the lawnmower delivered promptly
the lawnmower delivered promptly, however it took 3 days for the company to collect the lawnmower. They did not give a time which was very inconvenient

Do they fix Lawnmowers?
The sign outside says they fix lawnmowers. Last Wednesday I phoned them and they said they would get back to me when there was someone in the office. On Friday I went there and someone was unloading a mini digger, I spoke to them and they said they had my number and would ring me when there was someone in the office. Its now Tuesday so a week later than the original contact. Still nothing. Apart from the total lack of customer service it raises the question if there is never anyone there who fixes the lawnmowers?

IF ONLY ZERO STARS COULD BE GIVEN
Unfortunately there is no zero star review...
Long story short, rented online a Wacker Plate on Thursday 06.02.25 to use it on Friday 07.02.25 only for 1-2 hours.
I haven't realized it's "click and collect" since I've been asked for delivery address.
Lost that Friday considering common fault (booking page asking for delivery address and mine not realizing it was click and collect)
On Monday 10.02.25 I called and discussed my options, agreed for the machine to be delivered against £30 cost of delivery to be paid on site. They said it'll be at around 10AM on Tuesday.
Monday was gone as well...
Assuming we're taking about 5 stars Kent Hire which they always were spot on in the past, I waited for the delivery on Tuesday 11.02.25. Nothing, no machine, no update. Tried to call them, no answer on mobile or 0800 number.
Left several voicemail, wrote texts... No reply.In total 20 counted unanswered calls & voicemails , and 4 text messages
Tuesday gone also....
Considering they forgot (we're humans..) to send the machine on Tuesday, I hoped that if I remind them by text on Wednesday morning first thing, they will send it over and go forward regardless my 3 days loss already.... Yet again.... It's 5 Stars Kent Hire we're taking about, good lads, helping each other as small business.... They haven't replied...
Wednesday 12.02.25 gone....
Client decided to call them, they answered but when they knew who and why they were called they said they would call back which obviously didn't happen.
Besides the financial loss,imagine the embarrassment and frustration I had to go through ....
Don't know if at least I would be refunded...
I know most of you reading this think it's impossible but calls, voicemails and texts are black on white.
I wouldn't write this review if they would at least answer or call back (as a aspiring trustfull business) until closing time on Wednesday 12.02.
Indeed, most reviews are 5 stars, but what about the 1 star reviews? I read them all and I find myself in every single one of them.
I would never ever use them or recommend to others,you should think twice before ordering from them, specially if your job is tight in budget or time, think of plan B after your order is placed (just in case, regardless the 5 stars you seen)
