Nessun problema di noleggio, macchina in buone condizioni. Sono arrivato la sera e non ho controllato bene (ma ho fatto l'assicurazione).
Appena in autostrada ho sentito un rumore sotto la macchina e l'indomani ho chiamato la Klasswagen. Sono stati gentili e si sono adoperati innanzitutto per capire il mio problema e per trattare con me in italiano.
Sono stato trattato bene. Grazie.

Dopo aver fatto assicurazione completa con booking volevano farci pagare una da 241 euro mezz'ora ed io non l ho fatta . Al ritorno si sono inventati che l auto era eccessivamente sporca ( 3 gg in garage coperto) per addebitare 55€ . La ragazza che voleva vendere la polizza quando abbiamo consegnato l auto ha detto in ungherese al suo collega di farci pagare per l.autolavaggio.... questa è gente senza scrupoli .... ma tra qualche recensione vi troverete senza clienti e disoccupati.

1. Third-party insurance purchased via Booking
As clearly stated in our Terms & Conditions, any insurance purchased through a third-party platform (including Booking) is not issued, managed, or accepted by Klass Wagen as a replacement for our rental conditions. Such insurance products generally function as reimbursement policies between the customer and the third-party provider after the rental ends.
For this reason, at pick-up, all customers must choose between:
the standard rental option, which includes a security deposit and full responsibility up to the excess, or
an optional Klass Wagen protection package, which reduces or eliminates financial liability and the required deposit.
You chose not to purchase the optional protection package, which is entirely your right. No insurance was charged without your consent.
2. Cleaning fee at vehicle return
Our Terms & Conditions clearly state that vehicles must be returned in a reasonably clean condition. If a vehicle is returned with excessive dirt (including heavy dust, stains, sand, mud, or other conditions requiring professional cleaning), a cleaning fee may be applied.
The €55 charge corresponds to the standard cleaning fee outlined in our terms and is applied only when the vehicle condition exceeds normal usage. The duration or location where the vehicle was parked does not override this condition.
Klass Wagen takes professionalism very seriously.All return inspections and applicable fees are based solely on the actual condition of the vehicle and our contractual terms, not on discretionary or personal remarks.
While we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, we must confirm that Klass Wagen acted fully within its contractual and legal framework.

Atterro a Budapest alle 00:05.
Due sole persone all'ccettazione a fronte di una decina di clienti. Riesco a sedermi al banco all' una di notte. Un ora di attesa gia questo mi fa innervosire.
Arrivo con una carta di credito con una disponibilita di 2380 euro (controllato sul sito della banca) ma vi viene detto che quella é una debit e non viene accettata. Sull' altra faccio un tentativo e non passa... il plafond é troppo basso. Aumento il plafond in maniera da avere 2700 euro (ho fatto screen shot dell app bancaria) a fronte dei 2300 e di nuovo la carta non passa. Faccio vedere all'operatore che i soldi ci sono.... un altro tentativo e la carta non passa. Di nuovo
Mi hanno abbandonato alle 2 di notte in mezzo al niente e dovevo fare piu di 100 km
Ed ancora non so se i soldi del noleggio, pagati in precedenza, li rivedro.
Piuttosto che rivolgermi di nuovo a loro, faccio la strada in ginocchio.
In 40 anni di viaggio mai successa una cosa simile
1) la carta di credito ha nome completo.
2) la seconda carta usata é una credit visa, che ho usato per noleggiare macchine in mezza europa.
3) dopo aver alzato il plafond, il credito era di 2700 euro.
4) Questi controlli fateli prima di accettare la prenotazione.
Una persona che viaggia non puo ritrovarsi per strada alle 2 di notte.

Desideriamo informarti che se una delle seguenti richieste relative alla carta di credito non viene soddisfatta, il POS negherà la carta di credito: 1. La carta di credito non riporta il nome completo. 2. Non è una Visa/Mastercard. 3. Non è specificatamente scritto CREDITO. 4. Non ha un limite di credito sufficiente.

Klass Wagen Budapest
Avevo già usato questa compagnia, ma a Budapest sono rimasto molto deluso dal servizio.
Avevo già pagato la polizza di assicurazione supplementare con la prenotazione di Ryanair, ma mi sono trovato costretto a pagare la loro assicurazione supplementare di ben 370 € perché mi è stato richiesto un deposito di 2300 € sulla carta Visa che nonostante il mio limite sia di 2500 sono bastati 250€ di spese a renderla inutilizzabile. Trovo tale pratica da parte della società scorretta perché è impossibile utilizzare la gran parte delle carte dí credito visto che non accettano per esempio American Express.
Devo poi segnalare che l’auto aveva ben oltre 120000 km, che ritengo eccessivo per in auto a noleggio, inoltre era priva della cappelliera che copre il baule posteriore rendendo visibili i bagagli durante il parcheggio. Per finire i freni posteriori erano rumorosi, ritengo da sostituire.

You had trusted our service before, so it is completely understandable that this situation felt frustrating, and we genuinely regret that we did not meet your expectations this time.
Regarding the insurance and deposit: even when a customer purchases insurance from an airline or intermediary platform, that policy does not replace the security deposit required at the rental desk. The partner’s insurance is a reimbursement-based policy , meaning that if any damage occurs, the deposit must still be blocked locally, and the customer later claims the amount back from the partner. For this reason, a valid Visa or Mastercard credit card (with sufficient available limit) is mandatory when choosing the deposit option. This process is a standard requirement across the car rental industry and is also detailed in the broker’s terms and conditions prior to confirming the booking.
When the necessary credit card limit is not available, our colleagues offer the alternative premium protection option, which removes the need for a high deposit. I understand this felt unfair in your case, and I’m sorry if the situation caused stress , that is never our intention.
Thank you as well for your feedback regarding the condition of the vehicle. Although higher mileage does not affect safety ,since the cars undergo regular technical checks, you should always feel completely comfortable with the vehicle you receive. You also mentioned that the parcel shelf (the rear trunk cover) was missing. Please allow me to clarify:
many customers remove this cover because it does not fit together with all their luggage, and they often leave it at the office rather than putting it back. This is the most common reason why some vehicles are picked up without the cover already installed, and we apologize that this detail was not communicated clearly.
Finally, the noise from the rear brakes is not something you should have experienced at all. Your comment has already been forwarded to the Budapest technical team so the car can be inspected and corrected.

Furfanti a Budapest
Pessima esperienza a Budapest con questa compagnia che già avevo utilizzato, senza problemi in altri stati.
Nonostante avessi già pagato a booking l'assicurazione sul noleggio, hanno provato in tutti i modi, riuscendoci per sfinimento, a farmi pagare la loro assicurazione. La scusa
che hanno trovato, dopo aver provato a ctrovare un limite del credito della mia carta (gli è andata male perche io ho una "black" con 25k di plafon), nonostante che nella prenotazione avessi inserito il numero del volo, si SONO PRETESTUOSAMENTE e CREATIVAMENTE attaccati ad un "orario" che non gl tornava... Ovviamente il problema delll'orario - guarda caso - non era tale se pagavo la loro costosa assicurazione. Assicurazione che gli ho fatto - per sfinimento- dopo un ora di graticola in tardo orario. L'auto che mi hanno dato, per di più. faceva schifo, una Kia con 94.000 km ed incidentata.
Come ho gia detto, avevo già usato questa compagnia - senza alcun problema - in altri stati. Posso solo pensare che sono dei poveri FURFANTI solo a BUDAPEST.
State alla larga da queste persone.

We are genuinely sorry to read that your recent rental in Budapest did not meet your expectations. At the same time, it’s very important to clarify a few essential points, because your review unfairly places blame on our company for circumstances that are actually explained in detail in the terms and conditions you agreed to before confirming your booking.
First, regarding the insurance:
When booking through a broker (such as Booking.com, Rentalcars, etc.), the “insurance” you purchased there is not our coverage and does not replace the deposit procedure required at pick-up. This is very clearly stated on the broker’s voucher. Their product only allows you to recover money afterwards, in case of a claim, but does not remove your financial responsibility towards us at the time of rental. For our cars, only the two options presented at pick-up apply:
Deposit (with credit card) – standard rental procedure worldwide.
No Risk Warranty (our in-house coverage) – which reduces responsibility and simplifies the process.
Second, regarding the deposit procedure:
Our staff did not “try to find a credit limit” on your card as a trick. The reality is simple: if you choose the deposit option, your credit card must be blocked for the exact amount stated in the contract. This is not optional, nor a scam, but an international industry practice. If the card cannot be blocked for any reason (daily limit, security restriction, or bank refusal), then the alternative is activating the local warranty. This is not about creativity or pretension, but about following the contract and protecting both parties.
Third, regarding timing and responsibility:
You mentioned exhaustion and pressure. Yet, adulthood and responsible travel always require carefully reading the voucher and understanding that by reserving through a broker, you agree to their terms, not ours. The meeting time, the deposit, the coverage , all these are transparently explained before your arrival. If you skipped these details or assumed things work differently, the responsibility cannot be shifted onto us afterwards.
Finally, regarding the vehicle condition:
All our cars undergo technical inspections, and while mileage can vary, safety and reliability are never compromised. If there was any damage, it was documented and shared with you transparently at pick-up, precisely so no customer can feel misled.
We understand frustration when expectations clash with reality, but calling an entire team of people “scammers” or “swindlers” is not only unfair, but also a projection of a situation where the real issue was a lack of attention to the terms and conditions agreed upon. Victimhood cannot replace responsibility.
At Klass Wagen, we remain committed to professionalism, transparency, and respect for all our customers. We regret your disappointment, but we cannot accept being labeled as dishonest when in fact we followed the rental agreement to the letter.

Attenzione terza assicurazione
Attenzione, nonostante avessi già pagato l'assicurazione e assicurazione aggiuntiva completa con booking.com, a tutti i costi volevano che pagassi un ulteriore assicurazione, cioe la terza, oltretutto in aggiunta, un ulteriore caparra, sono andato via senza macchina, purtroppo ho perso l' intero importo del noleggio, ATTENZIONE, do una stella perché almeno hanno avuto la decenza "con comodità" di riportarmi in aeroporto

Please allow us to clarify about the third party insurance.
First of all keep in mind that the insurance you have purchased from the Partner is coverage for the security deposit, that being the first option you had. The third-party insurance is different from our local “No Risk Warranty” service.
Even if you have third-party insurance, you are still required to either block the security deposit or purchase local insurance from us, as stated in our rental agreement.
Here’s how third-party insurance operates:
When you arrive at the office, you will be asked to block the security deposit. Upon returning the vehicle, if the supplier identifies any new damage, the costs will be deducted from the deposit.
The third-party insurance serves as a safeguard in case there are additional charges due to damages upon returning the vehicle — but it does not replace the need for the deposit or local coverage.
We are deeply sorry that this process was not clearer at the time of booking and that it resulted in such a negative outcome for you. Transparency is very important to us, and we are constantly working to ensure that our customers have all the necessary details before arrival.
Please know that our intention is never to inconvenience anyone, but to ensure transparency and vehicle protection in line with our contractual policy.

Quest’anno ho noleggiato l’auto con Klass Wagen per la quarta volta (3 in Ungheria e 1 in Romania) e confermo il mio giudizio Decisamente positivo su questa compagnia. Prenotazione nr. BUD-17442141518433. Check-in e consegna auto veloci e informazioni dettagliate. Macchina in ottime condizioni e della categoria scelta. La macchina mi è stata consegnata con 3/4 di tanga piena e al ritorno, poiché c’era un po’ più di carburante di quello che mi avevano fornito, mi è stato fatto subito un buono sconto per compensarlo. Decisamente soddisfatto e…al prossimo noleggio.
