Lease For Life Housing Group is a specialist social lettings agency that works in partnership with private landlords and local authorities to provide secure, well-managed homes for hardworking families, key workers, and individuals in need of safe housing. We handle everything from tenant vetting and referencing to complete property management and guaranteed rent, making the letting process seamless, ethical, and profitable for landlords. We are currently working with landlords who are looking to sell their properties. While these homes are being marketed for sale, we offer excellent rental returns through our Temporary Accommodation (TA) model, which is based on direct agreements with local councils. These placements are not secured tenancies under the Housing Act, and we guarantee vacant possession within 28 days. This approach enables landlords to generate substantial rental income during the sales period, and many opt to continue with TA placements permanently due to the flexibility and financial benefits. Additionally, we operate a house-sharing platform for young professionals, delivered under a compliant House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) model. This provides much-needed affordable housing for key workers and essential staff, while offering landlords significantly higher returns. By managing every aspect of compliance and tenant care, we support communities in keeping vital workers housed locally and securely. Lease for life is an amazing company !!!!! I would highly recommend them. They helped me and my son find a lovely home, during a time where I was really in need. I have to say Karen at Lease for Life was really helpful and kind to a very distressed landlady. She calmly explained all of the options available to us and had a list of approved workmen. I could not recommend this company, or Karen personally, highly enough.

Words cannot describe how amazing they are.
What lease for life are doing is really special. They helped me and my family find a lovely home at very short notice, and were able to help us at a time when we needed it the most. Anywhere else I tried to contact to rent a home told me I need to earn a certain amount, which for me was out of reach. Then Lease for life did their magic and found us a place we could call home. They were very professional and efficient. Karen and Lisa who I had the most contact with were brilliant, they’re very hardworking and passionate about what they do. Highly recommend this team – they are extremely knowledgeable and are very professional. Being a landlord can be extremely stressful, Lease for life help alleviate all that and help organise everything for you. From vetting tenants to organising insurance they can do it all. I work full time on a Zero Hours…
I work full time on a Zero Hours Contract. I have a good income and have always worked. But because zero hours Contracts are not considered secure jobs, referencing companies would fail me before I even make an application. Letting Agents were unable to help me, even though they tried. I WORK, I have GREAT Landlord references, and no one would or could help me. Would you please support Lease for Life, they make the impossible possible.

Thank you, Yolima; this is a significant point –The Local Housing Allowance (LHA) is set much lower compared to the traditional rental market prices (this is why firstly it's so so hard to find homes at the rent level). Still, a 2-bedroom flat in SE18 at the LHA rate of £1350 PCM requires you to earn a joint/ several incomes of £40,500 a year, which is over 20% above the London typical wage of £33,000 (according to Average Salary Survey). This is before even looking at Zero Hours Contracts or those receiving UC support. So it's an extremely unfair system from start to finish.

Thank you Yulieth, anyone can find themselves with tenants unable to pay their rent; recent times can attest to this. This is why we ensure all our tenancies are supported with Rent Guarantee Insurance. BUT when your rent is set close to, if not at the Local Housing Rate – you know 100% you have a solid platform to bounce back from often without relying on an insurance claim. Thank you for your supportive words. Absolute correct, those on low to medium income really struggle to pass traditional referencing. To clarify, a tenant needs 2.5 the income veuse the rental, and so to rent for a 2-bedroom in London at £1585 PCM, the Proposed tenant needs to earn a minimum of £47,550 PA. So yes, we need support for these hardworking families. Thank you so much for bringing this up.
