee is not covering all the expenses associated with your order, but just a small part.

Thank you for the update.
As explained, the customs duties received by FedEx are for your original order. FedEx should have sent this invoice before delivering your parcel, however it seems that it was delayed. Unfortunately, this delay is out of our control as we are not involved in the process.
Due to Brexit, customs duties apply to all orders to the UK, as explained in our policy on our website.

As we explained, returning an order using a return label other than the one provided by us, results in the parcel getting stuck at customs or getting delivered to a pick-up point instead of our warehouse. As informed, your parcel never made it to our warehouse as it was stopped at customs, and therefore the customs authorities will be returning it to sender.
You will not incur extra customs duties, as this parcel is not an original order but only a return.
