I have obtained advances from Libertas on numerous occasions and in every instance, my experience has been outstanding. Libertas has funded the desired amount each and every time, and without delay (typically, from the moment the advance has been requested, the funding has occurred within days). I have found the staff at Libertas to be exceptionally professional, flexible and accommodating. Simply, they are a pleasure to work with. Libertas has been an outstanding resource for our businesses and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any business in need of an advance.

We have been working with Libertas for over two years. We could not imagine working with anyone else. They have been incredible to work with, Libertas was especially understanding and acted as our partner when the Covid-19 shutdown in California took place in March and April, 2020. I have obtained financing with a few funding companies over the years and Libertas, by far, has been the easiest and most transparent company to work with.
When the COVID-19 crisis emerged in March of this year, I noticed an initial decline in sales as the US adjusted to new regulations and precautions. As a result, I was not able to pay on the same schedule. Thankfully, Michael Ward, with Libertas was understanding and able to work out a different payment schedule so that I could continue to pay my employees and serve the needs of my clients. Once business returned to a new normal, I then resumed payments.
What I appreciate the most about Libertas is that Michael is accessible, friendly, and prompt with answers to my questions. If you find your business in need of such financing, I would recommend Libertas in a heartbeat.

Our experience with LIBERTAS,

I worked with Randy Saluck, Libertas CFO, on 2 fundings to get us through a launch of a never-before-imported product introduction from Sweden to the U.S.(~$150k/item). We needed the funds in order to establish the dealership rights and the first shipments. This product, with Randy's assistance, has been an incredible success.

Libertas was remarkably different from any other firms we had previously worked with in this "lending space". We've had dealings with about 6 others. Mr. Saluck was transparent. He told us the "pros and cons" of how the transaction might transpire based on various funding/credit parameters that would come to light as we went through the fairly quick due diligence.

Libertas didn't over promise and switch to "Oh well that sometimes happens...and here's why,...you have to understand..." which all the previous 6 did over the course of 4 years during our start-up, without exception. Frankly, I was stunned and waited for the rates, terms, etc. to change at the last minute. They didn't.

The Libertas staff was pleasant and professional. Randy was always; available, responsive, professional and reasonable. We got the funds we requested, when we expected them, and at a rate and term better than originally discussed. Randy explained that this wouldn't always happen...and why. Hey, I was happy it happened even once! This was completely opposite from my expectations. The original rates considered were fairly "market rate" tolerable. The final rates left us with a feeling of trust that I have never experienced in this lending market.

As I mentioned, we went back a second time for funding, and the rates/terms were slight friendlier the second time. Randy said this could happen after the relationship was established. It did - again I was surprised.

Mr. Saluck seems to be introducing - in the American spirit - a new innovative way to do business in this market. In this case, introducing integrity into an arena where it is a scarce commodity.
