We have been very pleased with the quality of work that Barry has done on our lawn this past summer. Every phase of the job; cutting the grass, trimming (we have a fence), edging, and blowing the grass clippings was exceptional.

I always get excellent service from LawnStarter. They are very considerate and take good care of my lawn. They have the best service, and I have had the best experience with them.

Diego did an excellent job cutting the lawn! He was punctual, efficient, and took great care in ensuring every corner of the yard was neatly trimmed. The lawn looks fresh and well-maintained, and he even went the extra mile by edging along the walkways. Diego’s attention to detail and professionalism really stood out. I’m extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend him for any lawn care needs. Great work, Diego!

Quoted and accepted price of $67 before lawn was mowed and edged. However, LawnStarter charged $150 to the credit card on file--without notification, more than double the quoted amount. The job was poorly done--lawn is uneven, sidewalks in back not edged, long grass left between "passes". Called LS and begrudgingly got a $47 credit. The CS agent was patient--but I'm thinking you have to be to work for them. Crap job, crap company.

9/17/2025 Update on initial LawnStarter experience of 8/30/2025

An independent mediator contacted me concerning the negative review I posted earlier on TrustPilot, hoping to reach a positive resolution--which did occur. I will say, LawnStarter customer service reps have been very professional, including the mediator. Thank you for their efforts, as we did come to an agreement.

Additionally, LawnStarter sub-contrator "King James Lawncare" came out on 9/15/2025 and did an amazing job. Lesson: Not all LawnStarter sub-contractors are equal; but LawnStarter appears to take customer concerns seriously. Shout out to LawnStarter customer service

It was easy to set up and the company came out when they said they would. They were respectful of the property and did a fine job.

Jeremy does a great job with mowing and trimming the lawn. He's careful with the new backyard lawn which was laid last September.

Fast to setup and orders filled quickly. Jason, the provider, did a quick and professional job.

Tony mowed my yard for the first time today & did a nice job.

The entire lawn was mowed well. Even the front slope was well mowed. We appreciate the thoroughness of mowing curbs and alley boulevards. Lawn looks great! Thank you.

Zach did a great job on our property! He was efficient and was great at communicating with our questions after his service!

Joseph does a great job taking care of our lawn. It looks so nice when he is finished. Very professional.

Gregg came 18 days after the last lawn mowing service. We had heavy rain on the 16th and 17th, and light rain on the morning of the 18th. The area around our side door toward the garage tends to grow faster and longer. The grass there had been flattened by the rain, and although Gregg mowed it, once it dried the next morning it looked as if it hadn’t been cut.

Gregg came back and not only re-mowed the area by the side door but also went over almost the entire yard again. I really appreciated that and gave him a tip. He said he will cut the grass shorter next time. It felt nice.

Kristen did a great job. He was friendly and courteous which is rare these days.

Easy to use app makes scheduling and paying simple, service is dependable and reliable, if issue comes up, customer service is great and responsive. Great price!

I ordered one time service and they chared number ot times even I told them that I do not need service any more, It was very hard to cancel it.

The guy came out on a Holiday and mowed the lawn. We really appreciate this. We live in a group home for disabled adults. We're very happy with Lawn Starter. I'm Kyle not Tyler.

I’ve been with LawnStarter for close to a year. Prices are decently fair in an ever expensive growing market. Scheduling is easy and it’s very hands off. I never even have to talk to the professionals who care for my lawn. I can manage everything through an app.

That being said…

Your service can be dropped at any time, without warning.

And out of the 4 lawncare pros I’ve used, 3 were good.

One was less than stellar, and liked to over charge and would ask for money outside of the program.

In general, I would recommend them, but do your due diligence.
