I love Koio capri but I have to mention…

I love Koio capri but I have to mention that the quality of the sneakers is definitely declining. I own 3 pairs and the difference in the build quality from the first to the third I received last month is very telling . The soles wear quite easily ….. and the leather don’t feel the same at all. It’s either this is a marketing ploy to get customers to buy the rose anvil collabs instead of the regular triple white capris. I might not return again .

Very uncomfortable shoe. Go find a cobbler.

Was excited get my shoes.
1. Shoes are very uncomfortable, which was surprising. Narrow, had pain in my foot every time I wore.
2. Shoe sizing was very small. I actually put my shoe up to several other pairs of shoes of same size from other brands. And they are objectively smaller. Combined with other reviews I read saying that say shoes ran too big ... I would say that sizing is an issue for this brand.
3. Best yet, when I reached out about options, told that because I wore the shoe a few times that I couldn't replace. So, lesson is ... don't ever put this shoe on your foot if you would consider returning. Just look at it and kind of guess whether it might fit.

Best yet, the advice that I got when I reached out ... find a local cobbler who can professionally stretch out your shoe! Wow. And yet she continued ... "many of our customers have had success with this". I am not sure that it's great to mention that many of your customers have to seek out and pay local cobblers to stretch out their shoes so that they fit appropriately.

Thank you for sharing and I'm so sorry to hear you're not enjoying your shoes! Since worn shoes are not eligible for return, we recommend trying new shoes indoors, preferably on a carpeted surface, to make sure they are comfortable and the correct size before wearing them outdoors. If you're unsure, our team is always around to help guide you during this try on as well! Just send us an email and description of the pain points.

Despite not being able to accept the worn shoes back, our team did offer some recommendations in order to help with the fit. I truly apologize if the experience was not what you were expecting, and please let us know if we can help with anything else.

The shoes themselves aren’t bad

The shoes themselves aren’t bad. I’ve bought them a few times before. But after the company closed all physical stores in the US and switched to online, the service got noticeably worse.

My size is 11, and it is never in stock. This makes no sense. Now you manage inventory from a central warehouse instead of multiple stores, so why can’t you keep common sizes available? It looks like basic stock management is failing.

Another thing I really hate is the email spam. Once you create an account, they start flooding your inbox with constant promo emails. Nobody asked for this. I had to set up filters just to delete this garbage automatically. That’s not marketing, that’s disrespect to customers.

The product might still be decent, but the overall experience has become frustrating and careless.

Horrible

Horrible. My order has been stuck in MIA for 2 weeks. No updates and I had to message Koio 10 times for every response which was just that they are looking into it.
Don't order with Koio. Nightmare. Plus they charge double shipping costs of other shoe companies and do not deliver.

Top Tier Quality & Customer Support

Jane, Jade, Aakifah, Violet, and the whole Support team are very responsive and helpful. I'm a big fan of the brand, a repeat client (having purchase 6 pairs of shoes now), and will continue to purchase from Koio due to the high quality goods, as well as the premium support.

I had issue with the sizing on one model (Garda), but the Fermo and especially Capris are wonderful.

Shocking customer service experience…

Koio’s website said they had the shoes I wanted in stock, but when I tried to buy them the transaction wouldn’t go through. I messaged Koio and they sent me a payment link to buy the shoes via email. Two days later they told me they had made a mistake and the shoes weren’t available, so they would issue me with a refund. One month later, despite repeated chasing, the refund still hadn’t been issued, even though Koio had emailed me to say it had been sent. In the end I had to go via PayPal to ask them to reverse the transaction. Unbelievably, when PayPal investigated, Koio told PayPal they had posted the shoes and shared a tracking link with them. This link was found to be fake and PayPal reversed the transaction and found in my favour. All in all a teuly terrible experience. Their shoes are superb but this transaction has made me doubt ever buying from them again.

We were in the process of moving fulfillment centers at the time of your order, and while it's not an excuse, some inventory levels were definitely affected by the move. It looks like our team did reply to you saying that the refund was processed, but it looks like the refund may have gotten stuck between systems since your order was international. I'll also look into what happened with your dispute, I truly apologize for any miscommunications there.

Worth every penny!

A couple days later, Jane also followed up and sure enough, I received them quickly and the shoes are AMAZING! Soft leather that are sized perfectly and super comfortable. Perfect to dress up or down for versatility on a trip. This is my first purchase from Koio... I will definitely be buying more!

Deleted my 5 star review and replacing…

Deleted my 5 star review and replacing it with 1 star. I should have waited for my exchange to arrive before posting a positive review. Sent an item for exchange, the item I wanted is out of stock. I selected something else. Back and forth with customer service email, and customer service stopped responding, no item sent, no follow up, no refund etc. Way too much time spent on this issue. Highly inconvenient.

Quality shoes!

Just got my second pair and they're great. The Italian leather is superb!

The only bummer is that the price has pretty much doubled since I bought my first pair, which is a bit of a letdown.

That said, I'd still recommend them.

This website appears to be a scam. My preorder was taken and then cancelled within 2 days and a full refund wasn’t given. Why was order taken in the 1st place.

Sweaty Shoes

The shoes are fine but the customer service is a bit unresponsive. I had some questions about the quality of the paint on the shoes but they didn't respond, so I'll review them as is.
I purchased the Capri Sandstone color. The exterior finish looks plastic or vinyl like, similar to the finish on Adidas. If it wasn't for the suede like leather lining, I could be convinced that the upper is not leather. The plastic like coating inhibits breathing. My feet are so hot in these shoes, to the point of sweating. Then I noticed that the color started to rub off the tongue to reveal the original white color. These shoes have two layers of paint, the original dye and the sandstone paint. There are a few other things but this is the main issue. Since they didn't respond to my question I don't know if this is common or just a one off.
They do look great, however.
