I contacted Kompass after Google incorrectly linked them to a mobile number I was searching for. The person I spoke with was very friendly and took the time to explain that this looks to be a broader issue caused by Google where Google are wrongly associating unmatched mobile numbers from their search engine with company listings on websites such like their own.
They explained that this problem has affected multiple companies, not just Kompass, and that Kompass is already in discussions with Google to have the issue resolved as quickly as possible. The explanation was clear and reassuring, and they were happy to answer my questions.
Based on my experience, I’d encourage anyone with concerns to contact Kompass directly before drawing conclusions.

I wanted to leave a positive review for Kompass (UK) Ltd after experiencing some confusion caused by multiple calls from a range of unknown mobile numbers. When I searched these numbers online, they appeared to be linked to several companies, including Kompass, which caused me concern.

I contacted Kompass today and found them to be extremely helpful and reassuring. They explained that they are aware of an issue with Google, where unrecognised mobile numbers are sometimes incorrectly being associated with a small number of companies that hold business data, including Kompass. They clarified that Kompass solely provides business information and does not make outbound calls or hold any consumer data.

The team member I spoke with was friendly, patient, and took the time to clearly explain the situation. They reassured me that the calls I have been receiving are in no way connected to their business and even provided examples of how Google can misleadingly direct users to websites such as theirs.

I wanted to share this review because I can see that they have made efforts to address similar concerns for others. I would strongly encourage anyone experiencing the same issue to contact Kompass directly. They were professional, accommodating, and genuinely keen to help resolve my misunderstanding.

A great example of excellent customer service in what was, for me, a frustrating situation.

Why are these reviews being removed. All the reviews are stating the same. We are inundated with calls which trace back to Kompass. Don't blame the consumer, do something about it. I am using today's date because this is ongoing. I am constantly blocking calls.

Recently inundated with calls from mobile numbers that link back to Kompass when I Google them. Bloody annoying.

I've had a couple of calls from mobiles which give me a search result for Kompass when I Google the number. No voicemail left so I'm ignoring it for now.

I am fed up of getting calls from numbers that appear to be generated from Kompass Uk. Especially while I am trying to work!!! Everytime I block one another one rings. It’s getting beyond a joke now. I don’t even know how they’ve got my number. It’s bordering on harassment now

Sick and tired of receiving calls from different companies and when checked all come under “Kompass”. I am 84 years of age and do not require any assistance regarding work ethics etc. how many more people are being bombarded with these nuisance calls!! How can I get my telephone number removed from this company’s records? Should be illegal to use my number without my consent.

Stop phoning TPS PHONE NUMBERS WITHOUT AUTHORITY. NO message left.
Seems to be a SCAM company.

Kompass are (or claim to be) a B2B marketing company.

I have just discovered that they have my email in their database, which they had absolutely without my permission.

Is this even legal under GDPR? Even if it is, it's certainly extremely dubious behaviour.

I wouldn't have anything to do with them.

Edit, 4 December 2025: I've had a request for more information. The information they want includes my phone number. Nice try, Kompass, but given all the other reviews that report bad experiences with Kompass's use of phone numbers, that's not happening.
