I contacted K J Smith solicitors, Southampton. For an issue that I was presented with. Hannah mainly dealt with assisting me as well as Robyn at times. The information, documents they drew up for me and assistance they gave me was invaluable. Both were polite and very helpful and only an email or call away if I needed anything or had any questions.

Rachelle explained each part of the process clearly and answered every question I had which really put me at ease. I have recommended her to my friends because she was so helpful and professional and I'm pleased to have the opportunity to share my positive experience and provide feedback.

I want to thank Lydia who has helped me so much during this time. Lydia has helped me ways to go forward on how the situation I’m currently in regarding my children. She’s been a great help and I recommend her massively.

Would like to thank Eleanor for her professional and emotional support to finally get my divorce over the line after 4yrs. She was able to move things forward while maintaining the amicable relationship with my Ex that I wanted and facilitated the agreement of a consent order that had stalled our progress. I cannot recommend Liz Head and Saira Syed from K J Smith Solicitors enough. Liz has been absolutely amazing throughout the entire probate process for my late father. She has been incredibly supportive, thorough, and always available to offer guidance during what has been a very difficult time for our family. Saira, a trainee solicitor, has also been wonderful and attentive in her assistance. Their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail have made all the difference. Liz Head took all our requirements and explained all the alternatives and advised us on the best options. This was all carried out in a very pleasant efficient manner

Extremely pleased with the service offered by KJ Smith, and in particular Harpreet. Having dealt with Harpreet and her team over the past 2 years, I can only praise the service and professionalism through a prolonged divorce. I felt I was listened to and given first class advice with the correct outcome. I cannot praise enough given the other side's slow and poor responses, it would have been easy to stoop to the low level but never once did any standards slip. Cannot thank and recommend further.

I would add that the 5 star is purely for the work that Harpreet put in. I found the company itself aggressive in its charging policy and rather expensive especially in comparison to the other solicitor that was dealing with conveyancing.

I enquired over the telephone about a meeting to review our existing Wills and set up a property Will Trust. The email reply from the trainee just outlined their standard Wills service missing the points I had made. ‘Perhaps I didn’t explain myself ?’ so I put everything clearly in writing. No reply, just an ‘out of office’. Chased up again 2 weeks later but again, no reply, just another ‘out of office’. Not even a ‘Sorry’, ‘We’re too busy’ or ‘Just stop annoying us’ ! Truly pathetic service by so called ‘Legal Professionals’ ! Don’t waste your time, plenty of other solicitors out there !

I knew I was about to embark on a very long journey to end a 30 year marriage, however after my first meeting with Robyn she provided me with clear information and guidance and I knew I was in safe hands with someone who was professional and experienced.

Robyn always provided excellent communications and explained each step clearly and concisely.

Eleanor Tanner managed my divorce case. She was attentive, pragmatic, kept things moving when there was a delay. I'd recommend Eleanor to anyone with similar matters.

I was informed by KJ Smith from the start that due to a short marriage and no children, that my divorce should be a clean break and I owed my ex nothing. When the other side offered to settle on £150,000, I was told not to counter offer. I ended up losing my home and a big chunk of my pension, as well as wasting more than £70,000 on legal fees. Their advise has cost me more than half a million pounds and I will be making an official complaint and looking for compensation. I also raised on many occasions that their legal bills were extortionate, but my concerns were ignored and I ended up having to sack them before the FDR as they had already run up more than £40,000 of fees and wanted another £10,000. Throughout, they offered no strategy. they simply responded to the other sides aggressive demands that continually arose throughout the divorce proceedings.

Aaron O'Malley was helpful, responsive and very professional. He made the process as seamless as possible. Highly recommend.
