Leaseplan tried to rip me off for £600 of fake damages. Charge me road tax for a EV car!!!!
Charge me admin fees that were, proven to be incorrect, ask me for a car back 5 months later that you received in mint condition!
Then you send all that to a debt collector!
You so called gesture of goodwill of a £50 M&S voucher, really doesn’t make up for your huge amount of mistakes…..or your lack of continuity!
I KNOW YOUR BEING SOLD AND BROUGHT OUT, but that’s no excuse for this sham of a service and behaviour!!!
Debt collectors….REALLY, when all I wanted was a correct bill to settle…It’s outright shocking!

The worst lease plan company
Absolutely the worst company I have ever come across! I have a LeasePlan contract through my work for my lease car and need two new tyres urgently... that was Wednesday and I am still waiting. They don't seem to know what they are doing. Communication between tyre companies and Leaseplan is very poor. I have no faith in Leaseplan.

AVOID LEASEPLAN AND AYVENS
I have leased cars for years and I have never encountered such high end of lease charges as I did with Leaseplan. There was no room for discussion and some of the items they claimed were out with wear and tear policies were crazy. I would avoid this company in the future at all costs! You think you get a good deal with monthly rates but I can assure you they recoup anything they miss out on with their end of contract charges. I think it's also laughable how quickly they will respond to reviews on this platform when their customer service is horrendous, maybe the full team is just dedicated to damage control for the endless bad reviews this company receives. Apparently they are rebranding to Ayvens... I wonder why... AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Probably the worst company i have had to deal with... Zero customer service, once they have your money and the contract ends then you have to fight to get your V5 document. Been nearly a year and still they do nothing.

I got in touch with Leaseplan regarding them taxing my Vehicle as I had been receiving emails from an unwanted company. They have assured me that as we have leased the vehicle from them they deal with the Tax and charge us accordingly. They where really helpful

Amazing Service and Full Recommend
I have been dealing with Kerry Osgood from the Small Corporate Team with regards to my car and I could not have had a better customer experience with her. Extremely helpful and went out of her way to ensure I was fully satisfied with the car I will receive. Very quick to resolve any queries, and received regular updates from her to ensure I was fully up to date with where we are in the process. I 100% recommend Kerry to anybody wanting to sort out their vehicle. 10/10!!

They don't care about their customers
We experienced an issue with the brakes on our van, and LeasePlan arranged a repair for two weeks later, the earliest available date. However, two days before the scheduled repair, we received a call stating the repair was being moved to another garage, and we would receive an email confirmation—an email that never arrived. Upon contacting the garage directly, we were told that LeasePlan had initially sent the job over but later recalled it, leaving us with no booking. This wasn’t the first time; in the past, other garages informed us they had stopped working with LeasePlan due to unpaid invoices.
The day after the brakes were supposed to be repaired, a part fell off while the van was being driven. Fortunately, the driver was going uphill and managed to roll to a stop after losing all braking power.
When we contacted LeasePlan for assistance, they told us recovering the van was our responsibility. We asked where to send it and were told it would take two days to arrange a garage. In the meantime, they offered no help or guidance. After two days, nothing was arranged, and despite spending almost two full days on the phone—being bounced from department to department—the booking was still unresolved. We were eventually informed the original booking wasn’t done correctly, and they would have to start the process over. When we asked how we could ensure it was done right this time, we were simply told to "trust the process."
Due to the repeated issues, LeasePlan eventually promised to arrange the recovery once the garage was booked. However, when we called to arrange the recovery, they claimed there were no notes in the system stating that they would handle it. Once again, they said it wasn’t their responsibility. We were also told that if the appointment was cancelled again, we would have to recover it again from that garage, to the new garage.
Eventually, we spoke to Andy from the offroad team, who escalated the issue and followed up—he was the only person who genuinely helped throughout the entire ordeal.
Now, over a week later, the van has finally been recovered, but the garage estimates it will be off the road for another two days as they wait for parts. Our lease ends in a few months, and I can honestly say there is no chance I would ever use LeasePlan again. If you value your time and sanity, choose another company. LeasePlan has shown little regard for our business, and the staff repeatedly lied to us, which only happens when management allows it.
Sharp practice,
Unfortunately, you can't give zero stars on Trustpilot - 1 star is actually complimentary. I had an issue with a faulty battery supplied to my by the AA (through Leaseplan), which subsequently conked out after a year. Leaseplan's laughable 'Technical Team' decided it was because I hadn't driven the van enough. I complained and pointed out that I hadn't changed my driving habits and detailed the mileage from the MOT's for the past few years, proving them wrong and asking them why the previous battery had lasted for 6 years at that same level. I have not heard anything from them, despite raising at least two official complaints, and they go and arbitrarily dip their hands into my bank account and take what they want. This is tantamount to theft, and is extremely sharp practice from a company who thinks women are stupid, do not answer emails, lie about their complaints procedures and make up spurious reasons in order to steal from you. They have absolutely no interest in helping you when your are in need (my van was broken into and all they said was I was liable to pay for the damage and if I got extra security for it, that was also at my expense and I'd have to remove it all when I give it back, again at my expense). These people are virtual fraudsters whose only interest is fleecing you out of every penny they can get. Avoid at all costs.

Leaseplan have absolutely shocking…
Leaseplan have absolutely shocking customer service and have held an overpayment from me for months now. They have promised to pay me back the overpayment with due dates on the invoice and have failed to make the payment.
Not even as much as an apology has been made for their awful service.
They still owe me money and I have to reach out to them for answers constantly. It feels like a miracle when they finally reply, although nothing ever comes from it.
Steer well clear of this company. Absolutely appalling.

AVOID AVOID AVOID
Been a customer for years with various different vans, changed our bank details so was asked to send a Direct Debit mandate over, this was sent back in June, and every single month since, Leaseplan have continued to take payments out of our old bank account. I sent ANOTHER direct debit mandate in August as they admitted they didn't bother actioning it in June and they PROMISED us they wouldn't take any more payments out the old bank, but came into work today to 2 more payments out of the incorrect account. Absolutely ABYSMAL.
To add to this, I tried to call in August and got told I was not allowed to speak about it as I am not named on the account, yet when I spoke to another staff member they said because we are a limited company, as long as I can pass the security questions I am allowed to discuss the account. The other staff member said that the staff member who gave me incorrect information needs more training but I got the same woman again today and she denied me access AGAIN (Louise she is called)
Never will we ever lease any vans through this company again, their customer service is some of the worst we have ever come across in 17 years in business. Complete inconsistent information from staff to staff.
The almost 2000 one star reviews on this platform will back up my thoughts.

There is a current fault with my van
There is a current fault with my van. It has developed an engine fault and it bieng a 1 year old van. The van can not go back to Vauxhall until the 02/10/2024. The fault developed on the 27/08/2024. During this period i was offered a courtesy van for 7 days. I have had to hire a van for a month out of my own expense. Leaseplan have washed thier hands off this matter and are still charging for this period even though i am paying for a service in which i am not receiving. Very poor service and has left no choice but to take this up the chain as this company is not interested in helping its customers..
