Laura is a brilliant physio. I had quite major ankle surgery in recent months and my recovery was made quicker and better because of the care I received from her. Would always recommend her and the Lewin Clinic!

Couldn't be more thankful for Laura. I had a slight tear to my hamstring weeks prior to a major sports event. I was provided with all the necessary things to do to boost my recovery and successfully participated in my event feeling as good as new. Will and would always recommending others in a similar situation.

A first class Clinic with really good communication and booking. Laura sorted out my foot injury brilliantly, extremely professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend this company and should the need arise they would be the top of my list for further treatment.

I always know at my 1st apt with Gary that I will find out what the issue is. After having a few knee injuries recently I booked in to get it looked at and before the end of that week a scan confirmed Gary's diagnosis was right. He gives me exercises and a plan to manage the injury, even if it is a problem I have to manage and won't completely go away. I am now back doing all the exercise I was before but with the knowledge of how to tailor this into my routine that doesn't cause me pain. I recommend Gary to everyone.

I have had help from Gary for a couple of years now and all I can say is that he has been excellent.

Laura did research on my condition before my initial appointment so she knew how best to help me. She has kept me physically mobile and helped to ease my pain. She listens and advises never disappointed in me if I haven’t done my exercises. Laura has been such a big support to me through my continuous painful journey.

I had reconstructive surgery on my ACL, and went to the Lewin Clinic for my post-op recovery. I met Colin for an assessment, where I was immediately put at ease by his clear wealth of experience and understanding of my injury. The assessment did not feel complicated or painful, considering it was a few days post surgery, and was in-depth and comprehensive. Every action and piece of advice was backed with detailed knowledge so I truly understood why I was doing things, and how we could progress.

Colin explained a clear protocol for my recovery, what we would target, how I should try and get there, and adapted the program for my personal circumstances. He takes a holistic approach to recovery and rehabilitation, and trusted me to progress independently, in line with his guidance. Our appointments were not too often or just for the sake of having them - they were structured for specific milestones and I was given the tools to progress my recovery as I saw fit, instead of being reliant on Colin for every session or individual sub-phase of my protocol.

He considered my needs and recovery aims from early on, to tailor my progress towards my targets. I had input into the sessions that I would be doing, what I enjoyed, what equipment I had available, etc. Just over a year after having surgery and not being able to weight bear, I have just been skiing for a week and my knee feels strong and stable, way more than I ever thought I could achieve. I look forward to playing rugby again soon.

I have been to probably 10 different physios for various sports injuries over the years now, and Colin and The Lewin Clinic are head and shoulders above the rest. So much so, I won't go to another clinic, even now I've relocated and it takes me a few hours to drive there. The physios allocated to me by my local trust actually used outdated protocols which would have inhibited my recovery, which I would've followed, had it not been for Colin's insight and knowledge in the area, and providing the latest research and evidence for the protocol.

I was also seen by other practitioners at The Lewin Clinic when Colin wasn't available and the whole team are excellent. They have excellent facilities in the clinic, with state of the art testing, and great gym equipment.

In summary - I have had an excellent recovery from a significant sporting injury which could've inhibited me for life. Colin's best in field treatment had an exceptional impact on how well I recovered, while making it enjoyable and achievable.

I was treated by Jade at the Lewin clinic and she was very knowledgeable and really nice. Easy to talk to and understood my concerns. I was given various physical exercises to do and also treated with shockwave therapy which my doctor didn’t even inform me about. The whole staff members at the clinic were friendly and appointments were easily available

From the reception team, through to my treatment by Laura, i found the whole experience of Physio therapy to be a welcome experience, very friendly and professional team who dealt with my issues. Always happy to either rearrange an appointment or squeeze me as and when needed. Would defiantly recommend this practise & Laura, i do not miss the pain but miss our conversations during the physio.

I am lucky enough not to need frequent nor regular treatment. My problems are as a result of forgetting advancing years and trying to to do things in ways that I used to.
When I do make such a mistake I find that I can arrange an appointment with Laura pretty quickly. She is able to identify the problem, deal with it and suggest a programme of remedial exercises.

Colin helped me from start to finish with my Acl injury and was fantastic. Identified, operation and rehab back to full fitness, would recommend to anyone.

Took my gymnast daughter to see Gary after being recommended by a friend, and he was so knowledgeable about the growing pains my daughter was suffering from. Gave us a strengthening plan to slowly build up the muscles whilst resting from impact disciplines, keeping her busy in body and mind whilst her injury recovered. Highly recommend. He completely put our minds at ease and got my daughter back in the gym, pain free in no time.
Can't speak highly enough of him and his practice.

Fantastic Experience.

The Lewin Clinic was fantastic the whole way through my injury and physio. They made sure that i had regular appointments in place and emailed me the other day to make sure i was doing ok post injury. Everyone, from reception staff to the physios are a pleasure to deal with and could not be more helpful. Going forward if i occur any more injuries I wouldn't attend anywhere else but the Lewin Clinic. :)

Upper and lower back pain all gone. I was suffering from upper and lower back pain which I developed by sitting at my desk at home and office all day for extended periods due to work, and was made worse during covid times. Laura did an amazing job helping me get rid of the pain through manual techniques plus gave me sufficient guidance and exercises to self manage any repeat occurences at home. Highly recommended

I highly recommend the Lewin Clinic, especially Gary Lewin, for anyone in need of physiotherapy. Gary helped me with my knee rehabilitation, and his expertise and professionalism were outstanding throughout the process. He is incredibly knowledgeable and tailored the treatment to my specific needs, which made a huge difference in my recovery.

Colin was etremely effective at supporting my recovery following back surgery. He has a manner that inspires confidence and gave me a routine that addressed the issues I had. He also seemed to genuinely care about my well being and was upfront when he thought my recovery was sufficiently complete that my sessions could come to an end. Thank you!

We were recommended to the Lewin clinic after my 13 year old daughter suffered an ongoing lower back injury playing football last season. After seeing numerous physio’s, chiropractor and our GP to try and find out the problem, it was such a relief to get an appointment with Gary Lewin who knew pretty much immediately what the problem
was. He quickly addressed the issue, was extremely knowledgable, hands on, and was able to treat the injury and provide us with a specific ongoing strengthening excercise plan to prevent the situation arising again.
Gary was really warm and friendly, but also firm which was needed as my daughter wasn’t keen to stop playing football to recover.
Overall a fabulous experience and I would have absolutely no hesitation going to The Lewin Clinic again in the future or indeed recommending to anyone else.
