As agreed the EICR was done for this house and the report sent on time.However,for another property, different minor problems were flagged up and I was charged unreasonable amount for fixing the problems.

Terrible company!
Terrible company!! Don't use this company for Gas and EICR checks and Certificates! I am a property owner and they said the property has passed and forced me to make payment first. When paid provided a failed certificate. Muzammil Asif lied and said Certificate was passed to get payment. I asked for a Refund and Mr Hamid Ali Usama (Said his name was Hamid Khan) who is the director wasn't willing to issue a refund. Company also known as Safecert UK Limited. I will advise DO NOT to deal with this company!!

⚠️ LANDLORDS BEWARE!
Update: After several weeks of phone calls and email complaints, I was consistently ignored. Their manager, Malik, even went so far as to openly threaten that if I did not remove my negative review, he would mark the EICR for another one of my properties as unsatisfactory. His behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional.
Following my continued complaints, the case was taken over by manager Muzammil Asif, who finally brought the situation under control. He sincerely corrected their mistake of classifying my report as C3 instead of C2, and handled everything in a professional and friendly manner. Frankly, he restored my confidence in the company.
As a result, I have revised my negative review, and I hope the company will have more competent and responsible managers like Muzammil.

LANDLORDS BEWARE: Predatory "Fail" Tactics
They are using EICR reports as a trap to force expensive repairs. They ignored BPG4 standards and turned my previous satisfactory EICR into a "Fail" just to send a remedial quotation. They failed my property by wrongly coding a C3 issue as C2. They tried to charge me hundreds for "remedials" just to get a Pass certificate. After a heated argument on WhatsApp, they agreed to refund me but then disappeared. If you want an honest inspection, look elsewhere. Absolute nightmare for landlords! I am taking a legal action to against them too!

Thank you for raising this. We’re sorry to read about your experience — particularly the concerns around coding, the remedial quotation, and the communication after a refund was agreed.
We do not operate “fail-to-sell” tactics. An EICR outcome and coding (C1/C2/C3/FI) must be based on the condition observed and the requirements of BS 7671, and where relevant guidance (including BPG4) applies, it should be followed. If a C3 was incorrectly coded as C2, that is a serious issue and we would expect it to be corrected through our quality process.
On the refund point: if a refund was agreed and then you did not receive it, that is not acceptable. Please contact our office with your job reference / property postcode / invoice number (using the contact details on your booking confirmation), and we will escalate this to a manager to review the report, the WhatsApp thread, and the refund status and come back to you with a clear resolution.
For completeness, we provide landlord safety certificate services including EICR, Gas Safety (CP12), EPC, PAT testing, Fire Risk Assessment, and other fire safety checks — and we expect every service to be carried out fairly, transparently, and to the correct standard.

I employed this company to renew my Expiring electrical safety certificate. The electrician upon completing its test assured me verbally that everything was in order and it has passed the test. Before paying their invoice I phoned and asked them to confirm the result was a pass which they confirmed.
After paying their invoice, they sent me a fail certificate with a list of remedial actions amounting to £600. As I am a qualified chartered electrical engineer, I know all of the proposed works were complete nonsense and made up in order to extract money from customers. This company lacks transparency and professional qualifications. I am in the process of taking legal action against this company and reporting them to competent professional authorities and regulators.
I won't recommend this company to anyone. Don't touch them.

An EICR result must be based on the recorded inspection and test results and the correct application of coding in line with BS 7671. If you were told verbally (and later by phone) that the outcome was a “pass”, and then received an unsatisfactory certificate with remedial costs after payment, that is not acceptable and requires an immediate management review.
Please contact us quoting Order ID 474400 so a senior manager can:
review the electrician’s test data and observations recorded on the EICR (including the schedules),
check the coding and the basis for any remedial quotation,
confirm what was communicated to you and when,
and agree the appropriate resolution promptly.
If you prefer, we can also arrange an independent re-check / second opinion as part of the review process.

The appointment making was inadequate
The appointment making was inadequate. Several personnel called for the same appointment. They called the landlord instead of the Tennant and did not keep the appointment. They asked for payment before the service was provided. I would never use them again

Multiple calls from different team members for the same booking is not acceptable, and contacting the landlord instead of the tenant (when tenant access is required) is a clear process failure. Missing the appointment then compounds the issue, and we understand why you would not want to use us again.
On payment: we sometimes request payment in advance depending on the booking type, but this should always be explained clearly and never at the expense of delivering the appointment as agreed.
If you can share your booking reference (or postcode and date), we will investigate the call logs and scheduling notes, address the internal issue, and confirm what resolution is available.

Unreliable
Unreliable, expensive and incompetent… would give zero stars if the option was available.. had an asbestos assessment carried out and was told i would receive the report within 3-4 days.. chased several times on days 6 & 7 was told constant lies by the team.. in the end they stopped answering my calls and if they did answer they would hang up!!
The last time I spoke to them I was promised a refund but still awaiting tha!
Avoid like the plague!!

I was quite skeptical initially about…
I was quite skeptical initially about the company; at some point even thinking I got scammed due to the slow communication however the electrician did turn up and even returned the day after to test another smoke alarm. I truly appreciated that. I was able to get my certificate the day after.
