Bad insurance company
This has just been such a disappointment!! I have been battling to get King Price to settle in some way. Seeing that I have been paying for this insurance for five and a half years and never have one of the technicians made any contact to install any devices nor have any of the employees from Kimg Price contacted me for any device certificates. This is just such a unethical way of doing business! My vehicle was almost paid off, I only had a few months left to pay and now I am sitting with double installments due to the fact that King Price tricked me into this situation of not wanting to pay out my claim. One thing for sure, I don't think I am the only one and King Price will make sure to get any excuse just not to settle a claim especially if the amount is big.
Someone needs to take accountability for what happened here. I am not at fault and I just feel King Price should have done their part as well. How easy is it just to keep on taking people's money and when it gets to something like this, my vehicle got ****** and all the trauma and sadness I went though. They then just play this game. Shame on them. I will never recommend anyone to go to Kimg Price!!! They are out to catch people like us.

Claim No CKP 297653/1 I had an accident on the 21 December 2023 claim was registered on the 22 December 2023. Assesment report was submitted on the 28th December 2023, Claim was finilized on the 12th January 2024. Car taken into the Panel Beater Sleeq Auto on the 16 January 2024 to date the car has not been completed, King Price never gets back to me nor do they respond to my emails it seems that I am paying the panel beater the priemiums as i speak to them more than I have to King Price. I was doing all the follow ups myself including calling up the spares suppliers. I was told the car would be ready for collection on the 9th March 2024 only to go there and find plus minus 18 faluts still on the car (taking into account this was a brand new car 18 days old with 1328KM on the clock) which they wanted to repair instead of writing off but cannot get the car back to factory speck and i am expected to accept this car back. KING PRICE WILL NEVER BE RECOMMENDED BY ME, WORST SERVCE EVER
Distasteful behavior from Sakhile
Spoke to consultant by the name of Sakhile this afternoon. He was completely and utterly rude during the whole call. Was really off putting and now I know that I definitely will not be getting insured by such a company. Very distasteful behavior. Hope that they change the attitudes of their employees otherwise King Price can definitely start seeing a decline in customers.

I'm so disappointed in King price. I claimed the first week of December and they took their own time to send an email or call me to tell about the way forward and then, I phoned them 4 consecutive days in December with no response and eventually I got hold of them to follow up on my claim and they told me it is still being processed and then I waited. After a days I got a call from a company called Fixico and they told they going to fix my car on behalf of kingprice and the car was taken on the 3rd of January 2024 until this day I have not received any update from my insurer and I can't get hold of them when I phoned waiting for 40minutes. I'm seriously disappointed and thinking of taking another insurance. Worst service experienced

Bad attitude from your staff. I used to be a King Price client. Wanted to insure my son's Navara with you but the way I was treated today left me speechless. What a shame.
King price is the worst!
This is now my second bad experience with king price with my first accident king price took 2 months to fix my car, now this time it's been a month without the car even being moved from the assessment center to the actual mechanic! Reason being the mechanic for some reason couldn't get my ID Number from king price what a absolutely stupid excuse they gave me! I will not be using king price any longer and I would advise anyone who is drawn in by king prices cheaper prices to stay away and rather pay more elsewhere to get a better service because I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone!

Throughout my interaction with the team when I first registered my claim honestly I had my own reservations with their service due to little feedback on my claim status but immediately my claim went for validation and was informed that he will be handling my claim going forward I totally changed my mind about the kind of treatment I received, thanks to you Mlungisi you made me to believe and have confidence in the KingPrice systems as our mentality is always that Insurances are scams. He would update and give feedback with calmness. No matter how impatient I felt his professional conduct is immeasurable. We need this type of education and I

Months long investigation by insurer, claim now on hold without any reason which would have a bearing on the facts of the claim. Escalated to various departments including legal and complaints...over 2 weeks since dispute and no response to my 4 follow up emails - still no explanation or assessors report received, also no confirmation of there this vehicle is and whose custody its in (nevermind the audacity to pass on my personal information to a third party without any authority to do so (POPIA) but thats a separate topic)Absolutely horrendous, despicable service. Insurance is a grudge payment that you pay every month blindly hoping to never use it, but when you have to, stonewalling, bullying, discrimination and absolute insensitivity ensues. MAKE SURE YOUR MONEY HAS VALUE - STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSURER!!!!
Poor service from the King
Poor service from the King. I have comprehensive business insurance and I had to wait 10 work days and many phone calls to eventually get the rental car. The internet shows an outdated list of approved panel beaters - the one I wanted to use was no longer on their approved repairer list and I know Auto Magic delivers poor service and workmanship. After eventually repairing the car it was time for Inspection. Autoboys who are their inspectors are just as bad. First Inspection, my personal details were incorrect. Second time the app to capture photos of the vehicle, incorrectly mark damage on the vehicle that does not exist. I then took the car for Inspection at KP Menlyn, which wasn't any better. Still incorrect details and incorrect damage flagged by their app.
Terrible (very little) feedback from the claims department. Super annoying to have to speek to different people every time you phone. And many more complaints.

My husband matched our insurance at King Price and it was cheaper, with the first problem, no, you don't have mechanical, no, we cant tow your car from home, no, you only get a vehicle if this and this happens. Yes, we do have insurance, but it does not match the previous one, this is the worst experience from a Insurance Company ever.
Why do the Reviews on their site average 4+ but on other sites much less 1+. They pick what they want to show people. That can be the only reason. You won't see us again.

King price does not care about customers but itself. i was in an accident November 2022 and my car was fixed January 2023. i was called by Monica to acknowledge claim and advised not to take any payment from the guy who bumped. i honestly regret not taking that access money of R5500. everyday when i call its a story after story. Her attitude stinks, she does not care when talking to client or sympathize. I'm going to write this review in every social media platform to voice out my experience with King price. Useless parasites
I was in an accident 2weeks ago logged my claim the next day and send all the necessary documents. Assessments were also handled quickly but after that, I got no feedback every time I make contact they looked into it, and even today they still don't have an answer for me please do not sign up with this useless company.

Bad service access very high needs to pay R9500 access for a key that was charged R2500 and our housebreaking claim took 2 months and then get told not paying out affter 2 months because of alarm due to loadshed and power failure not going off I cannot see how this company was rate the best they should be the lowest.... and we had all evidence of suspects and the suspects was arrested .
And my keys stolen in housebreaking was different claim and payment of R9500 for a key it's crazy and after dealing with 3 persons on phone number 3 puts me back to number 1 again sorry mam I was supposed to help you after 40 minutes on phone asking all details are you aware your access is R9500 ? What a waste of time and airtime

Worst insurance company to be with. My vehicle was repaired by a panel beater who is on their database
When I picked my vehicle the speakers in my car was not working ,I contacted king price insurance and the service provider they did absolutely nothing about it ,also repairs to the drivers door was nothing major just a scratch but the door was removed and not even put back properly ,I submitted video footage and other evidence including a diagnostic report that states clearly the vehicle was in their possession when the speakers was tampered with.
This matter is going on from October 2022 till this date .
Do not use this insurance
Pls be very careful of King Price, we signed up, our debit order was supposed to come off end of December. Due to various tragic circumstances in the family, when ask for my bank details, I must have given a number incorrectly. I received a sms on the 5/01 debit order not taken off, I phoned immediately to find out why, / followed up daily asking why debit order not taken off. And to make matters worse, we had an accident the same week, insurance have now just flat out denied claim. I had just been retrenchment, my grandson diagnosed with leukemia, we did our due diligence in continually f/up. How is this acceptable, its almost as if they hung on about taking off debit order so the could deny the claim
