Kuuraii (கூரை) is an age-old Tamil word that means thatched roof under which our ancestors lived for generations! It’s that roof under which generations gathered, the quiet courtyard where a mother lit the lamp every evening, the shade that protected, the space that nurtured, the roof that held together families, faith, and festivals. We work directly with artisans, traditional makers, and small producers. Each product is either made by hand or backed by practices that have stood the test of time.
