Peru's Machu Picchu was a bucket list trip for us and Kuoda has helped make it a seamless experience. Planning began 10 months prior with trip designer, Molly, who was highly responsive and helpful with building our custom itinerary that included Lima, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu, Cusco and the Sacred Valley.

When we finally travelled in May 2025, every detail was very well taken care of, with experiences and hotels that surpassed our expectations.

Throughout the 20-day trip, the Kuoda team remained in constant contact through a chat group and was helpful in sorting out any queries or minor hiccups.

For anyone looking for a travel team that can put in place all your quirky requests (ours was to include golf), Kuoda has our endorsement 100%! We especially loved how Kuoda incorporated sustainable, community-building aspects in their partner choices.

Bonus: when founder, Mery, popped in for a surprise meet at the end of our trip!

Our experience with Kuoda was outstanding! From beginning to end, it was first class. They customized a 4 day trip to Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu for us, allowing us to leave our cruise ship in Lima and catch back up with them in Manta, Ecuador 4 days later. Wonderful travel agent that accommodated our every request, fantastic guides. The food was amazing, the accomodations top notch. The personal touches really made it special, from the Whatsapp group set up for our trip to makes us feel in touch and up to date on what was happening, to the surprise visit from the local Supervisor and Owner who met us at our hotel is Cusco. I can not recommend Kuoda enough......if you are planning a trip to South America you need to contact them!

Our Kuoda planning supervisor was a great listener and planned an itinerary that worked for our personal interests and comfort needs. The in country team were 100% available and reliably met us at airports, hotels, and boat transfers. Our tour guides were enthusiastic, and expert in the history, culture of Ecuador and the Galapagos. Whether adventure hiking or doing a cooking class, we loved our local leaders. Kuoda travel made this once in a lifetime trip an experience we will not likely forget. Thanks to Kudos, we had a spectacular and memorable trip to Peru. Five stars is too few to amply describe the amazing service and experience they provided us. Every hotel they placed us in was fabulous. We loved every daily activity they planned for us. We had the most incredible guide (Jeremy, who could easily teach grad school classes in Incan history) and driver (Peter), who shepherded us from one extraordinary site to another, including the iconic Machu Picchu. Highlights of the trip: feeding the baby alpacas each morning at the Belmond Rio Sagrado hotel, riding the Belmond Hiram Bingham to Machu Picchu, the spectacular Machu Picchu, visiting the the female master textile weavers and their children's school near Lake Pray, and culminating with the glorious Inti Raymi celebration in the Plaza de Armas of Cusco (from a balcony reserved for us by Kuoda).

We have done two vacations with Kuoda and we’re very well cared for. They even surprised me with a birthday dinner. They care for every part of your trip so you don’t have too.

Amazing trip! Everything went so smoothly and we were so very comfortable- Excellent accommodations and food considering food allergies-including Quinoa! Our tour guides Edward & Nilton were knowledgeable, passionate and had a deep understanding of Peruvian indigenous history and culture. Our driver Eduardo was extremely skilled at maneuvering mountainsides They were very kind; who went out of their way to make my 10yo daughter's birthday special. Kuoda also arranged a unique golf experience for my husband at Lima's finest course. I can't say enough good things about Kuoda. They made this vacation exceptional.

We are planning our third trip with Kuoda. Our experience in Peru was exceptional, which led us to decide to use Kuoda for our most recent trip to Colombia. The planning team works hard to make sure that your trip fits all of your needs. They always pick amazing hotels and we have never had a bad guide. I have difficulty eating restrictions and they made those known to the guides. Additionally, they helped us book reservations at some of the top restaurants. When things went wrong, as they inevitably do, they were quick to respond and find a solution. For example, we were in a small town and I broke out in hives. They were able to quickly find a doctor to do a house call and they made sure we were supported every step of the way. Until I can see everything on my bucket list in the countries they support, Kuoda will continue to be our trusted travel partner.

I have travelled many countries which were organised by travel companies, but in my experience Kuoda is the best I have ever experienced. They are very organised, you get reply to your mail very promptly, whole trip was very well thought and arranged according to your need. All the accomodation, food, guide, hospitality were superb. You will be well looked after from the beginning to end. I must say, besides professionalism they show passion for customer satisfaction which made me most happy.

We had to postpone our trip Ecuador and Peru by two years because of Covid. When we were finally able to travel Kuoda quickly put together a tour that closely matched our original plan. Every aspect of our three week trip was outstanding, from the sequence of travel to the tour guides they selected, to the hotels. We choose Kuoda after careful research both online and using guidebooks. We felt that going with a Peruvian based company would be best, and our experience certainly confirmed that.

This was our second time using Kuoda Travel and again they were 5 stars! Everything from the planning (Theresa Galles is so good! She put together an itinerary that perfectly matched our travel style.) to our time in Peru was seamless. The guides are very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. Our Kuoda host, and the owner of Kuoda, checked on us frequently to ensure everything was going well. We always felt like we were in good hands!

Kuoda Travel was absolutely incredible. They picked me up from the airport and handled nearly everything until they dropped me back off at the airport. I felt totally safe, prepared, and taken care of the entire time I was in Peru. Tour guides were excellent and I would 100% travel with them again.

What started as the best family vacation of a lifetime to the Galapagos ended w a crummy twist. I tested positive for Covid at the airport and had to stay behind. I sent my family home because I didn’t want them to get stuck there too. It was impossible to get a straight answer as to when I could travel home. I was being told anywhere from 4 days to 8 weeks depending on who I spoke w at the airlines. The only help I received was through Kuoda. They never stopped working on getting me home. They made sure I was safe at a hotel they were in constant contact day and night. I can’t say enough about this agency. Besides planning the PERFECT family vacation they came through when I really needed them.

We were very satisfied with all aspects of our Kuoda organized trip to Peru. Guides, drivers and vehicles were excellent and special support from our guide and Kuoda office in Puno were outstanding when we unfortunately had a dog bite incident. Hotels were terrific and highest quality.The WhatsApp connection was also nice and especially useful in clearing up a few scheduling details. We heartily recommend Kuoda for diligence, superior customer service and attention to detail in all aspects of our Peru vacation.

I had high expectations for our trip to Peru, it had been a longtime dream of my husband’s. Molly guided us through the planning patiently and thoroughly despite needing to delay a few times. Once we arrived Jimmy shared his country with us bringing it to life with his stories and experiences while Mario carefully navigated us throughout this amazing but challenging landscape. It was a trip of a lifetime and can’t encourage others enough to use Kuoda. Their commitment to local communities, the humanistic nature of everyone there and knowing that you have their support navigating what can be a complicated trip was amazing. So grateful for the experience and choosing Kuoda.

My daughter and I made our first trip to Peru in August, and Kuoda Travel could not have done a better job of showing us the beautiful sites, people, and culture of Peru. Our guide was excellent, and every stop we made was meaningful and rewarding. I have recommended Kuoda to others and we will use them again when we return!

We had a bad experience with another US based agent arranging this trip for us. They were almost double the price. We had fabulous guides/drivers with Kuoda and felt well cared for during our entire Peru trip. We will use them again and have passed their name on to our friends.

Not only had Kuoda organised an amazing trip and the beginning matched our high expectations ! But halfway my wife got ill. It is then that real support matters !! Kuoda has been amazing organising everything we needed to get us safely back home.
