We are the Leonidas Belgian Chocolates Official UK Retailer, since 2018. As a chocolate shop in Brighton, we have one of the largest selections of pralines freshly delivered weekly from the Leonidas factory in Brussels. All our Leonidas chocolates are stored in our climate-controlled environment. All boxes are hand packed at our chocolate store in Brighton and can be customised. We are located only 2 minutes walking distance from the Brighton Train Station.

A bit disappointed
Some chocolates I ordered were out of stock. You should have contacted me to advise which replacements were available rather than deciding on the replacements yourselves. Your apology was a tiny square of chocolate. That’s really mean.
The package in transit was not traceable.

We’re very sorry to hear you were disappointed with the substitutions in your order. Due to the freshness of our chocolates, which are delivered weekly, certain items can sell out quickly, especially during busy periods. In such cases, before we’re able to update the website stock, our team tries to fulfil orders by increasing the quantity of similar items already selected by the customer. Many of our regular customers leave specific instructions in the checkout note section (e.g. “replace with…”, “don’t replace”, or “wait until in stock”) to help guide our team — and we always do our best to follow those preferences.
Unfortunately, it’s not always possible to call every customer during high-volume times, but we completely understand your frustration, and we sincerely apologise if the substitution didn’t meet your expectations.
Regarding the small chocolate piece you received — it wasn’t meant as an apology, but rather a complimentary treat we include with every order as a small gesture of appreciation.
As for the tracking, all Royal Mail orders are dispatched with a tracking number, which was also shared with your order. If there were any issues accessing it, we’re happy to assist further.

Choose your own chocolate box. There was quite a few chocolates out off stock so they put alternative in which I wasn’t really happy with ☹️. But still delicious as always.

I ordered 3 boxes self pick chocolate
I ordered 3 boxes self pick chocolate, they use different color ribbon for the boxes and have a note to let me know which chocolate in which box. The packing is very nice. I can feel they care about the cusotmer. The chocolate is fresh and delicious. I want to order again.

What a wonderful experience we have had…
What a wonderful experience we have had at Leonidas Brighton.
My husband was on a mission to buy me a lovely present from my favourite chocolatiers, Leonidas. We were delighted to see that they had plenty of products left and were one of very few companies that had bothered to make sure there was plenty of supplies. After much deliberation we settled on presents for me(!) and were delighted to see that we could click and collect at our local store within an hour!
And sure enough we received prompt notification that the items were ready and available to be picked up.
We called twice as the first time we were panicked because we didn’t know what time my husband was back to pick it up and the phone was answered efficiently with a very polite man who assured me that they were open late to accommodate a last minute rush which I thought was fantastic on Good Friday to do that.
We then had to phone again as my husband knew he couldn’t get back in time and despite being obviously very busy in the background the phone was answered efficiently and we could hear customers being greeted warmly in the background. They assured us that the presents would be ready and still there the next day to pick up at our convenience.
When my husband went into the store he said he was greeted in a very warm and friendly manner and what a pleasant experience it was shopping there.
So we would like to congratulate and thank the team at Leonidas Brighton for a fantastic experience both on the phone and in the shop, they did an amazing job at what I am sure was a very busy and pressured time with great customer service and attitude.
And to Leonidas for the most amazing chocolates in my Easter egg box!

Although the chocolates were…
Although the chocolates were outstanding, I believe that the labelling should say and show that the enclosed chocolates are gluten free. It is not good just writing on the label “Gluten free” on a generic label which shows gluten containing ingredients. I called your store and was told that the selection was gluten free and that the selection was from your counter display. It’s bad enough that retailers and manufacturers put generic notices on products saying “May contain” or manufactured in an environment likely to contain gluten due to manufacturing products that contain cereals containing gluten. I think you need to research the effects gluten has on someone who is a celiac and see how ill they become in a very short period of time.

As excellent as ever
I used to get these chocolates as a special treat when I was young. Recently discovered they deliver, so I ordered some (and then some more…) and much to my delight, they taste exactly as amazing as I remember them, which sadly can’t be said for most of our childhood favourites. Definitely my favourite chocolates of all time
