Kiltexperts make very good kilts in a variety of types/styles, they are responsive if you contact them and double check your measurements before making the kilt.
I have 2- a 5 yard traditional kilt in Black Stewart tartan, its lovely my only issue is that is left to right wrap which is a male style and counter intuitive for me.
I also have a woman's modern kilt- in Anderson tartan- it's a different style, fewer pleats, and a broad band crosses the waist and belly. It is lighter than the 5-yard. Both are very comfortable and I love the acrylic wool fabric, it washes very well.
As well as different styles, you can specify your measurements and the length of kilt that you want.
All in all, excellent service from KiltExperts, they deliver within their stated delivery window and produce a quality product

I bought the wedding set in blue which is my 2nd kilt purchase. I am short and overweight but the suit fitted perfectly. the quality is outstanding and the delivery was just around 2 weeks (i live in NZ). Well done and I wholeheartedly recommend Kilt experts to anyone.

KiltExperts delivered above and beyond. They made the too good to be true a reality. I was looking everywhere for a larger (54 size) kilt made from quality material that could be delivered in a week or two time span. I was concerned since this would be a custom order and the company is in London and I'm on the US. But they exceeded expectations, having it made, shipped and delivered in less then 1 week with exelent material and the fit is perfect. The most comfortable any online order has been. Their customer service also replies promptly and is very kind and understanding. 100% would recommend, plus the pricing is exelent, especially for the high quality and service.

We loved this kilt! The fit was great....pay attention to the measuring instructions. It is NOT your pant size. Customer service was diligent and quality and value were really great. Will definitely be ordering again

After some initial confusion with the order, I made contact and received excellent customer service. Delivery with DHL was quick with tracking messages from Hong Kong to my door.

From searching all over the internet as this being my first time buying a kilt and seeing I’m not home (originally from Scotland) I searched all over the web to purchase my kilt. When I found Kilt Experts the website was so easy to navigate, first green flag… when I found my Kilt. second green flag I thought ok I’ll order as I have found the kilt, the time for delivery was fast. Even though delayed by weather back in the UK. Upon receiving my Kilt, I ordered the wrong color. I told Kilt Experts and they said not to worry, how can we fix this I thought no way most companies would not care as much. That and if I order a replacement it would not arrive on time, nope it’s already on its way and will be here Monday. So on Thursday I will look the bell of the ball and do my heritage justice. Nicely constructed kilt and the fit was spot on thanks to some extra help from the support folks at Kilt Experts. The hybrid kilt includes some extra pockets that were a nice surprise.

Well made, soft leather, proper sizing. Great. I hate the pockets but that's an easy fix. Remove and wear a sporran

I ordered 2 kilts from them. Both different types and sizes. The only thing i would not do is add an Inch like suggested. If your a 1/2 size i would go down.
