Just received the AeroCloud Elite sleeping pad in the large size and it's quite at bit heavier than stated on their website. I measured it as 731g instead of the 635g listed. This is for the pad only without carry pack or pump sack. That's an error of almost 100g or 3.4 oz. It's fine for car camping but I think it's too heavy for any long-distance backpacking. I didn't get the Ultralight version because it was listed as only 65g lighter and I wanted the extra thermal insulation (R5 vs R3.8).

We bought 2 of the Kilos camp chairs and love them. Went to a music festival and also camping. So light to carry and easy to assemble. A little longer to take apart, especially in the dark, but great quality. They aren't adjustable like the more expensive ones, but work just great for what we need!

I’ve used the Kilos Gear High Back Chair along with the footstool and canopy for 20+ hours now, and overall I’m really happy with the set. There are a lot of thoughtful design details that make it comfortable and easy to use.

The chair is a great height for me, and I especially appreciate being able to adjust the seating position and recline it, which has pretty much become my default. Setup is easy, and I really like the toggles around the pole insertion points on both the chair and footstool—they make getting the poles into the fabric much easier. The footstool also packs down neatly and is a great addition to the chair.

My main uncertainty is long-term durability of the fabric. After 20+ hours, it has settled somewhat into the shape of my body and seems to have stretched a little. That may simply be a normal characteristic of a lightweight, durable material, and so far it hasn’t affected comfort or usability. I just don’t know yet how it will hold its shape after 100+ hours of use. The footstool fabric has shown a little of the same settling.

One improvement I’d love to see with the footstool is a little more height. With the stool being slightly lower than the front edge of the chair, I sometimes feel pressure underneath my legs where they meet the edge of the seat. A slightly taller stool—or some height adjustment—would make an already comfortable setup even better.

The canopy has actually been better than I expected. I really appreciate how adjustable it is, since I can reposition the coverage as the sun moves. My main pain point is where the canopy attaches to the rear poles. There’s a small plastic ring that appears intended to nest around the ball at the top of the pole, but I’ve found it difficult to seat reliably and it can slip out. The coupler rings that attach to the chair are also quite difficult to install. I’ve left mine attached because I don’t particularly want to go through installing them again. That’s not really a problem in use or storage—this isn’t a backpacking chair where every gram matters—but I think the attachment system could be refined.

Overall, I love the chair, footstool, and canopy combination. It’s comfortable, thoughtfully designed, packs well, and I think it offers good value considering the features and what competitors offer around this price point. My only real unanswered question is longevity. If the fabric continues to hold up well over the next few years, I’ll be extremely happy with the purchase.

Surprisingly pleased with this as i’m always a bit dubious about the quality of stuff made in China especially when it masquerades as American/European but have to say this chair is really good, solid lightweight and extremely well built, so good i bought a second one for my partner who is always sceptical of my bargain buys off the internet. Definitely recommend it.

I spent the month of July in the high Arctic. We did a 4 day backpacking trip to a plant monitoring site. My Kilos Gear AeroCloud Mattress would have to valve pop open when the slightest weight was placed on it. The valve would pop open while inflating it. The valve would get caught on my sleeping bag and be pulled open. I was reinfecting it multiple times a night. When it actually stayed inflated long enough to attempt sleep, it provided no noticeable insulation from the cold Arctic ground.

After the 4 day outing we went to a new site where we had a cabin with wooden plywood bunks. The deflation continued until I put Tuck Tape over the air valve. It stayed closed for 7 days before new tape was required.

The valve and the inflation sack are very poorly designed. I have not used a sleeping pad so useless in 20+ years of guiding and backcountry parks work.

Great customer service when i forgot an item on my order and offer to correct my own error. Additionally, prompt response on return of items (nothing wrong with them, just not a right fit). Other products - standing light and headlamp, brilliant. VERY happy with them and has been pondering purchase for some time. Glad i did!

As soon as it arrived I inflated it to see how it is.
Better than just the floor.
The inflation bag connection (in my opinion) should be a twist loc.
As it gets close to total inflation, the back pressure too easily makes the fitting pop off.

I’ve only had my grand peak chair for a couple weeks but I’ve been putting it to the test setting in it every day after a long hike or a long ride back to the campsite so far I’m very pleased it’s easy to set up and it’s fast. Gotta get some more miles on it I’ll let you know how it holds up.

Great service, good products, my only complaint is the rubber caps on the bottom of the chair legs keep falling off.

Worst customer service ever! Their “hassle free” return policy is a scam. I ordered a sleeping pad from this company and the air valve won’t hold air. So I emailed the company based on their website and now I’m getting the run around about being issued a refund for a defective product I never used. I just want my money back. I would suggest steering clear of ordering anything from this company.
