We used Kings to carry out major renovation and construction of a rear extension to our bungalow. During the works Charlie and Henry had to work around us as we were living in the property. They always ensured the place was cleaned before leaving in the evening. They were always on site and accommodated my changes to plans with a smile. The standard of their work was excellent and materials used top quality.

We cannot recommend them highly enough

We were so pleased with the quality of craftsmanship shown by Charlie and Henry when they replaced a wooden worktop that we asked them back to re-tile our kitchen. Their standard of work is extremely high and their skills are matched by their professionalism. They are conscientious, reliable and friendly. We would certainly approach them for future projects and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Charlie and Henry, aided and abetted by Nick the electrician and Mick the plumber did a fantastic job in completely gutting and renewing our bathroom. Communication was streets ahead of others who expressed an interest in the job. The finished room is faultless, and we are very pleased with the result – we have got exactly what we were hoping for. On site every day from day 1 to completion (no ‘wonder where they are?’ moments!) and they worked hard. Clean and tidy workers & respected the rest of the house (bathroom is on 2nd floor). They even chuckled at some of my attempts at humour…! They will definitely get more work from us – highly recommended.

Charlie and Henry completed a full refurbishment of our bathroom that included blocking the original entrance and another doorway and installing a new entry. The ceiling was replaced, the bathroom fully tiled and a new bathroom suite gotten and flooring laid. We were very pleased with the high standard of work completed. Charlie fully detailed the works required and checked details along the way to ensure we were completely happy. We were so happy with the quality of work completed we asked Charlie to complete the full renovation of our kitchen and to lay flooring in our large living room and hallway area. Again we’re very happy with the professional and high standard of work completed. Due to the works completed it was not possible to stay in our house while the works were completed but felt fully comfortable with both Charlie and Henry being in our home without us there. They were very trustworthy. We will be using them for any further building/carpentry works we need doing in our home.

They carried out various much needed improvement works to our house over a period of a couple of months last year. This included preparing the house first and resolving a number of unexpected issues such as roof leak, holes in the upstairs flooring, replacing a sub standard dividing wall.
We were very happy with the standard of the work, time keeping, tidiness and courtesy. They kept us updated on progress throughout. Our neighbours were impressed and commented on how hard they worked!
We were also very happy with the sub contractors they used for the plastering, electrical works and plumbing.

We are very happy with our new living room. It was a very basic room with little character but has been brought to life by the fantastic decorating and media wall built by Charlie.

Charlie is a really nice guy, very tidy and informative throughout the process and getting to know exactly what you want. Also his brother Henry worked hard too and all the other contractors used were very thorough and good at what they do.

We would like to thank Charlie and the team and would definitely use King and Sons Construction again. We would also recommend to anyone else.

We had extensive works completed downstairs, new kitchen, new flooring, moving a door way, bespoke under-stair storage built and painting downstairs.
The standard of work has been excellent with great attention to detail; they were extremely good and keeping tidy and cleaning up at the end of each day. We had some unexpected issues which arose during the works, and these were all dealt with in a calm and professional manner. They were extremely flexible and patient with our changing requests. It's been a pleasure to have them work with us and we would do so again!

Having received a clear and straightforward quote as requested we accepted this and agreed the start date. We were notified well in advance of what the works would involve and the plan as the week progressed.

From arrival to our property on the first day and throughout the process the team from King and Sons Construction were polite, courteous and helpful. Always keeping us up to speed with the progress and informed of options as they presented themselves prior to completion.

This the second time we have used King and son with the same excellent result .Charlie hung and replaced 3 doors - which was challenging as the door frames were not up to spec, but he managed to overcome this in a calm and confident manner. I was so pleased with the degee of his work I engaged him to hang 3 more doors. He deserves his five stars.

I recommend King & Sons based on my recent experience. Charlie fitted a new kitchen, including flooring in a flat with difficult access and a very tight time window. They were responsive, prepared and completed the job to a high standard. Most importantly when some kitchen and flooring items were not delivered as planned he resolved these quickly. Charlie and his wife were good communicators and we think we paid a very fair price for the work.

Charlie replaced a door sill and removed a greenhouse and garage. His communication was prompt and clear from the start. He did a great job throughout, working methodically and tidying up as he went - and he was really friendly. He helped to work through a potential complication with the garage (the possibility of asbestos) with no fuss. I will definitely use Charlie again.

Great professional service with reliability

So pleased we chose King & Sons to do our work. Charlie made a fabulous job of creating a bespoke panelled wall for us and also replacing the woodwork concealing pipes in our cloakroom. Would not hesitate to recommend!

I contacted king and sons to hang a number of doors in my new home following a bad experience with a previous "tradesperson". Charlie was extremely punctual, polite and professional when quoting on the work needed.

Charlie hung a total of 6 doors in my home each one absolutely spot on! He is a very efficient worker cleaning as he goes with a very keen eye for detail. I am over the moon with the service I received from King and sons from the very first contact to the end it was a very pleasant stress free experience! I highly recommend!!! Great job thank you.

Charlie was excellent throughout the works and very easy going. He was always happy to discuss and put my mind the rest about anything i asked. Anytime i called he picked up or would reply to a text asap. I had numerous qoutes for the job but felt a good vibe from Charlie whos price was also competitive. The quality of work was high spec and the areas completed had been cleaned, leaving them spotless. We have discussed further work hopefully for May/June.
