Richard was friendly and knowledgeable

Richard was friendly and knowledgeable, was able to suggest multiple paths forwards to ensure that I didn't need to discontinue treatment. Was able to explain at length what I was required to do, and what the next steps were.

This is the most involved Leger has been in my treatment so far and Richard has really helped me understand the process better.

Leger prescribed me testosterone in…

Leger prescribed me testosterone in glass ampoules even though each ampoule contained more than a single dose. That immediately created a practical and sterility problem, because once a glass ampoule is opened it is not a normal reusable multi-dose container. Despite that, when I raised the issue, I was effectively told that if I wanted to manage the medication properly I would need to buy separate multi-use vials / extra consumables myself.

That is the part I found unacceptable. If the clinic intended the medication to be used across multiple doses, then the necessary vials, equipment and clear instructions should have been provided from the start, not treated later as an optional extra that I had to pay for.

What made this worse was the blood test issue. While the ampoule dispute was still ongoing, Leger asked me to pay for a blood test. I did so, only to then be told that because my membership was inactive they would not review the results. I also understand that Leger’s policy is that blood tests must go through their own company rather than using outside blood tests, which means extra cost again. So from my perspective, I was being asked to keep paying more while the original medication supply issue remained unresolved.

I went through their complaints process and got nowhere. The clinic maintained that the medication was “clinically appropriate and usable as supplied,” refused any refund, credit or replacement, and then closed the complaint as their final response. They were polite in tone, but the substance of the response was poor.

My overall experience was of a clinic that was quick to charge, quick to rely on policy, and unwilling to take responsibility when its own supply format created an obvious problem. When things go smoothly, this may not matter. When something goes wrong, my experience was that the answer was more fees, more conditions, and no meaningful resolution.

I would not trust them to handle problems fairly once they already have your money.

We would like to clarify a few points for transparency. The medication supplied in glass ampoules is clinically appropriate and widely used. There are a number of recognised administration techniques, some of which may involve additional consumables depending on individual preference. These are not universally required and therefore are not routinely included as part of standard provision.

With regards to blood testing, tests arranged through Leger as part of membership include clinical review and follow-up. When membership is inactive, we are unable to provide clinical interpretation, as this forms part of the subscribed service. If there is an outstanding refund please let us know. 

We understand that this was a frustrating experience for you, and while we appreciate your comments on our communication, we do maintain that your concerns were fully reviewed through our complaints process and a final response was provided in line with our policies.

Service has gone down hill since " take…

Service has gone down hill since " take over " im getting bombarded with " rate our service " emails just got an email asking to request a prescription so I filled it out then got a response from someone else saying " why have you requested a prescription? " its turned into a complete shambles . They tried to take my subscription a month early without even telling me , saying they have a new payment company and would be easier for them to take it when it suite them .....

I was fed up with feeling so lethargic…

I was fed up with feeling so lethargic and at times, depressed with low Mood. After a blood test I discovered I had low testosterone levels. I joined Leger and after my Initial consultation with a Dr am on TRT treatment. What a difference this has made ! I am 56 yrs old and now feel like I did in my 30's !
Leger are fully supportive, answer all of ny questions in a quick and efficient manner. Wish I had done it sooner !!!
Their customer care os quite simply amazing !

Great service from the start

I have been using leger for the past 4 months and can not honestly fault there service, the re was no pressure amd good advice from the beginning and good fast answers when you need them regarding symptoms etc, there whole team has been great from the beginning I would definitely recommend as I personally have took well to the treatment and is getting better with time.

They are all about profit now

I have been so disappointed in the service after the sell off to medi checks. When I joined Dr Sauvage told me he wanted to keep prices low for patients so he would ask the NHS to do bloodwork and provide the prescription. Normally the NHS won't provide the prescription but they would do the bloodwork and he was happy to accept that. He said he wouldn't be like other clinics which were all about profit.
He then sold off Leger to medichecks and they now no longer accept bloodwork from anywhere else, they no longer provide prescriptions and only use 1 pharmacy and now I've put in my repeat prescription, I'm now being quizzed about the time frame I'm ordering. I've ordered it in the same time frame for 3 years with no issues or questions! I will be leaving soon , they have went downhill and are all about profit and not about helping people.

I seen many people say the same online, about how unhappy they are with Leger now. Think twice before joining them.

TRT protocol

Following the phone call from Luis at the leger clinic and discussing my medication protocol in detail I was advised a slight change to my protocol with the addition of an aromatise inhibitor. Luis went into detail about the medication and his approach to the conversation was sympathetic which put me at ease. I would highly recommend the Leger clinic which I have been with now for a few years due to the care and attention that I have received from them. If you are considering treatment give them a go, you won’t regret it.
