I bought quite an expensive T-shirt (more than £50) and I have to say when I got it, I loved the feel and the fit - it really was a lovely piece of clothing (or so I thought). So, despite the not insignificant cost, over the next month or two, I bought another 5 in different colours, as I thought they were really perfect. I think left a glowing review! Unfortunately I should have waited.
What was not immediately apparent is the Cotton/Modal fabric was just incredibly fragile; after just a few weeks I noticed one had a number of small holes in the centre, middle of the T-shirt. I think it must have been caused by trouser buttons, or belt buckle - so I took a look at the other Tshirts and 3 of them had similar damage! Now given I'd only had the T-shirts for a short time and I have a lot of other clothes, I estimate that I'd only worn the 3 T-shirts maybe 4-5 times (one of the three, probably no more than a couple of times). I'm completely astonished that they became so damaged after so few wearings.
As I say, I have a lot of clothes, some I've had for a long time, and I have not had any of them become damaged in this way???
I think, the quality of the fabric may 'feel' nice, but is simply not fit for purpose.
Also I contacted the Customer Services department to inform them - I wasn't even asking for my money back (now reading some of the other reviews, I'm wondering why I didn't!). I suppose I'd had the T-shirts for 3-4 months and I felt too much time had elapsed; but really - paying over £50 for T-shirt and it doesn't even survive half a dozen wearings. Anyway, I thought I would advise Customer Services of their poor resilience, foolishly I thought they might be interested. Absolutely not - not even the courtesy of an acknowledgement. They present quite a restrained, up-market Company image, but I feel really ripped off. NOT A GOOD COMPANY, save your money.
