I came in on May 2 to purchase a tool that was priced at $129 when I checked online on April 30. It turns out that the price jumped > $20.00 in May. KMS honoured the April price. This was really appreciated. They stock lots of tools and price them well.

Always great experience when I go to KMS in Calgary. On my latest visit the staff was very helpful in finding a particular saw rather than just telling me the aisle, which is what I had asked. The check out staff helped me fumble through an electronic gift certificate I had received for Christmas. This was just my latest visit I always find the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

I made contact with KMS customer service several times regarding two orders that I placed online on December 12, 2025. My address is only one hour away from the Calgary distributor and they used UPS as the carrier. UPS has so far rescheduled the delivery three times, each time someone has to stay home to accept the delivery which never arrives. KMS tools has not offered any compensation for my frustration. I filed a claim with UPS on December 18 and have yet to hear back from them. Now, UPS has rescheduled my delivery for today, December 22. I again made a call to KMS tools customer service and they offered to contact UPS if my two orders don't arrive today. If this is what you'd call service then I am at a lost.

Very few knowledgeable staff as they experience high turnover and now hire only basic skills i.e. problem-solving/analytical abilities do NOT seem to be a requirement

UPDATE: bough a large King Canada tool from them and it's beyond warranty period so am prepared to buy parts. King Canada says KMS can help me...and KMS tells me to go to King Canada and just keeps repeating 'if its more than 1 yr old, it's not our problem'....even for $ you wont help your customers?!?

Online & Backorders are constantly messed up; staff call and say 'your order is ready for pickup' but then you go there and pieces of it have still not arrived or they simply can't find them. Or...you do pick them up and then they repeatedly call you to pick it up...several hours after you already did!

Online sales support is a joke; all they give are 'quick' answers, regardless if they are accurate or useful. Had an open support ticket and found out that they DIDNT PUT ANY DETAILS in it from what had been discussed...when I called back to follow up, they claimed that they were 'waiting for information from ME..' and that was their excuse for doing nothing...

To compound the issue, went in to the store to try to resolve a tool/fitting issue and was given excuse after excuse....the only solution provided was 'just return it'. Telling your customers to effectively 'GO AWAY' is a poor business model...

Product, yes. Service, No.

KMS is the bomb

Went to buy a Milwaukee sander which I looked up online first and it said they had 12. A fellow helped me and said they didn't have any, which was fine as Home Depot had them on for the same price. I then enquired about a Milwaukee tool bag they had in their flyer and wanted 2 of them. The guy in tools directed me to the back of the store and said someone else would help. Here I was met with most unhappiest woman I have ever met in my life. She did not want to help at all. She kept sighing and rolling her eyes and pointed to a bin of Milwaukee tool bags. I looked through them and did not find the 15 inch one they had in the flyer. I finally convinced her to look it up and she said the SKU number in the flyer is for a 17 inch bag, not a 15 inch which I wanted. I suggest she should get into another line of work because she definately isn't suited for this job. What a total waste of time.

Great selection, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Buy all my tools there.

I had a number of online purchases last and this year and I just had a true positive shopping experience with KMS Tools. Variety of trades can find the right tools from their large selection of quality tool supply.I encourage do it yourselfers or people in trades to compare their prices with others and test your own  experience with KMS.

Even though I had to wait for an hour for checkout. Staffs here were very friendly and helpful, trying to get you the best deals for the money you spend.

I can usually find everything I need at KMS. The store is well organized and well stocked.

Great welcome from customer pick up, gave my info, and off the young lady went ,and within a minute had my online purchase ready for me! always have a great customer service with Calgary KMS staff!

Your staff are always eager to help. They are quick and know where to find what i need.

Good atencion

I like shopping there because of the wide range of woodworking tools etc. When you need certain things you can’t get them at Home Depot. I also really appreciate the staff, there hasn’t been one time I have gone there and staff hasn’t approached me to see if I need help. Great place and staff!

there is always some on that can help describe specific tools and there purposes and provide help to get the right tool

Bought a Fuji Sprayer online a few weeks ago. Awesome experience from ordering to delivering The Product arrived very well packed and fast. I finally could use it in a DIY project I'm working on and the sprayer impressed me. The finishing was perfect with minimal overspraying. I used to spray using a compressor and definitely should have changed for this Fuji turbine a long ago.
