Formal Complaint Against Laura Dental Center – Antalya

My name is Valbona Kreku, and I am writing this complaint to warn others and to formally report my extremely distressing experience at Laura Dental Center in Antalya.

I visited this clinic in January 2025 together with my husband. What we experienced has seriously affected our health, confidence, and mental wellbeing.

The clinic promised me German implants, but instead they placed Turkish implants without my consent. This is a serious breach of trust and honesty. Additionally, they removed my canine (dog) tooth without any medical reason, which caused excessive bleeding. Despite the amount of blood loss, no proper aftercare or medical follow-up was provided.

I was told I would receive screwed implants, but instead the implants were glued, which was never explained or agreed upon. On the very first day of arrival, before any dental work was done, the clinic demanded half payment and the rest in June upfront cash payment they did not accept card payment this , put pressure on us while we were vulnerable and abroad.

Communication was extremely poor. Most staff did not speak English, and during treatment they were laughing and speaking Turkish, which made me feel disrespected, unsafe, and humiliated while dental work was being carried out on me.

The dental work itself was done very badly. Instead of improving my smile, they have destroyed my teeth and my confidence. I have been forced to return to the same clinic three separate times due to ongoing pain and serious implant problems. Each time, my concerns were ignored and I was told, “You don’t have any problems,” despite being in constant pain.

They told me I needed 25 implants/teeth, which made no sense. I questioned this because a human mouth normally has 24 teeth, and instead of explaining professionally, the staff were rude, dismissive, and laughed at me.

Because of the poor placement of the implants, I now bite the inside of my cheek constantly, causing pain, wounds, and difficulty eating. I am still in pain and feel deeply depressed about my appearance and the damage done to my mouth.

Both my husband and I have been seriously affected physically, emotionally, and psychologically by this experience. I am now afraid to go to another clinic because of the trauma and loss of trust caused by Laura Dental Center.

I strongly warn others to be very careful and avoid this clinic. In my opinion, this clinic is a serious risk to patients’ health and safety.

I am submitting this complaint in the hope that it will be taken seriously and that others will not have to go through the same pain and suffering that we have experienced.

Came over on a recommendation from friends and family. I couldn't recommend their services enough.

All of the staff were extremely accommodating and supportive through the process, there clinic is a beautifully modern building with everything on site.

A fantastic service at an incredible price compared to what I would have paid back home.

I went early January this year with my partner
They advertised and agreed for 12 German implants but they put Turkish instead
Whatsoever from the beginning we’ve been asked to pay half of the money upfront in the reception before even seeing the dentist
After 6month we went back July and finished with crowns
Before we leave they ask to leave review and we handed our phone to them as they reviewed them self
After couple of months I noticed my gums was not as they supposed to be The implants on the lower jaw was visible and when I smiled every one can see
We went back second time in October and this time the changed the lower crown and they to small and my smile was disappeared
I have paid over £8000 in total plus they charged me for seniors lift and bone graft which never been done
It was cost me a fortune including travel second time accommodation and plus I lost my job for few weeks
I strongly recommend to avoid the Laura dental center in Antalya as they are not professional

Highly recommend Laura dental centre, very professional and affordable and highly attentive to customers needs and wants. I had my teeth done here and cannot fault them would 100% recommend to anyone looking at getting their dental work done to visit here.

I am currently in Antalya starting the process and it’s been flawless and friendly. So glad I was recommended Laura dental and can’t wait to finish the transition next year.

Communication before I flew to Turkey was excellent. I received a video to show how my treatment plan would be carried out, and every question I asked was answered. Transportation and the clinic were great and very efficient. The dentist was very thorough (a perfectionist) and did an amazing job! All staff were welcoming and helpful. I had 24 crowns at Laura dental and I can say from start to finish the service was perfect!

One particular thing that stood out the most to me was the level of PERFECTION I received from my dentist. Her attention to detail was out of this world! My teeth were sent back to lab for the tinest of changes twice as she would not let me walk away without them being just right. The level of care was next level. The whole team from dental nurses, admin, cafe ladies, car drivers, translators was just out of the world. I knew turkey was renowned for their dentistry but this place is something else! I also know that turkey has a bad rep in the UK but this was 100% inaccurate from my experience! I have never felt so looked after and supported during this procedure.

The clinic was so clean, the equipment was the best of the best and I just felt so safe!! And as a woman flying solo this was really important to me. The communication was spot on, I was never left not knowing what was going on, what was next etc.

I just can’t fault them at all! I’ve had ZERO pain! Yes parts were not pleasant but more on a sensory level. No pain during and even after the procedure which genuinely surprised me as I had a root canal and was expecting the worst! I was numbed and if I felt any discomfort they would top it up, I was sent home with painkillers also.

The service is just out of this world and makes UK dentists hugely inferior. And I don’t like to say that as a Brit! The skill, care and attention to detail is unrivalled!
I asked for a natural look and not too bright and they delivered!

They were safe and ethical and didn’t do any work they didn’t need to do. I have heard of clinics doing 10-15 root canals but this wasn’t the case here. They genuinely care about their patients and it isn’t just about money which I have heard about a lot of other clinics.

One thing I do advise doing is getting an xray in the UK and sent to Laura dental centre before you come so you know exactly what you need to have done, in order to have no surprises when you arrive. I did this and my treatment cost was spot on as the dentist knew what needed doing before I came.

I reconnected with a friend some time ago who had done some dental work, and that inspired me to come to Laura Dental Clinic for my own treatment. At first, I was a bit nervous about how my results would turn out, especially since I was in a different city. From the very first contact, Miss Marina explained the entire procedure clearly, which gave me the confidence to go ahead.

From the moment I arrived, the service was excellent: they picked me up at the airport and helped me settle into the hotel, all coordinated by the clinic. When I arrived at the clinic, the staff welcomed me warmly and treated me with great professionalism.

Oliver was in charge of my case and guided me throughout the whole process, making sure everything went smoothly. It was an intense week due to the nature of the treatment, but the final results were absolutely worth it. The dentist in charge completed all the work and even made final adjustments to perfect everything.

In the end, I left very happy with my new smile and look. I highly recommend Laura Dental Clinic for their professionalism, personalized care, and excellent results.
