I ordered some Peco turnouts off their website which was showing 13 items in stock with a 48 hour delivery time. After 2 weeks of trying to get someone to answer the phone having had zero response to numerous messages, emails etc I was informed that despite what the website says the items were out of stock and were still awaiting supplies from Peco. Now 3 weeks later I still have not received my order and no support whatsoever from customer service. Will persevere as they have my money but would never order from them again.

Prompt reliable service. I prefer to buy from Scottish based retailers if possible.

Hassle from the start, took three months to get what other shops had in stock. Communication none existent and emails ignored.

The order was placed on Sunday evening and items arrived Wednesday morning despite the country being covered in snow. Items were securely packaged to withstand delivery. A good price for the items.

Fast smooth transaction at best price.

As a previously satisfied, returning customer, I can't quite believe the service (or the lack of it) I received this time for a web-based order.

Item ordered was shown with good stock availability so when it didn't arrive within a couple of weeks, I contacted KMS for an update. Their initial response was prompt but confusing - claimed item had just sold-out but if I was prepared to wait "a few days" they would get it for me. I replied that I was happy to wait but pointed out to them that the item was still showing in stock on their web page.

Two weeks later I politely asked for another update - this time I got no response at all even though item still showing as in stock.

Two further weeks later (now 4 weeks after original order) I asked for another update but got no response. By this time, stock levels, according to their web page, had risen above what they were when I first ordered ...

I've given up hope of receiving my item or receiving any customer service (I've tried telephoning also but no one answers or responds to messages left) so I've raised a case with my credit card company to hopefully get a refund.

I'm disappointed for them as much as myself - what a let-down.

Three months ago I ordered a pack of TTA tankers from them but still nothing has arrived. After a month I emailed them and received a nonsense reply. Three weeks later I emailed again to find out what was going on but no reply. A couple of weeks later I emailed again but still nothing. I tried phoning but only an answerphone, left a message but still no response. Obviously they have no intention to supply the item, but as I cannot contact them I can't even get a refund. Other model shops have had these in the whole time and I should have used one of those, which I will be doing in the future if this farce is ever resolved.

Competitive price, supplied product as soon as it was available from manufacturer, no issues or problems.

Placed an order on the 23rd November, for over £310.

Didn't hear from KMS nor could I contact them until the 2nd December, when I was told they didn't have stock of some of the ordered items. Partial order was dispatched on the 5th December. Spoke with someone on the 13th who informed me the items would be in stock on the 18th. At time of writing, it is the 24th December, and still haven't had the remainder of the order shipped.

Really good customer service from KMS Railtech. Would highly recommend this model Railway supplier. Items ordered came well packed and delivered quickly. Really good price as well! Thank you.

I placed an order late yesterday morning yesterday 19th December and paid a very reasonable amount for both the product I ordered (PECO Points) and the postage They arrived today 20th at lunchtime, in Bucks.
Well packaged and protected. Amazing service and I will definitely shop here again.

First and most important to me:

Advised part of order out of stock, given clear information on when this would arrive and then be shipped.
Order arrived packed perfectly not just thrown at a tatty box with a Shred of bubble wrap!
1st time I have used this shop…. definitely not my last!

Lady I spoke with went above and beyond. At the time I rang the servers were playing up and merchadising software was offline. She was patient enough to physically check that stock was available and took my order over the phone. Old school manners and hospitality - what's not to like!

No communication and no after sales service from this company. They can not be bothered once they get your sale. Stupid really as I would have revisited and purchased again I’m sure but I’m hundreds of miles away now. Shockingly poor.

Overall very pleased with the online service & would definitely recommend KMS Railtech. Items despatched promptly and well packaged.
One item in my order was for some 4mm scale model lights. I ordered these in black. The pack was marked as black but the lights were brown. Not a problem for me as I just repainted them black.
I emailed KMS for their information regarding the incorrectly marked packaging & heard nothing since; hence the 4 stars rather than 5.
