Worst company I have ever dealt with

By far the worst company I have ever dealt with, in any industry. I was told the blinds would be ready in 3 weeks and the first lot arrived after 2.5 months. There was no communication during this time. I called multiple times and no one would ever call us back.

When the blinds did arrive, 4 out of 7 were the wrong size.

I had to call 3-5 times a day for over a week to finally speak to someone about getting a refund for the remaining blinds as I did not want to wait another 2.5 months to get the rest.

I left multiple messages and no one ever called back. A staff member hung up on me during this time and laughed when I told him how long I had waited for blinds.

When I asked for the refund for the remaining blinds, I was told that I wasn’t entitled to one and I was bound by my contract, which Consumer Affairs Victoria confirmed was untrue.

They assured me that all remaining blinds would be installed within a week. Two weeks later, and after taking another day off work, only 3 out of 4 blinds arrived. When I questioned the missing blind, I was told by the installer it wasn’t ready and never would have been ready in two weeks. Of the three that were ready, one had a huge cut in it.

I called the manager again to ask for a refund and once again was told that I wasn’t entitled to one. I asked about the missing blind and the manager first tried to lie and say she told me that it wouldn’t be ready. She then tired to blame it on the installer and finally admitted it was her error.

By this stage, I had called Consumer Affairs Victoria and started a case against Kresta. It was only after I told them I was going to progress my case with Consumer Affairs that they said they would ask head office for approval to get a refund. I was told they would call me back the next day about it, which they didn’t, and I had to call them yet again.

I finally got a refund for the missing and damaged blinds after almost four months.

The blinds I did receive are terrible quality and look awful. We are going to have to replace all of them.

So in summary, after many months and only after getting Consumer Affairs involved, I have 5 (out of 7) awful quality blinds. I lost countless hours on the phone to them and three days of work. I am going to be out of pocket over $1500 to have all the blinds that were installed replaced. I wouldn’t wish having to deal with this company on my worst enemy.

Just a very bad experience that every…

Just a very bad experience that every time I looked at my bedroom curtains I asked my self why did I pay that much of money for tese curtains??? For 3 long months, given a quote, lost my quote, found my quote, accepted the quote, remeasuring to be fitted, order arrived but the warehouse did not even scan to let the office aware the curtains were ready so I have to call them and find out because it was too long since they said " urgent" . Booked in for installation, the guy did not turn up for 3 times, until the 4th before I could ask for a refund because I could not reschedule my work anymore, so unreliable. Finally, after the 4th time another guy turned up, 5 minutes job. All done, however the curtains were extra long so they don't look nice when they touched the floor, the over flap of the curtain was on the wrong side so night time I could have all the light from the street lights shinning on our face, using clips, velcro straps to close the gap so no lights can go through into your bedroom at night. It was supposed to be replaced my old curtains to be " blocked out" .
Please customer, if you are thinking of new curtains for your house don't go to Kresta blinds, especially if you are in Nunawading area because only 1 guy who does the fitting job so if he could not make it you will waste more time to reschedule.

No replacement parts on plantation shutters, what a joke!!

We bought both plantation shutters and curtains around 8 years ago now,and spent around $14,000 doing so. The shutters on double hinged set of doors began to sag very early on but was told to just deal with it and lift the doors up as we closed them, interesting!!! But the main issue is that after spending that amount on the shutters, they don't carry the spare parts to replace broken shutter clips ( the ones that attach to each blade and connects to control arm). Surely when a company sells a premium product, they should be able to supply replacement parts, I'm willing to pay, even though I was originally told they had a 15year warranty but only to be told now that they supposedly had only a 2 year warranty. We wouldn't have bought them if they only had a two year warranty!!! The clips are only plastic and would only cost a couple cents to make but now I'm left with shutters not opening, spinning freely. Consumer warranty is what's going through my mind!!! I doubt the clips were even UV stabilised as the the ones in direct sun are all failing!!! I rang Kresta Loganholme but was told there was not much I can do as they have since changed the style of shutters and couldn't get the replacement parts anymore!!! Where can I get these clips!!!

Don’t hold your breath waiting for your curtains … you’ll die waiting

It has been more than 12 months since I ordered my curtains from Kresta (ordered May 2017). I still don’t have the curtains I paid for. I have had 4 lots of curtains delivered none of which have been correct. Delivery 1: waited 4 months for them to arrive. They were the wrong fabric and wrong size. Clearly not my curtains. Delivery 2: right fabric but wrong size. Wrong opening Delivery 3: right fabric. Wrong size and wrong opening. Delivery 4: right fabric and right size and opening as ordered but all the finished edges were wavy and not hanging straight. So unsightly and extremely disappointing. Have been trying to have them replaced. One thing that compounds the frustration of this saga is that I wanted a centre opening with a gathered header. The sales consultant insisted that I should have an off centre opening with a box pleat header. I took her advice as she is an expert - right? In reality the box pleats are too heavy for the fabric and the header falls forward and the off centre opening covers more than half my window when open so blocks the view and the light. A second thing that compounds the frustration is that the customer service from Kresta is non existent. It has taken 23 phone calls and emails and discussion with a variety of people to try to get any resolution to the situation. I have now been waiting 4 week for a manager to ring me back to tell me when the fifth set of curtains will arrive. Hopefully they will be the right fabric, right size, centre opening and gathered header - just as I wanted 12 months ago. At this stage I just want a full refund of the purchase price as I have certainly not received the goods as advertised or in a timely manner.

Disgracefull service ordered 1 vertical…

Disgracefull service ordered 1 vertical blind July 2017 first time track fitted too high 2nd time blinds too long 3rd time too short, now waiting for 4th try and this has all taken coming up 10 months.
Its a joke. Trying to be compensated uh ,no response .

Forget Kresta

Forget Kresta.
Just finished the 3rd attempt to install blinds that should be correctly sized for my window frames. Still not the right outcome and patience has worn out.
Hopeless despite good sounding support service. The installer was also helpful and keen to do a good job, but the blinds don't fit the windows again.
Looks like I need to try Luxaflex after all.

NEVER USE KRESTA!
As a business owner I am never one to support poor reviews however I feel that people should be warned against spending their hard earned money with Kresta.
We had 3 quotes with Kresta coming in slightly higher than the rest but we felt confident with their sales rep and his assurances.
We paid 50% deposit for the products and were given a 4-6 week turn around time. After 2 weeks, we received a call asking for the remaining 50%. When my wife asked when they were coming to install, the girl on the phone had no clue!
A week later, we received a call saying the subcontractor would call on Friday night and book a time for Saturday. This didn't happen.
We stayed home Saturday and the subby did turn up.
He began installing the blinds and 3 had punctures in them and1 had the drop incorrectly measured.
Trying to have this rectified has been a nightmare. The staff are unhelpful, the manager at Penrith is unwilling to help and blames everything on the regional manager or on "cpmpany policy".
We have been told the new blinds will take another 4-6 weeks as they are manufactured overseas and not locally!!
Will be lodging a complaint with the Department of Fair Trading as Kresta should not be allowed to continue this poor quality practice.

Waited more than 3 months for blinds to be installed, and what's worse - I paid for timber venetians, received artificial wood venetians which are a lot cheaper!!

WORST COMPANY IN THE HISTORY

WORST COMPANY IN THE HISTORY. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!!

Long story short, I ordered my blinds and curtains from them and promised everything will be installed four months ago and now I still have no curtains or blinds because they couldn't get an installer on site in time and when they did, nothing fits and they had to re make everything. I get phone calls from them asking me stupid questions that should all be on my files but they can't be bothered going through the paperwork - their own words!!!!!
I've just had another person to quote and re do everything and the price came back half of theirs...
SO YES DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Kresta must be avoided! Worst customer service!

I paid a lot for these blinds. It took nearly 2 months to to get them made and to get an installation appointment, which was a month longer than stated. When they finally gave me an installation time, I took it and took a day of leave in order to make the appointment. The appointment was confirmed in the morning, so I kept the leave. Hours later, I was told that the installer's car had broken down. I can see that this is unforeseeable (if the car was properly maintained), so not the end of the world. I did expect, however, to be compensated a token amount for being put out and losing a day of leave. The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful concerning this request, saying "it wasn't their fault". Well, it certainly wasn't my fault, but I'm the one losing out. I expected a little better after the amount I paid and the delay in service. Go elsewhere!

AVOID KRESTA NZ! Please don't waste your money

AVOID! Substandard blinds and downright rude customer service.
I bought 3 and all of them warp inwards at the sides allowing slivers of light through both sides. When I brought it to the attention of management they said they'd send someone out to take a look, then cancelled that visit at short notice (5 minutes!! When I'd already taken the time off work to come back and meet them) and then never rearranged the appointment, and didn't return my calls, basically just blanked me. Terrible behavior, thousands spent, and left feeling really stupid for trusting them. Please learn from my mistakes

Horrible horrible customer service

Horrible horrible customer service, never keep to their aftersale service promises
Bought and installed their curtains just a year ago and the whole thing has faded and the rubber is all cracked, and their warranty covers it for so many more years, and they don’t want to change it
Useless management that has thrown me around for 3 months, all telling me to contact the next guy

Warning Never use Kresta

Warning Never use Kresta. This company is a joke. Sales rep assured me installation would happen in 3-5 weeks. Based on that assurance, I made the decision to go with Kresta as I have no window coverings whatsoever. To date, it has been over 6 weeks, with no indication of an installation date. All I can get is "... at least another two weeks". When I try to contact someone in authority, my return calls go to a number "not in service". They were very quick to get my money, but service standards and customer service are non-existent. I will never use Kresta ever again. I am extremely disappointed with all aspects of this company.

I have never received such appalling …

I have never received such appalling service. My saga started way back in February and I am still to have all my blinds completed. The latest is the last blind that has been fixed twice now and apparently will be replaced yet again. I am still waiting on a phone call to tell me when I might possibly have my blind installed. Last time it took 2 months instead of the 2 weeks I was promised. I would give no stars if I could!!!!

Probably the worst company we have ever …

Probably the worst company we have ever dealt with. 13 months and still not a complete job. Lots of sorry this sorry that, $7K spent and made to feel very worthless. I would suggest you do not spend your money with them, awful awful awful!

Great service

Free quote was great, consultant was very helpful, price was competitive, the blinds came from australia in the time specified, installer was quick and efficient and the blind is working great. Great team and great communication.

Amazing Service and Expertise

My experience with Kresta has been simply fantastic! From the moment I met Michael, who spent as much Christmas time as needed with me to look at all options for my home, I knew Kresta was the right choice. He listened, and came up with out of the box solutions for my home. Then the gentleman (sorry I forget his name), who came to install was just as lovely. He had a challenge with installing one curtain as my window was curved and he had to makeshift up something he had never die before, but he delivered. Both gentlemen were fantastic and made the whole experience seamless. And our curtains look amazing! Thank you!
