I wasn’t happy with the service I received.

I’ve unsubscribed from their emails several times, no one takes any notice and I still receive their marketing- so I’ve now posted this poor review.

After 30 years of profound hearing loss and trying several hearing aids, Katy Waterman at Leightons hearing was so patient and professional to guide me to hearing aids that worked with my case. I cannot commend her guidance & care enough.

The level of service I received at Leightons was far greater than I ever expected. When my all important spectacles were broken they returned them to the branch of Leightons where they were first bought. They were then returned to the manufacturers in Denmark, repaired and sent back to me all free of charge and in a short period of time. Excellent service!

I had my hearing review and only a small adjustment was needed have now received a fresh supply of batteries etc. My appointment made to co-inside with my sight test. Really very pleased to have new specks. The Walter & Herbert frame plus high refractive lenses.
Good covid preventative measures in place. Well done

Always exceptional service and attention to detail. I have a strong prescription on my eyes. Have been coming here for years, all staff excellent.

Just had my sunglasses repaired and adjusted. Very pleasant staff and efficiently dealt with. Very pleased to have them back. Will visit again when I need another pair.

I have been a customer of leightons for many years and have never been disappointed. The eye exams are very thorough also the staff are extremely helpful. I did once go to a large popular well know place but the quality of frames and lenses are not the same. They do not force new spectacles on you at leightons, my last frame was bought in the sale and i have just had them re glazed as they are still in good condition

I have used Leightons in Poole for nearly 20 years and the quality of the service and eye examinations is first class. They invest in the latest technology and all the staff are highly knowledgeable efficient and pleasant. I certainly wouldn't go anywhere else for my eye care.

Came in for an eye test last week and felt nothing but welcomed. Thank you to all staff, but especially the young blonde girl who performed Oct scan on my eyes. She helped me with nothing but professionalism and kindness, explaining everything and answered all my questions (even asked me about my own day, which felt made the whole experience much more enjoyable) Also allowed my wife to sit in the waiting area even with all the COVID-19 restrictions which we were very grateful for. Just wish I caught her name to give her a full thank you. Well done Poole for excellent service!

Leightons branch at Poole provided me with an excellent service in selecting and fitting a new hearing aid. I would particularly commend Katy Waterman, Audiologist, who used her expertise to recommend the best aid for my hearing loss and went about the fitting and tuning process with care and re-assurance. She was friendly and professional throughout, as were all the staff.

I have remained with Leightons Poole for nearly 25 years. For the last 10 years i have had dedicated support and care for my eyes, including an emergency referral a few years ago for an eye problem. They know me and look after me going the extra mile when needed, for example when i run short of contact lenses they will always send out a couple of extra pairs to see me through without charge.

Having never needed glasses before. I booked in for an Eye test. This was very thorough and as a result the optician told me that my eye sight wasn't bad but I was slightly short sighted. She also said that I would benefit slightly with reading lenses as it wouldn't be a strain reading. I was recommended very focal lenses and invited to choose a pair of frames. I was charged over £600 for one pair and collected them a week later. Since then, everyone I have met who wears spectacles has told me that that price I paid was extortionate. Not complaining about service but now I have realised what the average price is for these specific set of spectacles, I can't help feeling as though I've been ripped off.

Its the people that make all the difference, friendly and reassuring, calm professionalism, makes you feel your in safe hands.

Great service all round from eye test through to picking up my new glasses. All covid precautions, in place.

I have been going to a Leightons branch for glasses and contact lenses for decades starting in Basingstoke and then Farnham. Since moving to the area 5 years ago I have been looked after by Keith at Poole. I have been totally happy with the professionalism and care that I have received throughout and would thoroughly recommend Leightons.

All done in a friendly, efficient and most importantly safe way.
