Superb customer service
I was bought a satchel from this company many years ago, which I have used a lot and is well loved! When I got in touch a few months ago with a problem with the catch, Keith went above and beyond to source the part I needed and to advise on the upkeep of my satchel.
I have since purchased another bag for a friend’s birthday and had it monogrammed. The quality of the item as well as the customer service is second to none and I will continue to use this company in the future.

I bought a second hand Leather Satchel Co. satchel, and emailed the company asking about the type of leather and the care requirements for it to keep it fresh. I very shortly had a reply from one of their Master Craftsmen, Keith, who shared so much valuable information about my bag and its care, and made me aware of the option of having worn-out components replaced.

The customer service I received, having bought a second-hand bag elsewhere and not even yet purchasing directly from them, was incredible, and Im certain that future leather goods will be purchased from this company. It was an all-round lovely experience. Additionally, the bag i purchased is around 10-15 years old according to their estimates, and is in incredibly good condition, so the quality of their products is very good. Im excited to continue being a customer of this brand

I had a wonderful experience with the Leather Satchel Company. I dealt with Keith firstly on instant messenger as I was ordering a satchel back pack but was worried about the security of it and also wanted to add a slip for my laptop to stop it knocking about the bag. Keith was great, asking insightful questions and giving advice - we changed from a zip, which I had initially asked about, to clasps which are hidden under the buckles and are absolutely fantastic and far superior than the zip would have been!

The satchel itself is beautiful, very well made, and is of very good quality. The shoulder straps are great (I went for the thicker one for the crossbody strap because of the weight of it). My only criticism would be that I would have liked the backpack straps longer but this really is nitpicking - if you're quite tall (I'm 6ft and have a long torso) you may want to ask for longer straps when ordering.

Seriously, this is one of the nicest companies I've dealt with; they agreed the work and carried it out expertly. Can't recommend highly enough!

This was my first purchase - a music case. The case is beautiful and ideal for regular use. The quality of finish was excellent. The extra gusset width means that it can hold the additional music needed for a Christmas concert. The level of customer support was first rate. Can't recommend this company more highly.

I had the great pleasure of visiting Keith at his workshop in Liverpool to discuss the handbag I wished to buy. Keith was so kind and patient in helping me decide on the design and choice of leather. Now that I have my new bag I am thrilled to bits with it. The quality is amazing. It should last a lifetime.

This was our third purchase over about 12 years or so. First, a satchel, then a tote bag and now a briefcase. All were perfect purchasing experiences and perfect products which are so obviously made with masterly skill and precise care. The original satchel from years ago still looks like it just came out of the linen bag it arrived in. My wife uses the tote bag to carry fruit and veg from the grocers and she gets asked every-time about it by other shoppers curious to know whence it came: quite a story as we live in regional Queensland,

The difference between customer service and customer care is that when something goes wrong the seller makes it up somehow either by repair, replacement or refund and that is good customer service. Not long after placing my order the owner reached out double checking all the specifics on my order. The bags are hand made from start to finish just for you. There's no outsourcing here. The finished product was beautifully custom crafted and guaranteed to last. I'm so happy with the finished product and I would highly recommend them.

I have had a few items from The Leather Satchel Company over the years and recently adopted a bag during a workshop clearance sale. As always, the delivery was excellent but when I opened my parcel a different bag had stowed away, not the one I’d ordered!
Contacted them and it was instantly sorted out without any trouble, the correct bag dispatched the same day and nothing was too much bother.
They really are a wonderful company, excellent handmade products that you can customise to get your dream bag, brilliant customer service and they truly care about everything they do.
The Leather Satchel Co are the perfect example of why we should support independent, British businesses over mass production in every way.

I'm getting to the age and position where rocking up to a meeting with a backpack is going to set a poor tone. I've decided to go with a briefcase satchel and looked here for inspiration after seeing Keith's and the LSC's work elsewhere while out and about.

As I'm undecided on colours and designs, I ordered some swatches - that can be used as key rings - in 20 different colours.

In the meantime, I bought a Traveller's Set comprising a passport holder and luggage tag in a nice presentation package. I specified four different leather colours in total, as well as personalised initials. I could not be happier with the quality of materials, workmanship, and customer service.

I look forward to engaging very shortly on designing a custom satchel briefcase.
