Wonderful healthy food

Great company providing super healthy, gut friendly, food options. I'm gluten & dairy intolerant, and as a busy entrepreneur, it's very hard to eat/cook well. I've always eat out/order from Deliveroo, but can't find consistently delicious and healthy options on Deliveroo. Recently did a gut test through Zoe, and realised that my gut is not in its best shape and I really need to fix my health through a better diet.

I value the diversity & customisability of Kurami meals. Also some meals are really tasty, and honestly for the price, it's totally worth it. Will be ordering more frequently when back from holidays.

Delivery company did deliver a bit later than expected, which is ok for someone like me who does intermittent fasting and doesn't eat breakfast, but might be an issue for someone who does eat breakfast. Kurami support is great though, with really fast support, and I believe they are actively trying to fix the issue to ensure the delivery would be on time.

But nonetheless, it really is a unique service, and magical that it exists in this empire of ultra processed food. Wholeheartedly support Kurami! Please keep up the good work.

I'm still waiting on my refund and it's…

I'm still waiting on my refund and it's been over 30 days. In this financial climate I feel it's very poor that a company provide no product, give poor customer communication (in me having to prove I didn't receive the products and continuously ask for a refund).

As well as the above I'm now waiting on a refund that I was told could not be sped up and have to wait the full 30 days.

Please Kurami get this sorted and reply to my email I sent asking where my refund is.

Fantastic, fresh and tasty!

I’m so happy with this service. The Nationwide trays are really helping me keep on track with my overall diet and nutrition and they taste waaaay better than so many of the other pre prepared options that are out there!

Generally disappointed

Generally disappointed. My subscription lasted for three weeks and during that time my food arrived spilled twice. The first time I was compensated, the second time they never replied to my email. The food is great on some days, but most days it is bland and absolutely not worth the price.

Thank you for your words, and we are firstly regretful to hear of any disappointment, especially that of the spilt item(s), which we take seriously. This is certainly not our usual standard and one in which, I hope, we were proven to respond and react swiftly.

We take our customers' experiences seriously, and we regret any inconvenience caused by the spilled soup. We want to assure you that we took immediate action upon learning of the issue.

Having raised this with the client services manager, we can confirm that we sent an email on 7 November notifying that our third-party courier had spilled one of the soups. Understanding that this was inedible nor appropriate to receive, we informed you that we had already arranged a private courier to resend a soup directly to you, which was received at 12:54 pm the same day.

The following day, we received a notification that you had cancelled your subscription, to which we welcomed further feedback, however we had not received a response on this occasion.

As for a second spilled item, I can confirm that no further incoming correspondence notified us of this, and we are not aware of a second incident. We reached out to you on 21st November to express concerns that indeed a second spilled item had unknowingly occurred based on this review, however unfortunately we are yet to receive a response.

Terrible delivery with bad service, absolutely not worth the price

Forgets boxes and delivers late; once so far (in the first fortnight of the subscription) delivered only one of two boxes and then delivered a non-vegetarian box later when our orders were vegetarian; appalling customer service with zero accountability, including begging for subscription not to be cancelled and assuring a "genuinely positive experience" during the next delivery only for the next delivery to be late.

The food is also mediocre, on top of the above problems.

Food consistently arrives late

Food consistently delivered late - around or after midday. Completely defeats the purpose of a calorie controlled meal plan if you’re not able to have the food due to late delivery. Whilst the food isn’t bad, it’s not for you if you’re hoping to have your food delivered on time, early morning, and maintain a calorie controlled diet throughout the day. Would not recommend.

Very disappointing

I was excited to try this after all the positive reviews and media coverage. But I am sorry to say that the food is cheaply made and deeply unpleasant. Most of it consists of random collections of beans of various kinds which seem to have come out of cans, accompanied by drinks that are almost entirely water coloured by some tiny addition of extract. Just occasionally there is a dish which tastes OK, but even then you are reminded that you are essentially eating a microwave meal that you could get at Tesco, just for a much higher price. Nothing here makes you feel healthy, happy or well.

Amazing food

Delicious food, great service. Coming from LA I’ve struggled finding good df and gf food, this meal service is amazing.
Would be even better if they included more sauces to pour over the amazing dishes, but I’m already very pleased.

Amazing, tasty and filling.

Incredibly healthy and filling food. It has changed my digestion altogether! The food always arrives on time and everything is specially and perfectly tailored to your needs. If you don’t enjoy a particular meal, they will replace it with something else etc. Very awesome!

Do it.

I’m currently suffering from long covid, which makes shopping, cooking and cleaning hard - extremely exhausting. Kurami feels like the most amazing gift to myself - it is not only super convenient but absolutely delicious and SO nutritionally dense. It feels like deep healing for my body, and such a nice thing to be able to nourish it with. There’s no way I’d be able to eat such a diverse range of food if I was cooking for myself. I know it’s going to do great things for my microbiome. And it so totally yum!

Boring food and ridiculous anti-cancellation tactics.

I never write bad reviews but this company was terrible. The food tasted like cardboard and had a terrible consistency (please bear in mind that taste is personal preference). The company also tried to force us into 2 weeks of subscription by making the cancel button unavailable for 2 weeks which I am almost sure is illegal.

Absolutely Amazing

Absolutely Amazing!

So many delicious meals! I've been struggling with finding any meal plan type services due to my dietary restrictions for so long. Kurami offers such a diverse range of options and each and everyone of their dishes are incredibly flavourful and filling. Despite a bit of a kerfluffle with the delivery, the customer service team - especially Camilla managed to sort everything out perfectly.

The very best super food in town

I have never tasted better quality ultra healthy super food, I can't recommend Kurami enough! This company really cares about what goes into their products and how each ingredient benefits their customers.

First of all DPD delivered our parcel…

First of all DPD delivered our parcel late and put it in our post box rather than ringing the buzzer or leaving it with our neighbours. It was in our postbox over night and we are worried that the fish and chicken might have gone bad. Secondly it’s disappointing to see things like Xanten gum etc in the supposedly fresh meals.
