Really pleased with the staff in Alton
Really pleased with the staff in Alton. I was reassured during my test about my vision. The shop has the best selection of frames in town. I did check others to see if I was missing anything ...but I was not. During the dispense of specs I was listened to and offered a few different options that I felt was tailored for my needs. I love that all staff take their time with you,which is why I trust and recommend Leightons Opticians...also enjoyed the new style hearing test. I did have concerns about my vision when I arrived but by time I left I had been reassured. Looking forward to collection both new pairs of specs for clearer vision. Thank you

Leightons Alton Branch
I’ve been a client of the Alton Branch of Leightons for approx. 20 years and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
They offer a professional and friendly service. The staff are always welcoming and courteous.
I also like the fact that there is continuity in that I see the same reception, optometry and other staff each time I have an appointment. They truly offer a five star service ⭐

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service, simple on-line booking, fast and efficient process of having both eye and hearing tests. Slightly more expensive than my previous opticians but far more professional and happy with the products supplied so far.

Eye examination
A good level of service and follow up from the team. I can only recommend. The price point is slightly higher, but the service is great.

Leighton’s Alton Hampshire
Alton, Hampshire branch - Excellent customer service from the moment I booked the appointment until I received my glasses. Lucy (reception & customer service) booked appointment and was clear with what I was required to bring with me. She conducted the initial tests throughly and with confidence. Sukhdeep the optician was very patient, informative and clear, he reassured me and explained what he was doing and why at all stages. He was very professional. After Lucy help choose suitable frames that I was very happy with, Lewis ensured they fitted correctly, making adjustments as necessary. Lewis was also very helpful, informative about products (glass coatings) and spoke politely and calmly throughout. I did not feel under any pressure to buy products. Everyone was very professional and the atmosphere in the “shop” was very pleasant, clean, tidy and light. I would highly recommend Leighton’s in Alton, Hampshire to other people.

A great experience
I went to Leightons because I had been experiencing a distortion in my vision and needed it checked prior to seeing my GP. This was my first experience of the company and I am glad I chose them as the eye examination was the most thorough that I have ever had, utilising state of the art equipment. The staff were thoroughly professional yet friendly and welcoming. I will certainly be using them in the future and I have no hesitation in recommending the company.
