Where to start? I requested a hybrid car so that I could test it out on a long run and around town. I am thinking of buying one
so quite important. Unknown to me when I picked up the car, it was not a hybrid but a petrol. Once I got on a motorway and tried to find the hybrid details, I then realised that it was petrol. Too late by this time to return the car. Then I realised that the parcel shelf was missing. Then down a country lane I put the high beam on and they pointed up into the trees, so very dangerous. I called Kenhire, who confirmed that it was not a hybrid, but then asked me to check if it had a battery in the boot, just to confirm that it was not a hybrid! I was on the motorway so not a chance. Anyway, it was obvious by this time that it was not a hybrid. So, waste of money hiring a car. When talking with a young lady during journey about the light problem, there was no apology, just to call the breakdown service. When I returned the car, I was given a refund of £51, even though I paid £215 hire charge and I paid over £80 in unnecessary petrol costs. Not a great experience, so I can't in all honesty recommend Kenhire. A lot more to this hire, but I'm running out of patience.

I have used Kenhire a number of times over the years.
They have on all occasions been fast polite and professional.

I booked a van by phone. I was told the cost would be £120. I was asked to pay the charge upfront which I was okay with but Kenhire took £320 from my account without telling me. When I found out I called them thinking I must have misheard the price but it turns out they had taken a £200 deposit without telling me about it. I was really upset about this but they did not seem to be phased by it at all. They were very matter of fact about having taken an unauthorised payment. I cancelled my van and will not be going back to them.

Very efficient service from start to finish. A completely normal hassle hire and I would absolutely come back and recommend to family and anyone!
